I totally agree, it's awkward. As a stylist I feel I have to use my pinky to pick the hair back up on the brush vs using the brush to put the hair on the nose of the dryer. This dryer the nose area isn't long enough for hair to stay so I use my pinky and it's already in rough shape.
@@mela5821 it works great like almost all Dysons, however the shape makes it difficult to do a simple blowout. It seems the shape was designed for personal hand held use, rather than stylist use. Everything else is good but the shape of it.
@@juliestylez7756 ok. That make sense with the shape. Do you use the original pro model? I don’t but would consider it too. I’ve used a version of a Parlux for 15 + years.
@@mela5821I’ve been doing hair for 20 years, the first 15 exclusively with Parlux. 5 years ago I went with Dyson, and I’m never going back, I only keep the Parlux for Brazilian keratin, because the Dyson filters so well that it gets clogged with residue (easy to clean, but definitely not during the process). I’m on my third Dyson. First one works fine, but I started at a new salon in May, and thought it was time for a new one, second one is also great, but I just sold it today to a coworker, and got the supersonic r, cause it is about 3 or maybe 4 times lighter the professional supersonic. The shape indeed is weird, but you can spin the angle of the nozzle, so you’ll eventually get used to it. To me, that much power with its low noise is just unmatched, much more comfortable. I love keeping a conversation with my clients without the loud roar of a dryer.
hmmmm. just tried it. it was really weird. getting used to holding. I’m giving it one week. so far…i don’t love it.

We just bought one for the salon so I look forward to learning how to use it. I hope it is easy to use and hold
