Stayed at a luxury hotel last week that had these in their rooms and boy, I fell in love. I have thick, waist length, curly, frizzy hair that takes an hour to blow dry. I was hoping for a shorter time but it was the same. Now, this is straight out of the shower with no partial air dry time like I normally give it at home. So I'm sure it would be much quicker if I let it air dry, first. But, I ended up with the smoothest hair afterward. I've never had such a great result. I loved the cool shot which I used on each section. It was quite cool so I think that played a part. I didn't use the concentrator, so I can't speak to that. Great review! I have hair about 3 in longer than yours in this video & im using a 1.2 in round brush. Would a larger round brush make it easier/faster to blow dry my hair?
Dyson is not a gimmick. It's superior engineering. I have a dyson stick vacuum too. It's amazing. The battery runs out kinda quickly, but none of my other vacuums clean as well
Could you compare the Laifen to the Dyson in a video. I would love your honest opinion. I bought the Laifen because its cheaper, but miss the lowest setting for speed. I've gitten used to it, but I am wondering since I have short hair, that needs more styling and curling than fast drying and straightening, if I should purchase the Dyson and just use the Laifen for travel since it is smaller and slightly lighter than the Dyson. Thanks so much for your video.
Hi Sam thank you for the great video. Can you do a video with the dyson sonic with the new hook which is for smoothing the hair out please. If you got it in your box. Many thanks Karen x
Sam could you do a video talking about your professional recommendation for someone who struggles with bad dry scalp and dandruff?? I have struggled with it for years and no shampoo or treatment (I've tried prescribed and drugstore) have ever worked for me :( I would love your opinion on this as a hairstylist !! xx
Would love info on that too: I have awful dandruff and big flakes too. Tried medicated shampoo (Nzoral with 2% ketoconazole) though, the stuff designed to kill a specific type of fungus that causes dandruff. Works amazing!! I use it once every 2 weeks and no dandruff anymore. Then I use my other shampoo and conditioning routine the rest of the time. I do spend slightly more time contitioning my ends but its worth it. I bought a hair dryer to help dry the hair around my scalp faster to help deal with that problem and would love dryer reccomendations under 200 for long thick hair (my braid is 1 inch wide 12" away from my hair)
What’s your regular hairdryer though? Cos I have a Parlux hair salon version and it makes my hair super sleek and it’s been 10 years and still going strong. But my boo is buying me the dyson hairdryer and airwrap…and I’m like should I even let him cos my the is amazing as hell anyways…I just wanna spend his money lol😂
I bought the Dyson hair dryer and tried it a few times before returning it. I have a lot of hair but it’s pretty thin so I will feel it was almost too much especially for the price. I did want a high-quality Dryer that wasn’t damaging to my hair and I wanted something similar to the Dyson so I bought the shark hyper air, and it preforms excellent! Ended up finding one for $179 and returned the Dyson that with tax came very close to $500 which was not worth it to me.
Thank you for the info. Amazing It looks the same as the regular dyson non profesional one. Thanks for the info from hair stylist to hair stylist 💇♂️ ❤️❤️🥰

@@styledbysamvay I’m a stylist and use this on all my clients! have had mine for 1.5 years and will never go back :) as long as you clean the filter it’s magic. I change mine out once a day
Can you do a video using the diffuser piece?
Please do a follow up video I have the harrier describing in really want to try it but like you said the price tag is hefty.
Great review! I have hair about 3 in longer than yours in this video & im using a 1.2 in round brush. Would a larger round brush make it easier/faster to blow dry my hair?
I absolutely love my dyson for work!! I thought I’d never spend that amount for my own personal blowdryer. But I might 😬😬 it’s that good!
Your hair looks so shiny!
ur whole look in this video is amazing ! navy blue is def ur color !
“ i reeelie didnt wanna like this “ Lol 😆
Thanks so much for your video.
the supersonic r came out! do you plan on doing a review of it in the future???
Ever since I bought and used this hairdryer, I stop using other hairdryers. It’s MAGIC. Worth the price tag tbh
please do updates too on this!
definitely got me with the title; i was like WHAAAAAAAAAATTT!!
k now back to watching video
Thanks for the video - so authentic! Can’t wait to try mines.
Hi Sam thank you for the great video. Can you do a video with the dyson sonic with the new hook which is for smoothing the hair out please. If you got it in your box. Many thanks Karen x
literally bought a dyson after this review - give this girl a little commission !!!
Sam could you do a video talking about your professional recommendation for someone who struggles with bad dry scalp and dandruff?? I have struggled with it for years and no shampoo or treatment (I've tried prescribed and drugstore) have ever worked for me :( I would love your opinion on this as a hairstylist !! xx
Would love info on that too:
I have awful dandruff and big flakes too.
Try a natural apple cider vinegar or ginger shampoo. They're the only types that helped me... no more itching!
Gorgeous hair...!!! I love my Dyson too....and I'm a bloke...!!! My female friends are a little jealous 🤣🤣🤪
Did you ever post a follow up?? I’m interested in what results where after using for a while?
What’s your regular hairdryer though? Cos I have a Parlux hair salon version and it makes my hair super sleek and it’s been 10 years and still going strong. But my boo is buying me the dyson hairdryer and airwrap…and I’m like should I even let him cos my the is amazing as hell anyways…I just wanna spend his money lol😂
How do u like the airwrap and supersonic compared to ref dryer? I want either a good dryer or airwrap I can’t decide 😂 I just have a cheap Conair now
Mine was 650 lol. I sent one to Russia. Sent it in April this year, and still waiting for it to show up...
Do you think it’s better than the revlon styling brush tool?? Your hair looks amazing though!
I heard that shark dryer is way too hot, is it truth?
I’d love to know your opinion on using it on clients I’m a little worried about how short the nozzle is!
I would love to see you review the air wrap!
Girl your smile when you finished the bottom half of your hair. I’m sold but I so don’t want to be😂😭
Hi so my husband just surprise me with the non professional one, your video was great.
Does anyone with curly/wavy hair use this with the diffuser attachment?
Wondering how it compares to the black orchid
Thank you for the info. Amazing
It looks the same as the regular dyson non profesional one. Thanks for the info from hair stylist to hair stylist 💇♂️
❤️❤️🥰
