Love your workspace, dude! That’s enough to make me subscribe! Done! And, the video was all right, too! 😃 Been looking into Stellarium, and found this helpful! 👍 Thanks!
Well I just added the pano-view of my house n trees in my backyard to Stellarium and that works nicely. So I though I'd add in the extras on this video. Looks like a lot more subjects to shoot. That is if we could manage to get rid of the cloud cover here in upstate NY. My Redcat 51 and ASI2600MC are getting hungry! I had no idea there was so much more to Stellarium. It seems endless. Thanks for the good info. Here's to hoping for CS!!
Thanks Chad, for sharing these tips about Stellarium. From now on I will only use HIPS buttons, which I even didn't know it existed before seeing your this video.
Hey Chad, thanks for making this clear, Stallarium is awesome, this makes it better😀I did see Steve’s interview with Glenn, (Me and Glenn often image together) Steve did mention this, but you’ve gone into it a bit more which will surely help a few more people, like me😀 Thanks & Clear skies!
You can toggle ground view by hitting [G] and atmosphere by hitting [A] and then you're in outer space. Both toggle buttons are in the low toolbar. Enjoy!
I have the paid version of Stellarium on my phone.. if I go to Stellarium on my laptop will I still be able to use the paid version I’ve already paid for or will I have to pay again for each device I use it on??
Wouldn’t you need the paid version to see comets and other small objects.. i have the paid version and I love it.. at the moment I’m not using a telescope with it but I’m definitely going to get another one soon.. hopefully a lot nicer than the cheap $300 one I used to have…

Just sad these options are not available on the iPhone Stellarium app.
Desktop only

Stellarium is free on pc and amc
I just downloaded this app yesterday, how do I search comets on the pc
its tricky but you need to turn them on under the solar system tab and then load the current data
