    Between the community, systems, team, and command center, Augusta is amazing. Even after having all of the current information/systems (we’re constantly evolving), I would still choose this brand every day of the week. When we open multiple locations, I will be using the franchise to do it. I truly believe it’s the best decision if you want to get into the landscaping business. If you decide not to, that’s fine to because that means more locations available for the rest of us 😜

    I would say the pros to joining Augusta would be the automations and the option of command center.

      100%. But I see the network of franchisees is worth more than the automations. Having a network of people with knowledge is amazing.

    I have a question for you Mike
    What type license do I need for a lawn care( mowing ,weed whack, blow) in Pennsylvania?

    Very cool Mike ! What’s the revenue goal for 2023 ? Are you able to share the p&l for the Augusta franchise ?

    • @MikeAndes
      @MikeAndes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Unfortunately, I can’t share these numbers as it was used against us last year by a competing franchise and led to headache we had to defend legally. Sorry, I will have to keep the revenues and profits internal.

    Hey Mike
    At what dollar amount of yearly revenue should you consider on starting to franchise a brand I’d like to know your opinion on this I highly respect you and your opinion thank you

      Revenue is not a factor. It is whether or not you think you can get to 100 locations within 5 years.... Do you have the social reach OR advertising $$ to make that happen since most franchises fail and many are unprofitable until 100+ locations.

    What is the current annual revenue of a single location franchise? I know my next comparison isn’t apples/apples however $20k for a 10 year franchise is at parity with a McDonald’s franchise, which is $45k for a 20 year franchise, and their average sales are around 3.2 million. So $20k for 10 years seems quite high to me.
    Also, how is annual revenue projected in markets where you have no current exposure?

    • @MikeAndes

      We don’t have renewal fee after 10 years so technically it is indefinite license. Average monthly is currently $30-35K including all locations (new and seasoned). McDonald’s takes a cut/ royalty (Approx 10-12%) plus all food is purchased through them.

    I can clearly see the benefits of a franchise business. What puts me off and it’s not just you, pretty much same across the board is the salesman type pitch . Always overly optimistic with the revenue and incomplete when referring to outgoings . All garden franchises do this and I think there are franchisees who step into this expecting to make a lot more money then they actually do and perhaps end up closing down and accepting a loss . I’ve received literature (not Augusta)showing expected revenues and the costs involved and I can clearly identify costs which have been omitted from the literature to make it look better than it is . Most are a lot worse than you.

      I sure hope I didn’t promise revenues… it’s illegal. I tried to be as objective as anyone can be when they have financial interest. We turn many people away from the franchise.
      Ultimately, the only way to find out about any franchise is call random franchisees and get the full scoop… and ask the franchisor if you can contact franchisees that failed.
      We would be happy to provide those contacts
