So if you know me well, you know I'm a HUGE Hans Zimmer fan. The man makes absolutely fantastic film scores. This one is no exception. As far as the movie goes, I loved it! Everyone knows I'm a die hard fan of the cinematic experience haha and this one got me. Let me know your suggestions for tunes in the comments :) Big ups for everything! I don't know how much time you spend on reading comments, but this is the best cover I've heard from the Interstellar soundtrack so far. Still giving me shivers after listening to this about 50 times by now, like it's the first time! Keep the good work up

This film is one of the most overly criticized movies ever made. Some people had the audacity to give films like the Avengers and Frozen a 10/10 while leaving Interstellar with scores lower than a 6/10 for having a "shit plot". That is when I realized that some people just don't have the ability to think or let alone appreciate true film material.
Alex Vennos It major flaw was the weak/exposition dialogue in some scenes and IMO the ending was way too long. It should have ended when Cooper "died" or when he woke up in the future. It was to dragged out.

I saw this movie in Imax theater. During that scene. I felt like I was there. In that space craft. Spinning with emotion on an uncontrollable ride. That scene powered by the music is one of the most powerful in recent movies in my opinion.

The same as King Midas turned everything he touched into gold, 331Erock turns everything he plays into outstanding metal music. This time the starting point was already great music from Hans Zimmer, but I love any song being played by 331Erock. I can listen this video again, and again, and again. I would do absolutely anything to listen to 331Erock live in Spain.

This is some serious melodic death metal going on here. both songs have a real gothic vibe in the beginning, and then it heavily reminds me of In Flames.
Edit: Does anyone know of any really good gothic metal bands? I'm not talking Evanescence, or Within Temptation. I know of Symphonic metal, and I'm not really looking for that either.
What I'm looking for is some heavy, but soft/slow music without the chugging guitars. Something melodic with keyboards/pianos. One song that really comes to mind is Cradle of Filth's song Nymphetamine. It's soft, and dark, but really powerful.
If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.
Saimeren Some of Arch Enemy's stuff on their album War Eternal is pretty similar, not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but similar.
royalcat10 Thanks for the suggestion, but Arch Enemy is more heavy than dark. I`m all for heavy, and a lot of the stuff I listen to is, but I'm looking for more "stroll through the graveyard" and less "Rip your face off". lol.
I don't really know what you want but I really love the album Fiction by Dark Tranquility. You may enjoy their stuff.

The perfect song in my opinion. There are a decent amount of CoF songs that I like, and I generally tend to like most black metal, but this is just perfect. It not only has the female vocals, but it's soft, and melodic. It's still heavy, but very dark. Although Danny's vocals aren't the best out there; his creaming works really well in contrast to the female vocals, and the keyboards.
Checking out that album now.
Edit: I really like it. Not quite what I'm looking for, but I'm going to go listen to some more of them, and download some of their stuff anyway. Good band.
Edit: The middle of A Closer End is a lot like what I'm looking for. The piano and guitar solo's are awesome.

I saw this movie, and it is a tear jerker for me because I have a tight relationship with my daughters, and I am in the Army. I leave for a year at a time, and I always hope they understand that what I do is to give them a better chance at life. Hearing your version of this music is absolutely gut-wrenching in a good way.
