I think the smiling is a natural uncontrollable reaction when you play something that sounds good. I do the same thing when I play and the better it sounds to me, the bigger the smile
I have more of a frown because the better the music, the harder it is to play, the more I focus on my music, and the less my face does anything. Like really, the only reaction I get when I get to a good part on my Timpani music are goosebumps.
Love watchin' this dudes facial expressions as he plays!! You can just tell that he Loves jammin' out, and it also shows through how awesomely he jams the songs and tunes he picks. Props Dude, for real!
It is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE not to smile until your face hurts, watching this guy play! i have never seen anyone get so into the music! it is truly contagious! thanks for the videos, and thanks for this song! one of my all time favorites :D NymphetaminexXxGrrrl
Vexaken No i am sadly lacking in concert experiences...only been to two concerts, and one mosh. do you mean to say that someone actually exceeds this level of enthusiasm?
+NymphetaminexXxGrrrl I highly recommend you look into them. And not really, but it shows that the music has a connection to the musician as opposed to just making music for money.
+NymphetaminexXxGrrrl Deeply apologize, I misread what you asked. Yes I do think that someone exceeds this level of enthusiasm. His enthusiasm is great, but Nightwish exceeds this level.
This is the music used for the combat between Gozilla and Megaguirus. Look up the video. If it hasnt been removed, though, last time I checked, it could only be seen on computer.
My opinion is that this cover is your opus magnum, after that i've heard many 10/10 covers from you but non of them were so superb like this one. Applause!
Why don't we spread this video? Share it as much as we can, everyone who has taste in music (either if they don't listen to this genre) would love this, this is high quality and awesomly done thing!
+spartanace13 well.... i've been there, more like it i was blackmailed by the cousin when i was 6 yrs old... had to do all of her friends as well they were all like 7 years older then me... i was the king... the sadness part came in when i got my ass belted by everyones parents (even though it wasn't my fault, i was only 6 =P)
You know what I think would be pretty freaking sweet? I would love to see you play something from Eric Whitacre. Maybe something like Sleep, October, Nox Aurumque, or Water Night. Those songs are phenomenal the way they are, but I think it would be AMAZING if you did a cover of them. That would require many different recordings; but knowing you, I know you'd find a way to make it work. :) you might want to try it out. Take a slow, serene piece, and turn it around into a metal masterpiece.
Haven’t seen your stuff in a while, just realized I wasn’t subscribed like I was so many years ago. Well I changed that. Have so much love for your work and the era I was a part of originally hearing such.
This guy is awesome. He does awesome work , and i really love that he keeps smiling , his smile make the whole video even better than someone who just stares with a fixed face at the guitar with no facial expression. That dude rocks
The sheer passion of it all 🙌🏽🔥💪🏽 from the way you interpret the music, the chord progessions, the godlike chops, but above everything else witnessing the journey and the high you get after executing a lick - Priceless 👌🏽⚡🤘🏽
A smile goes along way.. My 'guitar mouth' looks like a frowning old dead guy lying in an open casket. I need to work on my guitar smile then I'll be cool like 331Erock!
I was listening to this over and over again earlier while fighting 2 legendary dragons I spawned on Skyrim. Ah, that was the most epic fight I've ever seen. Absolutely amazing cover, though!
Oh mate, the energy you share with us mere mortals is a welcome relief from what is life. If ya every travel through the Australian opals fields, give me a buzz, would be keen to put up in a shack and have a jam, I'm a pianist. Long time fan of lux aeterna, learning Clint Mansels version at the moment. Keep the wicked smile and energy flowing mate, the world needs it.
If the end of the world was happening, I would play this song, because it would make meteorites, earthquakes, all the bad things that would kill us more dramatic and soothing. As a fire ball would be coming down the street, this song playing in the background would make closing my eyes, accepting my death more dramatic and the best death possible. Just imagine your final moments when 3:41 starts.
Bro you're the most amazing guitarist i have ever seen , i guarantee that there is no better cover for requiem for a dream better than this cover . I have a request if you can play voice of the soul for death and download it please man i'd appreciate it .. Big ups and keep up the goodwork
When I listen, I imagine alien battles with F-22 raptors outfitted with railguns and tanks with rotating 120mm vulcan cannons.... thank you for that image.
Gangster88232 Railguns are technically a thing already, they're just hilariously impractical, for two reasons: 1) Size. In order to have decent range, the two tines that give the weapon its name have to be enormously long. 2) Heat. The things get so hot that they tend to melt themselves.
erock you are truly awesome. i am 67 and love rock but you take it to a new dimension i listen to your playing and i am amazed....top player ...go get some
67! Before plastic and real transistors! Im 42 its my job to taunt you a lil :) This guy is amazing..I expect to see him around for the rest of my duration :)
I play guitar and I don't even have drums, but they are the reason i am always coming back to watch this video. Honestly this track has one of the best drums i've ever heard. Almost as good as Lars
Someday, I want to see Eric perform live. It would be the most awesome two hours ever. How does he NOT have a recording contract? How is he not in a band?
+777scubadiver Maybe he doesn't want to be? I think he might just be happy doing TH-cam videos of covers. Being in a band would mean he produces less stuff for TH-cam.
Can’t tell you how many times over the last few years I’ve watched this. Fucking rock on man!! You look so genuinely happy playing it’s COVIDly infectious
I was 13 when this came out and when I started playing and now I'm 21 and I have been watching your videos ever since and kept playing because of your videos and Jared dines videos. You've inspired me to try harder and harder everyday and to not give up, your little smile and head movements show how much you love doing what you're doing and showing you're having fun. Keep up the good work and I shall too.
I love all your videos except this one cause this lux aeterna is one of sadest music i have heard and you just make it like a partie it is death music and you give it a life The good thing in lux aeterna is it is a sad son but yours is not like it at all
Badass. I've been listening to a lot of leapfrog studios Leo doing covers. Dude you rock and to see someone smile and having fun makes the video even better. Thanks
this dude is the happiest guitarist i've ever seen.
word, all his videos he has the biggest smile on his face.
I guess he just loves playing guitar. You really shouldn't even start if you don't.
I think the smiling is a natural uncontrollable reaction when you play something that sounds good. I do the same thing when I play and the better it sounds to me, the bigger the smile
who wouldnt be happy if they could play guitar like that xD
I have more of a frown because the better the music, the harder it is to play, the more I focus on my music, and the less my face does anything. Like really, the only reaction I get when I get to a good part on my Timpani music are goosebumps.
Remix: heavy metal

1:16 - 1:27 was so raw. I literally started applauding at 3 AM.
Viktor Stagnetti and why wouldn't you? is there no greater response to a magnificent performance.
I almost skipped this part, thanks
Same here
Qqaaaaa
The best part about your videos is seeing how much you enjoy making these songs. I respect people who love what they're doing.
Love watchin' this dudes facial expressions as he plays!! You can just tell that he Loves jammin' out, and it also shows through how awesomely he jams the songs and tunes he picks.
Props Dude, for real!
Robert Welliver he be like "I'm owning this shit, look at me y'all!"
Robert Welliver I totally agree!

You must not have seen Nightwish live.

Vexaken right on :) i am familiar with Nightwish, i used to listen to them all the time, i just never saw them live. will have to check it out.
I love his attitude,he's smiling and looks happy the whole time playing.Awesome stuff.
ITS BEEN 8 YEARS!! I watched this dude back in middle school! Love you man! Keep up the amazing work!!
I just have to say that this song goes perfectly with playing some classic DOOOOOOOM!!!!
+Jarod Smith Classic DOOM FTW ;)
Jarod Smith
Finally, another person with appreciation for the classics
In the Doomone mod for Doom this song is in it
This sounds like it's supposed to be a theme song to a really epic show.
No, but I've heard of it. I feel rather foolish as of now. Still, epic music.
agreed Ultrasound700
It is, it's called fuck the system show, your in it.
This is the music used for the combat between Gozilla and Megaguirus. Look up the video. If it hasnt been removed, though, last time I checked, it could only be seen on computer.

@@abdulrahmanfayoumi4300 Look up the song dude
I wish.
I was going to compliment the awesomeness of this song, but I don't think words exist that can accurately express just how awesome this was.
God, Requiem for a Dream is the most fucking depressing film ever created. Hearing this just brings back bad memories. You sir did a great job.
I saw the movie when I was in JOB CORPS back in 2011....it definitely made me wanna steer clear of drugs that's for sure!
When I was in my depressed douche bag kid phase I listened to this song so much... the original not the metal one, which is bad ass.
You should watch Grave of the Fireflies...
They made us watch that in a film class... can't say that I love the movie but its definitely stuck with me for years.. bad memories for sure.

best requiem for a dream cover beside the one from the lord of the rings trailer
It took me a minute to remember what this song was, and then I lost it after hearing you play it. Great cover btw!
If the end of the world was happening, I would play this song, because it would make meteorites, earthquakes, all the bad things that would kill us more dramatic and soothing. As a fire ball would be coming down the street, this song playing in the background would make closing my eyes, accepting my death more dramatic and the best death possible. ruben groet or maybe the Benny Hill song

120mm? Wtf? Allienn shit kick ass A 10 with 30 mm M61 Vulcan. Railgun is gay, for scifi comic, bro. Stormfire of lead and uran is for this song...
All the aliens need to do is to create rain, F22s can't fight in rain, hahahaha, piece of scrap metal.
Gangster88232 Railguns are technically a thing already, they're just hilariously impractical, for two reasons:
1) Size. In order to have decent range, the two tines that give the weapon its name have to be enormously long.

Erock: here's my idea of Lux Aeterna as a metal song
Metallica 10 years later: hold my non -alcholoic beer
Just found this 8 years late... that was PURE FIRE!!
I love all your videos except this one cause this lux aeterna is one of sadest music i have heard and you just make it like a partie it is death music and you give it a life
