Oh boy I can't wait to play city Escape with forces style edm music ha ha. I seriously hope they considered the musical style of the original levels but I have my doubts based off of what we've seen
@@dunkboyxd6618 City Escape is a good level, but it is iconic because of the music, my point isn't to dunk on the style of sonic forces music, it's to point out that the level themes are being written without regard for what makes them special. I'm not going to judge the quality or style of forces music because that is subjective, but I will say its usage is an objective failure as none of the tracks sound that different from each other yet there are so many places, situations and levels. Classic sonic music in that game is my favorite because even if it sucked I was able to differentiate tracks and even remember some (ghost town has spooky music) sorry for the rant, I just really care about music.
@@goofyblocks Every Cyberspace stage had EDM and I accepted that before even going in lol The stages are treated as their own, it's not THE City Escape, but rather a stage set on its own that recreates City Escape level design Heck I can remember the EDM music and which stage it hails from and some songs fit the platforming rhythm of that specific stage
