This is by far one of the best plans I've seen yet. Alex was done so f-ing dirty in the original trilogy. Also, there is a way Batman could force a feedback loop into Robocop. Mind control. Hear me out on this. All of his directives will clash if faced with a mind controlled foe. Since the subject is mind controlled, all of their actions from that point are being done by the person who is mind controlling them. Which makes the mind controlled subject innocent. Directive 2: Protect the Innocent. But since the mind controlled subject is causing harm, he must engage. Directive 1: Serve the public trust. Directive 3: Uphold the Law. But how can he engage without harming the innocent mind controlled subject? This will serve as a feedback loop that, if his human side doesn't take over, his robot side will short out, crashing his systems since if he doesn't follow his directives, the system shut's itself down. So all Batman has to do is have someone be volunteered to be mind controlled, and have them do stuff that, while not threatening to the public, could cause some harm to the surrounding environment. Allowing that destruction to take place will be against Directive 1. Which will start the loop. Couldn't be simpler.
Appreciate that Batman respects Alex's autonomy and humanity.
