Literally just did SSB Good Mornings today after deadlifts. Good Mornings on the SSB is one of my favorite accessories. Super challenging but effective!
Try them with reverse mini bands, it feels so good to go all the way down unlike on a traditionally loaded GM
Agreed. SSB is the only way I feel it where I am supposed to and doesn't feel like I am going to injure myself.

I am a big fan of Good Mornings ! I do them every day pre gym, but with no to little weight. Occasionally I'll substitute RDL's but I've never used as a complete exercise (1/2 squat max or squat for reps amt) Going to try and add these weights on leg days and continue to go light on off days because in addition to the benefits here, it's a great way to loosen up/warm up the entire body.

I do them banded as per John Meadows instructions. I can squat low 500 range and the elitefts light normal etc bands are fine for me as I like to pump out reps on this. Any issue with this?

love your videos, so much good, sensible info. kind of dislike the American habit of throwing the word "tactical" around everywhere, buts that quite another matter😅
Do you work w tactical ?? I do and they share many similarities
@@WenningStrength I think the term of "tactical" in the way Americans use it( which I of course might misunderstand)is completely meaningless and is a misuse of the word. You Americans seem to throw the term around for anything remotely connected to any military/law enforcement/first response. So a backpack or an axe or a physical training regime becomes "tactical". To me "tactical" is a level of operation/unit size/equipment below operational and strategic. I understand that training can be "tactical" but to me(and I would think in any European language) that would mean specific training in tactics as such, ie how to act together, not a physical training regimen or a flashlight or anything else than what the word really means.
This is of course mainly a LANGUAGE gripe on my part, and I recognize that I have no right to be irritated by any other countries language and use of terms, but to me a term like "tactical strength training" or "tactical services" is just so meaningless.
Never worked in anything remotely "tactical" except law enforcement, but like any male of my generation and geographical location Ive been conscripted and served.
So if my posterior chain is way more dominant than anterior chain it doesn't really help me right, my front Squats are at like 70kg for sets of 6 reps, my back squat is like 140kg for a couple reps, my conventional deadlift is 220kg for 5 reps, 255 for 1 and 180kg for 14 reps, and I do even more whenever I try sumo. So I should just focus on front Squats and Squats rather than DL since DL comes naturally to me even with time.off right? I tried good mornings the other day and they felt stronger than my normal squat. I went up to 100kg for 10 reps and it felt pretty easy and it didn't become a partial squat it was decent form
