You're great at teaching psychology and boosting people's confidence. Besides all the great Magic there are not many teachers who take the multi angled approach.
Magic doesn't just help with creating Wonder and mystery it is great at helping with social situations and creating a report.
You have definitely changed the concept and stereotypes of magic for eternity.
Sorry if that sounds cheesy but it's true.

I like saying: I have good and bad news.. The good news is there is no bad news and the bad news is I just lied

Lied about getting married at 19 to my parents at the time out of fear and still happily married 29 years later. Ellusionist in the beginning got me into magic years ago and Jay... you sir are a legend and true master of the craft!

Every time I perform magic to a crowd I of course tell a bunch of false statements.. which they need to believe 😂
Starting from "This is an ordinary shuffled deck" to "Your card is completely lost in the middle"

I lie to my friends and don’t tell them I learn Magic from TH-cam 😚 Because if I did then the Magic affect wouldn’t be the same.

I often lie to people about just getting out of jail to see their response! Often I say, “Yoy really appreciate freedom when u get out”. Sometimes before I confess to them that I’m only joking, someone will ask what I was in jail for. And that’s when I respond, “for lying” like I am right now! I usually get a big laufh
I lied about going to school every day.

I lied about lying
With a set up deck if you memorize the deck you only gonna need to look at the key card and then the deck could be throughly mixed and you can still guess their card without looking at the deck afterward.
I lied to my parents about not building a computer. They told me not to but I got the parts anyways and didn’t tell them. Not my proudest moment but I came clean and everything is good now.
Coming clean about some big lie can be so terrifying, but often, even if things go WORSE than you imagine they might, in the end, it's the best call.

Oh yeah, ummm.... I'm really pretty honest most of the time... If I do lie it's usually to spare someone's feelings... Like: What a nice dress (did someone throw up on it? [Of course that's the part I'm thinking])... I guess I also lie to myself, that people don't care how fat I am... Ah well... Can't please everybody, right?
I sometimes lie to my friends about a magic tricks if they think i'm using a trick deck
I like everyone else lie to people about a lot of things but the biggest is that i lie to myself that “ i am happy”

Funny thing when I was practicing this for the first time ever. My top card ended up on the bottom of the deck. I was thinking before even trying this trick of that happening would take a long time before that happening. And it happens on my first try and only after 4 cuts lol

I once lied about being late to my grandfather. He had told me and my friend to be back at 7pm. We reset our watches by 15 minutes and arrived just in time. He knew we had done it. My trust was questioned...

What have I lied about? I lie about who I am, to everyone, myself included. "Fake it till you make it." However, I don't know what I was trying to make all those years ago.
I used to be scared to poop in public 😂 so when I was 6 my parents said if you go poop at camp today we will give you extra tokens at the arcade. I said I pooped but then felt guilty after and admitted u didn’t 😂
I get stuck in meetings at office, i lie my daughter will reach in 5 min. She goes to sleep.

Hey good luck. I'm sure they'll love it. Can't wait to hear about their reactions. I used to lye a lot as a kid. I was playing with a friend and he had this cool Sword of Omens. His mom called him so i quickly hid the sword. He said he had to go home and wanted his sword. I said someone came in and took it. As he started leaving, i told him wait your sword. He said, i thought someonetook it. Feeling stupid, i just said, oh yeah they brought it back... 😂😂 i was horrible at it so i try to be honest and truthful now.
