When the Justice League animated series came out I was glad Wonder Woman wasn't the only female on the team, but I was actually pissed that they chose Hawkgirl instead of Black Canary. By the end of the second season Hawkgirl had become my favorite character on the show.
The best origin of hawkgirl will always be the dcau origin form the justice league cartoon. Thanagarians are just so much cooler as a warrior race than space police which the lantern cores have covered tbh. Plus screw ancient egypt stuff, the dcu already has greek gods, the newgods and the christian versions of heaven and hell it doesnt need ancient Egyptian stuff in that mix as well it just gets confusing.

Hawkgirl is one of my all time favorite heroes. My preferred version is the animated series version but I love nearly all of them. She's such an under-appreciated superhero!
When I first saw her in justice league, didn't know what to think. But gotta say, glad that show added her in so much, cause she turned out to be an exciting character.
My personal favorite version of Hawkgirl is the one from the Justice League. I like the build up of her relationship with GL and the twist of her true origins. It's nice to see a female character given some depth and not just some pretty, weeping, damsel-in-need-of-saving arm candy like many of the female characters unfortunately get reduced to.
She was the best character in the animated Justice League. Her plot was so mindblowing and her conclusion was heartbreaking. She betrayed her own planet to save Earth and had to endure her friends and ex's distrust. I wish she was a bit more exploited.

I LOVED Justice League's Hawkgirl... MUCH better looking that Wonder Woman, more grounded and just the right amount of ferociousness. The scene where GL took off her hawk mask for the first time. I was like "HOLY SHIT. SHE'S HOT!!!!" Like watching Goku going Super Saiyajin for me... perfectly drawn, emphasized by the moment and worth every minute I waited.

I want to add now if HawkGirl was ever shown in a live-action movie body form of slowly growing up then she would go from being known as Hawkgirl to much later being titled as HawkWoman. But I wonder if & when this female character hero might ever make her appearance in the (DC ComicBooks)movies like for instance the (JUSTICE LEAGUE) movies set?

Knowing that in the reel mythologie thor is a redhair and that her mace kind of remind me mjornil and she actually may me think to Thrud daughter of Thor. I would i love that. I love her story with Green lantern but my favorite part was when she was with Wonder woman. I would i want more scène with these two .together

Hawkgirl from Justice League was the fiercest superheroes I had ever seen.
