Zatanna is literally my FAVORITE superhero of all time! She can do just about anything and her entire concept is so original. It really sucks that she's not in mainstream media though.
Her concept is really original. But the thing is, some people thinks that "Zee is a copycat version of Wanda". Look at some pages. People writed things about that. İt burned me out.

I think she is pretty popular back then, a strong B-list character indeed like Green Arrow and Powergirl. She even become chairwoman at Justice League of America at Silver Age era (or Bronze if I wrong around chapter 190 to 230s issue), the first from outside the original seven.
I totally agree. She needs her own film on CW Seed like Vixen got. Plus she needs to show up in The Arrowverse somewhere on the CW !!! Flash or Legends.

Fran Madaraki She did pre-New 52. Grant Morrison had a run on her in Seven Soliders of Victory. Paul Dini also had a run on her before it got cancelled because the New 52. There were also some older ones but these are my fav. :D
Dovah Cheese Actually, it was Mattel that put the knife into the heart of YJ. _They_ were the ones selling the toys but the show was attracting the wrong demographics. i.e. Girls (horrors!), teens and young adults. The toy maker was targeting the "Teen Titans: Go"/"Batman: TAS"crowd.
She's definitely my favourite female superhero. When other characters are trying to save a plane they are in from crashing, they have to risk the lives of everyone involved. Zatanna just needs to say "enigne xif" and return to sleep. Also no one does palindromes as awesome as her, "stack cats", "nurses run", taking down opponents with a horde of cats and nurses.
Midsomnyx YA I found that interesting as well, though I think they may have done that to keep either keep the show grounded in a more realistic setting (Clayface I believe was the closest character to having super human powers or abiliteswithout needing weapons or special equipment), or so that there were no heroic characters that were more powerful than Batman at the time (Though this one gets thrown out the window once the Superman Series started and the New Batman Adventures were created.)

I like her better with Nightwing in Young Justice vs. the love interest of Batman. Then again, I like most things about Young Justice except cliff hanger at the end of Season 2. Bastards.
