Yes! 1000% think the people who are winning are those who take risks and don’t have a plan b. I moved out of my parents house with $50 in my pocket and three years later have a social media management business (also thank you for helping with that haha). No partying, no friends, I moved three states away from my closest friends and family so I had no distractions. Get away from everything, work on yourself and come back the best version you can!
Yes Latasha I am relating so hard! I'm in that exact stage when you were still working your 9-5 but didn't feel it safe enough to leave yet. It's such a struggle! I'm also dealing with mental health stuff simultaneously. Thank you for sharing this part of your journey because not many are so open about it!
You are so relatable! Thank you for opening up and sharing your story 💜 you really inspire me to keep it up. No matter how small, that effort is always rewarded in the long run.
Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable, I kind of needed to hear this. I’ve been working full time for 2 1/2 years for a company that was recently bought out, that company fired me a few days ago due to a misdemeanor from 5 years ago. I’m not sour about it, but it definitely hurt my feelings lol. I’ve been in the middle of starting my own business, being a full time student and mom to a 5 month old & 10 year old. I’ve been feeling like I can’t catch a break. This really inspired me to continue to keep shooting for my business because if there’s anyone that I can depend on, it’s me. Thank you Latasha!
Thanks for sharing your story! I just started TH-cam and it's disheartening to see the slow growth in subscribers, which makes me doubt whether I can become a freelancer one day. Your channel gave me so much inspiration!
I didn't know it was possible to think you were cooler than I already did, but here we are. Thank you for sharing and being so open and honest! 💜 PS Livejournal was the best and I still miss it a lot.
Thank you for sharing your story! I’m at the beginning of my journey and it’s inspiring to see you’ve been at this for years. It’s definitely put some perspective in there for me 😊
Oh after this video I love you even more! First off: your voice-ANNOYING? Who said that? Your voice is the most soothing and calming speaking voice out there, it could easily put me to sleep if I wasn't so busy watching your videos carefully! That was a tough journey but man, you are a true boss!! Congrats on everything!
Thank you for sharing your story about your dad. It touched my heart deeply. I have had a lot of heavy family burdens to bear too and it gives me hope that you have become successful in your career, even threw carrying some of those. I feel like it cripples me sometimes. Annnd you are so knowledgeable at what you do!!! I am sooo sad I blew my money on a course that was a scam.
@LatashaJames This really home, you are enough and so happy that you made it through that grief. I have gone through a similar situation, not a loss, but she was an addict and was gone for 6 years of my life as a teenager from 12-18 but she found ways to call me, via payphone, called the public library to check on me and even though she was not physically there she made sure to tell me that she loved me and that I was enough. Long story short, she got clean has been living her best life in Florida and she we have repaired our relationship.
Your story sounds very similar to mine. I'm SO glad that she made it through and got well. Such a blessing! You are strong and I'm glad you got through it too ❤️

Latasha you are so inspiring. I have similar experience losing a father. You inspired me to start a business as a podcast and SMM. I am so burned out from teaching. Thank you!!!
I am so obsessed with this! I am inspired to make my own internet kid entrepreneur timeline just to see my own journey written out. So proud of you my friend 💗
Hi! I only recently found your channel and everything but if have found it so helpful and inspiring! I was wondering if you could do a video on making and writing up contracts? Or also one that maybe includes increasing followers? Sorry if you have already done these! 💛
Hi. Thanks for sharing. It was inspiring. ^_^ Can you also include in your "Work Week" video small info about your studio setup for podcast: which mic you are using, which amplifier (if any), etc. Would help me a lot. Thanks :)
