I have the wood stock one and i Love it. I cant find this anywhere here in Lubbock Texas. This is a Great All around round. Small enough for small game and big enough for Wild Hogs and even Deer as law will allow. And a great Self Defense round with Hornady FTX rounds . I have a 22 Rossi Gold Cerakote / Black wood one which is a Beautiful looking rifle for 299 on sale at Academy. Keepers for sure . Also, a Newly acquired Marlin 336W 30-30 for 327 at a pawn shop.
The action on this is smooth as silk, it really is impressive and very accurate and it is an excellent solidly built firearm. It feels like quality when you hold it. We were very impressed with it.
I like the flag on it. I would like to find one with a flag. I just got a straight black one and I like it. And the WMR has a little more zip on it. I did put a pic rail on it. Thanks for the video.
I have the Rossi Rio Bravo 22lr with wood stock. it cost me 600 USD in my country. I'm under the impression that Henry delivers superb quality compared to the Rossi@@texaspatriot9159
And the how to repair videos are starting to get on TH-cam for these rifles. Less than 5 years old. Meanwhile, Marlins and Rossi's from 60 and 70 years ago are running flawlessly.
Havent had any issues with 6 Rossi rifles we own few years in. Also own vintage Winchester and Marlin. My Henry rifles have been good except for two that needed repairs after a year two. It happens. Im not going to stay awake at night over it. 😂 The price point of Rossi can’t be beat regardless. $2000 for a MaRlin .30-30, and $1,000 for a Rossi .30-30 The Rossi has been as good as my vintage Marlin.
@megatrends I saw a used Rossi 30-30 about 10 years ago, and it seemed like a very close copy of my 336. The action wasn't as tight, but I thought it was an acceptable alternative. Two years ago, I bought a synthetic Rio Bravo lever action, and the muzzle chipped out on my very first time shooting it. I am tempted to try again with a Gallery model, but only to compare it to my Remington Fieldmaster 572. I'm not attacking you personally, I know that there are only a finite number of Marlin 39a's and even fewer Remington Fieldmasters, and the Mossbergs and Rossis can get some pretty good cheap outdoor fun for folks. God knows that there is not enough of that going on.
@@pnotuner1 The new ones are as good as the vintage Marlins. You can check out a video I uploaded, shows in box, side by side with a vintage 70s Marlin and shooting video at the end albeit a brief one at 30 yrds and 100 yrds iron sights. th-cam.com/video/Ae1ADAWW2qo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=im10UQCOkKYclXSN

That's half the price of what we have to pay in Australia for a Rossi 22wmr.

You're very welcome, thank you for watching it! Greatly appreciated!
Great looking rifle
At least they put the import lawyer safety on as a crossbolt instead of that sissy little switch on the top bolt...!!
Yes, definitely better location for it!
