I have studied about if classes in grammar book.They have mentioned if you use past perfect in if classes the result should be
past tense of auxiliary verbs+have+past participle; in the ex, started with Terracotta warriors, if clause has been written in past perfect and the result has just had 'could +verb'..It is really a very good sentence and you are an excellent teacher.So please clarify the structure.

I am doing my dissertation and my supervisor said my syntax is a bit problematic... so I decided to look for some help. I have to say I am on 7mins in but I have learnt so much... at this point I am not sure how I got a B in English back in High school... not even sure how I got this far in uni

I THINK your second reason on the benefits of having an improved public transport system should be more specific by adding THE EFFECT OF IT for example. Here is my take on it: "Secondly, a good public transportation system would not only be more convenient to tourists but also to citizens in providing them options of mobility in local areas and tourists spots with less time and no traffic; thus this would be beneficial to both national economy and the tourism industry. " THE MAJOR REASONS WHY TOURISTS AVOID GOING TO A CERTAIN COUNTRY ARE TRAFFIC , TAXI SCAMMERS, AND THIEVES. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE THE MONEY, THEY'D PREFER TO SAVE MORE TIME AND ENJOY MORE ON THEIR TOUR ON A DESTINATION BY DIRECT PUBLIC TRANSPORT THAN PAYING MORE ON TAXIS OR EXPENSIVE PRIVATE TRANSPORT SYSTEM.

Hello Adam. Let me tell you I'm a big fan from you, I love your teaching methods, and I take some of them to my classes, I'm an English professor from Mexico, yesterday I did my OTCCC oxford certification for c2 , I got some Marks that I'm not prod of them. 85% Use of English 75% listening and 60% reading (idk why) but the problem is that my writing was terrible, I must have an inform based in charts, I have never written an inform even in my native language, I'd appreciate that you share a video where you show how to write an inform ... Thanks for your response. I have another question I am making many spelling mistakes during writing is this effects overall score significantly. I am watching your youtube videos, in one lesson you said one thing that is " read lot much as you can", this finally resulted in a great success.
Okay here is my take on the issue of spelling. I would recommend that as you write, do not edit your work. Finish writing your essay first, then come back and start editing. Take your time to edit. Go word for word. Use thesaurus if need be; to confirm the spelling of words.
And then when reading, note down the words that excite you. Over time, you will see your spelling mistakes reduce. Practice and believe in yourself.

Hey Adam,
I tend to take each paragraph with a new idea. Then create a topic sentence and elaborate. But at least all paragraphs must be related to the thesis statement. I think that when you use a thesis statement to guide your thinking, it is easier to have coherence. For cohesion that comes down to using transition word like Thus, therefore etc..what do you think?

I have a question about one of the example which says that "If I had not been to the museum of terracotta..... I could not even imagine the visually..." shouldn't it be "I could not have even imagined" ?
