    Thanks for making this, I had been very disappointed in LB on the RP2+ but it looks awesome on the Odin with the extra power.

      Yeah, I wish it has more features, but I've been pretty happy with it. I asked about beta in the LB Discord and they say it's more feature-rich, so I plan to upgrade to beta this week to try it out!

      @@RGGeek If you don't mind me asking: How many games are in your build, and how long are startup times for LB itself and what are your thoughts on the general speediness of it's navigation. Thanks

      @@boothman9321 I’d guess around 15,000 games. I’d guess it takes around 5 seconds to start up. Not terribly happy with that, but it’s so much better at other stuff that I can live with it. Hopefully they’ll speed it up in a future update though!

    How you get all those video games on your system ayn Odin pro?

  • @esmith13

    Hello, I have an odin Pro and a Launchbox license on PC and Android. I copied my Android export to tmy SD card (SD card is in portable storage mode) and launchbox can't access it due to read/write permission issues even tho Launchbox has the one and only storage permission it wants. May I ask how you worked around this? Does my SD card need to be formatted as "Internal Storage"? The Launchbox forums don't seem to have an answer for this issue.

    • @RGGeek
      @RGGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine just worked. Had no issues. Maybe try reinstalling it and trying again fresh? I have my card formatted as exFAT, not internal storage. You could also try the LaunchBox Discord although I haven't had any luck with that as I hear the devs don't even bother looking at it. :-/

    I can’t get RetroArch 64 to work with LB. Only core that works is genesis. Boots into RetroArch just fine, but any other core doesn’t work. Super frustrating.

    Now do Pegasus frontend and use the GameOS theme 😌🙏

    • @RGGeek
      @RGGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pegasus looks cool! I've already tried out Arc Browser, Dig and I believe I've finally settled on LaunchBox. Not really up for setting up yet another launcher, but I'd love to watch a video of someone else doing it. 😀

    Hey, i have downloaded Launchbox on my windows and want it on my odin pro, what folder does it go into? Thanks

    • @RGGeek
      @RGGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It doesn't matter what folder the APK file goes. Just run it and it'll install LaunchBox on your Odin.

    I am using launchbox on mine as well but I keep having issues with N64. The controller won't recognize if I launch N64 retroarch from launchbox. If I launch N64 in retroarch directly I have no issues.

    • @RGGeek
      @RGGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah yeah, I've only tried launching the M64Plus FZ app and that's always worked for me.

  • @Bostich
    @Bostich 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Whatever I try, it just launches retroarch in whatever menu I happen to be in, I can't make it just launch the game directly? Do I need to point Retroarch at the Launchbox file structure and also set it up in there or something?

    • @RGGeek
      @RGGeek  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh, I think you're not quitting RetroArch after each game. I recommend setting up something like pushing Select+Start to quit RetroArch. Then it should work properly with LaunchBox.
