Poison thunderclouds just synergizes better with the build IMO; mostly because it increases your chance to crit based on removing endurance thresholds. ( if anyone stacks endurance and you don't have this, you will have less crit). Its hard to tell because of normal attacks but fireball barrage applies somewhere close to 15x poison thunderclouds. It certainly applies more stacks than ice spear, but icespear applies them slightly faster because its cast time.
depends on the situation honestly. Pve Bosses- xbow/dagger PvE Grinding (contracts & pub dungeons) - Staff/Dagger Small scale - xbow / dagger 1v1 - staff dagger large scale - TBD after more siege but I'm leaning towards Staff/dagger or Longbow/Dagger
id say large scale goes to bow/dagger because it has the best aoe cc for large scale and can even push groups off cliffs where bosses or boons are. staff/dagger still performs well in large scale though. just like bow/dagger it can go invisible and attack backlines. i think large scale bow/dagger edges it out and then small scale staff/dagger edges it out.
@gabrielnobrega3098 you one hundred percent can siege with this build however i will say that on launch, my preferred siege setup will be longbow/dagger or staff/longbow. Longbow is by far the best weapon to main for siege
i will make the second bind (after ice bombardement) with ice tomb special skill. i wont waste skill points for chain damage - because this build is assasin. i also will remove that shadow strike from my bar it is useless for this bind build. but if i keep shadow strike: i will also need one close up dagger attack skill... at global start what blue gear do you recommend to make full trait +9 ?
I theorycraft a lot for the launch and I think most of the blue gear drop from open Dgs will be eazy to full trait, I think the only one I will use purple is the white robe from cave and the blue gloves from wasteland that give +Range
I think thats a good change for solo play, but you have to remember that in group play, staff has some of the best aoe dmg in the game. Might be best to have a separate spec to swap between solo pvp and group pvep. The ice tomb skill is really good when fighting tankier opponents because it lowers their defensives. Shadowstrike is to catch a running opponent and it also has a silence ontop of the bind. dont forget the silence is top tier when it lands. Also your lightning infusion counts as a dagger melee skill to followup after Shadowstrike so no need to slot another skill. Unless you want to trip(knock down). I have progression builds saved in the description for global launch also in my discord. These builds contain the blues and greens I aim go to go for if i roll this setup.
@@FatherBr I think it's best to aim your build around the purple chest piece thats free from the questline. Then, go and get your blue and greens fully traited. Some gear will be locked behind small milestones but once we get into ants public dungeon most of the gear in my progression build should be available to farm easily.

Is this still accurate with the recent patch notes changes.
it's still viable for the recent patch notes. However, you wont use toublek's staff, you would use talus staff for t1.
