Dude thank you so much for this video. I really want to know, what to do with staff/crossbow now after nerf
this build wasnt really affected by the nerfs; it should still work very well in PvP. the pve version might have slightly less dps but it should still be very much top tier
Interesting build,
I am curious of what the crossbow teamed with staff brings to your build that is more advantageous than the other weapons like dagger or bow etc.
The benefits of crossbow with staff is the boost to the projectile dmg.
Mother's nature protest buffs ALL Projectiles, meaning your staff skills gain added damage just for having the buff active.
The crossbow passives give you cooldown reduction upon applying weaken, which gives you excellent Cdr. Bonus damage from passives
lastly, the elemental synergy with xbow/staff. Xbow can attune any element and apply status effects needed to interact with staff skills.

@@Fuz2yman it boosts active skills that are classified as projectiles, yes.
The gale effect is more for AOE but I don't think its worth over burning damage. At the least, get the frost buff so that you can slow enemies in pvp.

This build's blue/green version would focus on Melee Evasion + Ranged Evasion. Dex main dps stat
You would still utilize the purple chest piece from the quest line. Everything else blue and green

@@zAlface hit does make a difference when fighting evasion builds. If you don't stack hit you wont be able to do any dmg to pure evasion stacking players.
do you need tocombo the skills or you can use any of those?
there is some synergy with the build yes.
High Focus + Lightning Infusion to full buff
Fireball barrage for fire stacks and increased heavy attack chance (for high hp opponents)
Highest damage skills -> Lightning Spear and Judgement lightning. Best to use these to either burst 1 combo a squishy target or use on a burning high hp target for increased heavy chance on judgement

Depends on the situation.
For pure dps glasscanon, the Staff crossbow may have higher dmg output potential, and it has more utility because of the cc break from xbow tree.
However, dagger staff has the advantage for stealthy kills and LARGE Crit numbers. This setup is for players that want more burst.
pve good ?
good pve damage but not as much as staff dagger.
