  • The bottom of my Kitchen Aid Refrigerator French door broke by the bottom right-side hinge point. This prevented the door from closing properly, as the door would drop due to the loose parts. There is not a part available to repair this, so rather than a new fridge door or new fridge, I fixed it with Bondo!

Had the same issue and this cemented my approach. I used the JB Weld Steelstik puffy which worked flawlessly in terms of ease of application and strength, but time will tell. Thanks bro.

That's great! I am not familar with Steelstik but sounds like it should work fine as well

I have this exact mode, and that exact issue right now
I'll give this a try. it's been a year, is it still holding?

I think it was originally stuck in there with expanding foam. wonder if that would work?

Yes, it's held up with no issues! I never even thought of using expanding foam, which is surprising cuz i love insulating haha. I think bondo is better in this application cuz it dries hard, but expanding foam would be an option.
