We dont have A's in my school but 86 above is the score to get an honnor and i always get 90 above while having alot of extra curriculars
duuudeee im taking honors/ap classes. My schedule consists of my theatre practice, debate team stuff, newspaper stuff, slam poetry sessions, film acting, and a lot of volunteer work. Not to mention my social stuff. Its a LOT (especially when you have depression/ocd lmao rip me ig)
I’ve been on honor role this whole year I was in sixth grade and I’m entering middle school but I had straight A’s and one B plus but my sister taught me how to add and subtract and some multiplication by the age of two and it really helped me

My favourite teacher would tell us when she about to erase the board and would wait if more than 3 people aren’t finished writing.
But oh my lord with other teachers-
They even pre-write it

Someone They would start talking while writing and will tell us to pay attention to what they’re saying while we’re trying to catch up with what she’s writing or what she showed on the board.

that was me in elementary&middle school, and now i’m confused every day and don’t know how to study. i rly recommend learning how to study properly and take notes while you don’t NEED to, because you’re not going to be an honors student forever.

If you are allowed bring a recorder to class. You can record your lessons and if you don’t get the notes down in time you will always have the lesson.

I'm that kid in class who always forget notebooks cause, I only bring 5, I decide if we will use it and most of the time if I bring it, we don't need it. I leave it at home, WE GONNA NEED IT.

You know how I get straight A's? I write everything important the teacher spouts from his/her mouth as fast as possible and try to add as much detail as possible. Aesthetics don't matter. Teachers grade content not cutesy handwriting. If they can read it your fine. Focus on content not aesthetics. For every minute you spend color coating you could be studying. If you need colors so your notes don't bore you fine, but in my opinion don't spend too much time on color coating. Although, I don't care much for aesthetics in my notes, I do support doodles because you could remember information from certain areas in your notes if you can remember the doodle you made there.
Ps. I'm sure there are several typos in this comment but my intention is to get the point across that cute notes do not get you A's. Focus on the information.
People just learn differently
The thing is, some people need more motivation to study and take notes than others, and color coding helps them single out information. Plus, reading a jumble of notes is hard to study from especially if you don't want to study in the first place.

@@hilalla9371 do what you love and know what you want to be in life!!!! My freshman year I had no clue what I wanted to be so I'm behind on all the classes I need for college. Work hard and keep a good GPA because it counts all through eleventh. Twelfth is just a final year to get the last of the classes you need. Keep away from drama as much as you can. I don't know how much class time I spent in the office because of stupid and petty drama. And don't give up on a set of classes that you love because of drama.

I would record what the teacher is doing for good grades but like sometimes the we have to turn in notes and I’m going into 7th grade and the 7th graders before me messed up with phones so we don’t get them again.

6th Grade- Me, not having phones cause students last year messed up

I’m in high school and I barely have time to write notes in the first place let alone using nice colors and fonts and stuff. Tbh, realistically, as long as you’re neat and organized it doesn’t really matter. We can just use a black pen from anywhere, even those free ones from offices and stuff and just write notes down.

Mxrå Trollż avid is a program that teaches you about organization and college/university life. My program takes me to college field trips and teaches us about gpa and you have to have good grades if not you can get kicked out. :P

this video actually turned out pretty helpful! i’m currently in a gifted and talented class at my school and it’s hard to keep up with everything and stay organized and neat at the same time. after searching through videos online, everything has helped me take notes nicely and now i have the right supplies to use.
