Here's an updated version on how i take my notes. Finals are right around the corner so I thought I’d share with you guys my tips & tricks! Hopefully this will help you guys out whether you’re in high school or college! Good luck studying!

insane how a 7th grader like myself can have so much homework and studying to do...
When I rewrite mine it helps with retention A TON. So it saves me study time overall. I know that isn’t true for everyone though.
A person that exists wait till high school then say you have a lot of homework lol, good luck though
It helps me a lot to remember the notes, especially when it comes to exams or tests.
You write your notes so nicely without lines.When I use black spaces my words immediately drag down

You could try dotted paper, it helps keep writing straight while still being good for drawing on.

as soon as you said you liked non-ruled paper, I instantly decided I was going to hate this. I didn't though, good job. Still not a convert because I definitely don't have time to rewrite all my lecture notes lol but good job
I totally understand! Everyone has different preferences. I actually use lined paper sometimes & I still use the same outline! but thanks for giving the video a chance :)

I think rewriting important parts of lecture notes into attractive looking or more colorful notes can be great for visual learners :)
Queen Rayna I agree. I find that I learn more when I re-write notes, and barely need to study them beyond that. Something about the whole process of organizing and rewriting it really makes the information sink in deeply, I've found.
Caviar Taste Tuna Budget I agree, I rarely “study-study” and it helps me so much due to the fast pace in my AP Classes. I really like the process of rewriting even if it’s lengthy because it makes the information sink into my brain

The teachers will just take your notebook while your still writing and then be like "Can I have everyone's attention?! This is how your notes should look, they are creative, colorful, organized, and clean. Please write your notes like this!" and you be looking at the teacher like "hold the hell on what is you doing" then everyone glares at you for giving them more work
This actually makes me excited to write down my notes. And I think I want to give it a try and buy a notebook like that!

This is actually going to help me to study and organize my notes, and I like the light/neutral colored highlighters, it is very less distracting, also this will help me study since organized notes = better study quality!

This helped a lot because before when I took notes I immediately turned my paper 50 degrees then I kept on turning it and it was a spiral of writing

This is so amazing. Also rewriting notes just means: Summerize the topic/main idea, Deaw steps and excamples (If you don’t refrigerate it MIGHT be messy and hard to find info if not organized.)

How often would you say it takes to write a page of your organised notes, bc I love making mine look good but I’m also a huge procrastinator and I get distracted easily so it’s hard to concentrate when one page takes me half an hour.

Your notes are so pretty! I'm the opposite of you though, my favourite paper to write on is actually graph paper because of how structured it is hahaha. To each their own, I guess :)

Is it okay if I try out your way of note taking? Because since I learned the original way of outlining with the Roman numerals, letters, and numbers. I’m trying to still look for how others take their outline notes differently.

thank you. I am a secondary student in sg and my note-taking is kinda similar to yours but I didn't know how to make it look neat. This has really helped me. The only difference is that i use lined paper as i can't write in straight lines without them
I thought your original notes on lined paper looked pretty organized haha🤷♀️
Oo wait a minute I think you are using the outline technique. Compared to how originally the outline looks they are organized by Roman numerals, letters, and numbers. Aside from these, everyone writes their notes differently even if it is an outline of their lecture notes.
When you re write them all a student needs is what you suggest in your video.
Also, I really like your voice. And I find it weird that I like listening to people’s voices. Usually I do not like listening to people who has calming voices not in a negative way. Because they make me sleepy. Lol
