    5:43 I'm sorry, what the actual hell is going on there? Since when did cavalry shove giant monsters around. I've heard of horsepower, but this is ridiculous.

      I think since the mass increase they can push smaller monsters around. It happened to my with eagles and manticores.

      Charging grail knights currently have skarbrand levels of mass on impact, that's why they can run over even braced heavy infantry and push around monsters under 3000 mass. If you want to stop them on a charge you either need something HUGE like a giant or stack your units so they lose momentum pushing through (It still tales maybe 3 units stacked to pause a grail knight charge).
      They do need a nerf, even the most powerful knight is still only a knight. He's not suppose to be able to charge into chaos chosen and coming out the other end as an example of what they can currently do.

      @@iforgotmyname1669 This isn't quite accurate, their mass values aren't particularly high the issue is they just keep charging rather than starting to launch attacks, hence the hero doesn't take damage while he's being pushed around. It's another impact of the bugged unit size change which causes Grail Knights to behave like chariots rather than cavalry. They don't try and make attacks and instead try and push directly through units.

    Just for you guys wondering, CA changed the real size of the Bret's grails in the battle, which is a hided stat, now their real sizes in the game are like the monster infantries (large), while the other cavs are medium. This is the real stuff that makes them look so OP. Anybody has an info that CA would change it back? Because this is ridiculous.

    I sometimes feel bad for you Totalwar warhammer TH-camrs. I will ALWAYS have to take a couple months off in between playing since CA release content so randomly with huge wait periods included.
    I just couldn't imagine having to stream this game almost consistently without a couple months break.
    If CA released updates and content more regularly, sure. Otherwise, HECK NO!!!

    pretty obvious what the breton player was thinking, purely banking on the overpowered status of grail knights and got punished by someone who expected it

    I haven’t played Warhammer III, but what is making Bretonnia so OP now in this game, just curious? They were not that strong in Warhammer II

      Their cav got buffed in the latest patch. They all move, accelerate and decelerate faster. If they had bonus vs large or were armor piercing those stats also got buffed.

      @@13g0man Also their mass was increased so they can push trough infantry like its not even there. Not just chaff, but even elite, armored infantry.

      @@Debilinside Issue isn't actually mass, it's a unit behavior thing. CA changed the unit classification from medium to large which results in grail knights behaving like chariots. The result is instead of stopping to make attacks like all other cavalry (other bret cavalry have the same speed and almost identical mass but don't slip past infantry) they just keep trying to charge forward and push through infantry which results in them running through even braced halberds.

      Cavalry changes but also changing units to be either Knights or Peasants, as opposed to peasants being expendable before, this means Peasants have lost some leadership but gain leadership when a knight unit is near, also now Grail Reliquary give melee attack and leadership to nearby peasant units, so most Bretonnian infantry do more than before and foot squires can actually win against elite infantry some of the time.

    Maybe chorfs should have taken a couple of bull centaur heroes and used those as bait for flaims of Azgor?

    Yeah, stuff like intensity while in-combat should have a cap of 3-5 minutes to fully charge. If it can't be charged in a land battle like this (where it was in combat the entire time and the fight was about average length), then the balance is off.

    All of the Intensity based abilities on the chorfs at least from my perspective in campaign are just dogwater. Especially the Armor of Gazrakh.
