It's been 3 months I've been using it, works perfectly only the issues I came across is heating, battery drain and a little bit of throttling. Rather go for s23 only if you are a heavy user.
Same, it's been 3 months and I'm facing the same issues except for the heating. I'm a average phone user. I'm not addicted to my phone so the battery is enough for me but if you sit on your phone all day, you may want to consider the s23.
For those have battery issue, I suggest you to turn on the feature called "protect battery", it'll keep your battery life very long and healthy by stop the charge at 85%.
unfortunately that's only a myth and you're not doing it right you should be keeping your battery life between 20%-70% anything more or less will damage it not samsungs optimised battery cap
My S22 drains the battery without me even using it. I went to the gym and not touched the phone for 2h and it drained 10%. Every night I charge it before sleep and in the morning I always have 97% with energy saving on (without it can go as low as 92%). Not a bad phone, but battery really sucks.
That's not normal. After 2 hours standby, I have about 1% drainz 2 max. It might be the apps you have installed, or maybe the battery is wrecked. Luckily my phone was pretty new, so it could just be the battery
Go into Settings and Permissions and turn off everything that does not need to be on. I don't let my phone(s) auto update anything. I don't need to know whenever I get an email. I know how to open the apps. The only time my phone makes a sound is when a call or text comes in and when I'm playing a game or music.
Using it since august 2022, im really happy with the size of the phone, the design, the screen, the cameras, maybe only the battery could be bettet but for me its doing the job... i recharge once maybe two times in one day for me its not a problem honestly.. i will use it for another year for sute without thinking about s24, maybe i will go with S25 in 2025 :-)
Been using it for 1.5 years, I don't like it much anymore due to heating, throttling and battery life. Looking to upgrade it with s24 lineup or the z fold
It gets warm when you live on a tropical country like I do. 100% traveling wifi off, airplane mode on, not using the phone and just checking the time, aod off and 30 minutes after it went to 97% with a 3% decrease without even using the phone for 5 minutes
I have this for about 8 months now, and this is the best decision i made over buying Iphone 13. Its just that the issue is with the battery life. For my use case battery life is shit. I have to keep my phone on battery saver for the whole day, and when it comes to a day when i have a heavy use, like photography just continous use then this phone comes down to be the worst. I have to carry a backup phone with which i generally charge it.
@loki2590 it depends which app you use actually. i m also using s22 for 3 months. i dont recommend using it for a long time while it is charging. i don't play any games but if you do, it will get hot probably in 30 minutes
The only people concerned about the battery are the ones that play video games and watch movies in high brightness. Other than that I don't personally face any issues with the battery, it lasting me a whole day is normal. So nah there's no problem the battery, people don't understand the concept of small phones. Other than that any other crying, is bullshit.
S22 was the first android phone I got after being an iPhone user. S22 has a shit battery, android UI is glitchy, and gets pretty hot. Only good thing is the camera. Gonna switch back to iPhone probably.
Ive owned S22 for 2 years. Good screen quality, good cameras, smooth to use, fast functions, but I cant get a full 8 hours unless i keep dark mode and power saving on. Cant enjoy the flagship features bc battery sucks. Am waiting for the S25 to upgrade.

Hi... I'm planning to buy s23.. do you ever feel that the camera quality of s22 has been decreased by usage... does camera quality will be decreased or not..
In my experience, most smartphone cameras get better in time as they work out possible bugs and stuff with software updates. So no worries, it definitely won’t get worse 🙂
I really don't know where all these reviews are coming about this phone. Having a bad battery in life when Samsung has been notorious for having bad battery life on all of their mainland phones for years, it's nothing new. You can go back as far as the S5. It had bad battery life. The S9 had bad battery life. I remember the S10 even having bad battery life. This is nothing new guys
bad battery bad photos in motion and nightwith shutter lag and more noise. And samsung not improve photos in updates - samsung delete quality in s22 and s23 series after update
No way, far from perfect. The Galaxy s9 was the last perfect phone Samsung made. The s22's achilles heel? - the fingerprint sensor. It sucks. A slightly lesser problem, but still noticeable... Vibration on the s22 is pathetically weak. I miss my s9, but it was time to say goodbye. The s22 does a reasonable job of making it feel like I still have an s9, but it's absolutely a downgrade.
This phone takes breathtaking photos, seriously sunsets and night outs have never looked so good. It's also shockingly lightweight, like it was designed for my hand. But let's be real, life happens and scratches are the enemy of a sleek phone. Enter my secret weapon: a gadgetshieldz TPU shield for both the screen and body. It's practically invisible, so it feels like the phone itself, but keeps those annoying nicks and scratches at bay. Now I can adventure with my S22 without a single worry!
Coming into 2024 i own this phone, but thinking of getting the i phone 14 better operating system the downside of Android too much drag,i phone possess a better operating system 2 any Android...sorry...
