  • In this video Travis shows you why routing to remote networks is so important, and how networks would fail without the appropriate configurations. He troubleshoots common routing issues and explains why error such as destination host unreachable and ping time outs may occur based upon different routing issues. He also demonstrates where the issues occur and what each device is doing with packets that may have unknown destinations at different steps in the path.
    He also, show's you how to configure static routes to remote networks using Cisco's CLI and Packet Tracer 8.
    Finally he verifies the configured routes are active and working by sending traffic across the network in both directions!

    im not understanding how the dsl modem pt and the cloud pt and modem 4 got in here??

      they were simply added in to represent the internet.. I did no configs and I will do another video about setting that side of the network
