Re: the folder creation macro: There's a piece of software called Post Haste that can create a project folder structure, complete with whatever template project files or any other files for whatever software you'd need in addition to just folders. You could likely get it to run through a macro, too, though not 100% on it. Not necessary for every circumstance or workflow, but figured I'd mention it as an additional QoL thing for project initialization.
Thank you so much for sharing this I'm definitely going to look into it as sometimes the macro fails due to me clicking out of the folder and that kind of stuff, activating a piece of software via the macropod might be a better solution!
This is still a brilliant project and got me thinking. I don’t have a loopdeck but I do have the original StreamDeck. I’ve got a couple of camlinks but now I’ve got a Sony A6700 I think I can connect straight into the camera via type c. I love your NVME idea though, think I need to save some pennies to get them. I’ve just found a Contor Shuttle Express which could give me the wheel like your loopdeck. I have way too many projects already, but I think you’ve just made me want to add another for my Final Cut editing!
That sounds brilliant! using a stream deck in combination with the shuttle express sounds really great, this way you could make it more ergonomic than the loupdeck CT! I definitely recommend trying something like this it allows you to explore new ways of editing which speeds up the workflow quite a lot, best of luck with the project and thank you for the support!
Which ssd drives are those and do you hope to later add an audio jacks at the front for headphones and maybe SD or cf card for ease of access. Otherwise am digging the direction of your concept
Hey! here is the link for the profiles drive.google.com/drive/folders/12Ix7CCAj_Z0phbnFoxWT7FvL7ASNkYsi?usp=sharing Let me know if you saw this message! :)
@Flatface5000 Definitely! I made one for the Stream Deck once as well, and you can also just use standalone macro software. I can’t quite remember which one I used for that. (NobieTube12 also pointed out in this comment section that there's a piece of software out there that seems far more advanced than using the macro. I haven't checked it out yet, but it might be worth looking into.) (Perhaps you already understand this next section, but I thought I'd write it out just in case.) Basically, the macro works like this: It uses a keyboard shortcut-like Shift + N-to create a new folder, then inserts a 300ms delay before typing the text you want. After that, it hits enter, and the process starts again. I'm not sure if the keyboard shortcuts I'm mentioning are accurate, but it’s quite easy to figure out. I hope this helps! :)
I don't have any use of this device. But I really like the work you put into it. Nice design. Well produced. Fun to watch
haha Im glad you enjoyed it!

Now that's crazy. I love my LoupeDeck CT, but at the moment, Logitech got to get themseselves together and release new functionality and upgrades.
I just bought mine. What do you wish Logitech would add
Very nice work
2:55 can you give us a file or something for that?
Any chance you can upload the profile you created for the Loupedeck?
Putting this on my calendar for tomorrow morning, ill let you know once its uploaded

@@FlatLanderTech thanks!
What type of external ssd is that?
Can you do that macro without a Loupedeck? I love file management that makes the workflow easier
