    What is the function of the table and the name?

    Hello Niels, I popped in for a boring comparison of Loupedeck products, and was pleased to see a unique, entertaining video. Even with three Loupedecks and a tablet at your workstation, it must have taken you a crazy amount of time from start to post to make this video. I also enjoyed the tangent off to the Dutch word/food scene. (What's the Dutch word for "bellybutton"?) So tell one of the Loupedeckers to give you an affiliate link to compensate you for all the time you put in, and let them know to save me the CT model. Why the CT, for no other reason than the big, old school, rheostat knob. Great video, thanks.

    Niels, that was very helpful in my decision process. I have decided to go for the CT model -- expensive, but for my purposes, it makes the most sense. My wife and I travel a lot, and have been to Amsterdam several times in the last few years. We loved the canal tours, the Albert Cuyp Market (poffertjes, stroopwafels, maatjesharing, etc.), and of course the Rijksmuseum. Schiphol was an absolute zoo, though -- I hope that has improved! I enjoyed the Dutch lesson you gave -- keep them coming! Tot straks!

    Thanks for comparing these! I've been an avid user of the Loupedeck+ in Lightroom for many years now, but have been wondering whether their newer stuff might add something for me. It's clear to me now that it probably won't for me, mainly because I only need it in Lightroom.
    I must say the Loupedeck+ did help me try a lot of new things in my photo editing, simply because it maps some sliders I never touched before. I might have started using these otherwise as well though... who is to tell?
    Very important to me is the "organic" physicality of the Loupedeck+, which enables muscle memory to kick in. The buttons are ergonomically spaced which makes them very easy to find without looking at the device. During editing I find myself looking at the image much more than at the device or at the actual sliders in Lightroom as I did before.
    Needless to say I'm a fan.

      I understand Wim, a digital slider is much easier to neglect than a physical dial. With the Loupedeck+ editing images is a lot more fun 😎

    Hello, is there any chance to avoid zooming on picture while using dials assigned to other controls (contrast, clarity etc.)... Whenever I turn any dial it zooms, in the end all dials are useless then... I am really disappointed so far :( I have now both Loupedeck CT and +, and both of them are doing the same zooming thing in PS and Camera Raw...

    • @NielsdeKemp
      @NielsdeKemp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the loupedeck console software you van customize everything and reset all dials do their original settings. So you could fix it there! Also be sure to update to the latest firmware. Hope this helps!

    Ha Niels, het ziet er allemaal reuze handig uit .... hoe lang duurt het ongeveer om er een beetje handigheid in te krijgen met de loupedeck apparatuur? (zeg maar, heb je binnen een dag de handigheid een beetje opgepikt of is er meer tijd voor nodig😀)

      Voor fotografie gaat het echt snel en intuïtief, video editing is wat complexer en dat kost iets meer tijd. Het fijne is dat de knoppen goed weergeven welke functie ze bedienen. Aanrader!

    I'm taking notes for myself here. I hope you don't mind. I'm talking to the you in the video who produced this dreadful direction style. It's not a criticism of the content, your effort, your personal worth. Just (less) the set and lighting and visible plumbing (more) the scene blocking and camera angles. I know you don't know what the hell I'm talking about - neither did I 24 hours ago - :) Internet speed.
    Actually I studied cinema story telling for 15-20 years, was a professional student photographer for a couple years, but never crossed over to actual movie production. Times are ripe for new stories.
    So (person on my screen) why are you setting up rigid camera angles in the first place? Why are you abrogating camera motion entirely (like it's a bad thing?) I am especially fond of Cinema Verite' and French Auteurs and constant camera motion is basic basic.) SO - why aren't you hand holding your camera? You should be using very basic blocking (camera angles and shots) showing clear establishing shots for each scene and not varying from that "blocking" until the next movement that the camera "follows". Just learning here and talking out loud. I may be back.

    Yes, you have a lot of flash and nice camera angles and transitions. However, you need to work on the content. I could not tell you after watching this video how this product works or how it will benefit me, other than your own opinion. Please be more specific and less flashy.

    Buyer be aware, they dont mention straight out that the Loupedeck only works on Lightroom Classic, none of the older version works, in otherwords, you need to pay a subscription fee each month for Adobe Lightroom in order to utilise the Plus, of course, if you are using or intending to use LR Classic, this wouldn't be a problem. BUT if you have been using LR 5 or 6 for the longest time and you cant find to reason to upgrade to LR Classic, this Loupedeck Plus DOESNT WORK, AND IT SHOULD STATE CLEARLY ON THE PACKAGING!!

    You didn’t compare anything. You just presented and said which one you prefer and which one you’d choose for what job. But you didn’t motivate those decision and explain why. I still don’t know which one to chose honestly between the + and the CT. The production is kinda well done but don’t try to hard with the camera and angle switching, it is just a review. Too beautiful but shallow. I lost 8 minutes. Purchase decision = zero. This topic should have 15/20’minutes long. Good luck.
