Those guys are dipshits if they actually wanted the place to get a good score. You set expectations low so he is surprised and goes higher. Thing is people take it too seriously, like it's scientific facts or something. It's Dave's scale and he's clearly bias on the styles he likes. Preference is huge is the pizza game and always will be.

There's also the fact that his grades are often easily influenced based on if he's being watched and how hungry he is at the time among many other irrelevant things. Ever wonder why most of his pizza scores are in the 7's? It's because it's pizza, it can only be _so_ different in taste. He's an entertainer, not a pizza expert.

Our pizza tonight at The Galley did not disappoint! Excellent pizza. Their pizza is an 8.2...not a 7.9 Not greasy, great "under carriage", and holds it's crisp well into plenty of slices of the pie.

If 8-8.9 is a 2 hour car ride, 9-9.9 is day trip-worthy, 10 is booking-your-vacation-in-a-certain-city-just-to-eat-the-pizza quality, then 7-7.9 should be worthy of a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride just to get one. The score is very fair.
