As a resident of South Jersey I appreciate Dave coming down to check out all the great Pizza south of Trenton. He’s a class guy to take the time for pics and to talk to the locals. Dave as Harry the K once say “…you are the man!”

I’m north of Boston and we have “beach pizza” there’s 2 competing places too! It’s square pizza, 1 has a sweet sauce, the other is a savory sauce and it has minimal cheese on it so you order extra cheese and it’s a slice of provolone! Your buddy’s dad sounds like he makes the same style!

Mark is the name of the Baker (The Muffin man)across from Pete's Pizza awesome guy excellent deals in his Bakery and a great salesman when it comes to selling his products. You hit the nail on the head on this one because I agree that Pete's Pizza is better than Kate and Al's Pizza I do believe Pete's Pizza does have a little bit more sugar in the sauce that's what makes the slight difference besides being hot because the pizza is excellent hot on both ends of the market.
One other thing there is the Amish place next door that sells the absolute best garlic powder that you can ever imagine it's homemade and for adding it to either Pete's Pizza or Kate and Al's Pizza really sets it to a new level. I use that powdered garlic with a lot of things I cook at home and I have not found any garlic that has a true flavor than that garlic that they sell at the Amish place.
Man, seeing that Flea Market makes me miss the Route 1 Flea market in NJ. Closed when I was a kid, but I had such a good time there when we went on the weekends. You can actually see what it looked like since it was in the movie Mallrats
I have watched so many of these reviews that I can predict the exact score Dave is going to give at this point.😂 my friend just looked at me like I was a madman because I said 7.8 before Dave even said it.
We normally bring, Pete's home and stick it in the oven to crisp it up. Changes the flavor entirely. I would agree, without that step, it's a 7.8. After that step, it's in the 8's.
And they will half cook the pies so you can finish them in your oven at home at least they used to do that or just request them to be a little bit crispier
