At half a meter longer I don't consider the eNiro a direct competitor, this is lots bigger. The Kia is also FWD only and can cannot tow. The ID4 challenges the currently more expensive Model Y, I think. They are the same size and similar range, but ModelY can tow more and has better performance.
Perhaps, but trouble with the EV market currently is the lack of competition in some segments means vehicles that aren't really directly competing end up being compared to one another. The Model Y is more expensive and, crucially, it's not out in the UK yet and it looks like the ID4 will beat it to UK shores.

@@SmartHomeCharge Agreed, and same here in Sweden. But since eNiro can't tow I don't consider it. It's more the ID4 or the Model 3 in that case. Then the price is also more similar for the entry models.
Looks good to me.I'd say it's a winner..just a bit on the expensive side!
We agree. Going to be popular. It's fair to say EVs are generally more expensive to buy, but manufacturers are also choosing to launch premium electric SUVs in a lot of cases (like the ID4), so that keeps prices higher than they perhaps need to be. We should see cheaper, smaller EVs on the way, such as the Fiat 500 electric which should start to drive down list prices.
