A PHEV Sienna has actually been confirmed?? I have been following closely and haven’t heard anything about Toyota using the RAV4 Prime technology on Sienna. I would LOVE it if they did though!! I had a 2021 RAV4 Prime and loved it, but sadly it was just too small for my family so we traded it for a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica PHEV. While we like our Pacifica, I wish it had more EV range (max I’ve gotten is 38) like my RAV4 did (I averaged 50 miles on a full charge). Biggest concern I have is the long term reliability of the Pacifica. I just don’t think it’s going to last. I’m at 22k miles and hoping to trade it before 45k. It’s already depreciated a huge amount in 15 months of ownership. We paid $47k and KBB is around $28k now!! 😬😬😬

This is the second video I've seen taking about a 2025 plug-in version. I so so so want it to be true! My local Toyota dealership said they've received the costs for standard (hybrid) 2025 Siennas but no plug-in models were listed. They are going to look into it and said they hope to have an answer on Monday.
I feel like Toyota would have announced this by now.

Most telling: this press release (the only one for 2025 so far) has a TON of details but you won't find the word "plug" anywhere on the page.

Do all 3 middle seats come out now in the upgraded trim level? Or just the middle of the 3 middle seats? It'd be good to show that in the video. For the commentors that said a mid cycle update (refresh), will the 3 middle seats removal happen then, or at the 2 year serious upgrade point?

Our family used to do that on the Sienna we had, it was very useful to be able to do so.
Sometimes we just left the middle row out and had the back seats up for seating if needed.
All clean inside, you can put an air bed and have a mini-RV camping setup.

Very nice van but exterior design is still very ugly

Upper trim levels have heaver seats due to all of the electronics within the seats. They are ottoman style, and they are heavier. Why is there a need to remove the seats? Purchase a flat bed truck if you dont want 2nd row seats in your vehicle. Everyone has their needs, but like I said, the upper trim levels have heavier seats due to all of the electrical mechanism within the electronic seats.

Just because you do not need it, does not mean other people do not have a valid need for it.
This feature is commonly asked for.

    Is it official?

No, they’re not redesigning it this year. Next year it’s getting a mid cycle update and then 2 years after it’s getting a serious upgrade

@@Broman400 Do you know when the 3 middle seats will be able to be removed? Hopefully in the mid cycle update, and not having to wait 2 years for the serious upgrade ?

Well some people need the van for transport of a power wheel chair for ADA in place of the 3rd row seat with a power lift for the chair and want the 2nd row seats to be removable to carry larger items when desired, like picking things up at a lumberyard or furniture. We don’t want a pickup truck or to buy another vehicle. The Honda van seats are removable and also very sturdy. If Toyota does not offer that then I am not buying a Toyota. Waiting patiently for Honda’s Hybrid van
