That Aristocrat looks great Dave! Nice looking shave buddy. Have a good weekend and thanks for sharing!!
@@okieshaver997 Thanks Buddy and hope your weekend is good 👍
Great shave gear, if I do say so! That soap scent sounds awesome and like that Birch + Root, I'd want to eat it!!
@@ericjohnson7854 Thanks Eric and hope you're well 👍
Backroads Gold does a great job and that Aristocrat looks awesome. For myself I don't jump around too much with blades, just using the main three works until maybe those aren't available. Every once and awhile I'll break out a Personna 74 to do something different and that blade lasts forever-lol! I was just working on a stand for my Leszy which is a little tree stump. I needed something so it wasn't just laying on the counter and will probably help it getting a nice even patina. Well, back to work, I've got three adapters to do this weekend along with a big list of other things. Have a great weekend Dave!
@@lastshadow9351 Thanks Ian. You do great work. Email me a pic of the stand when done. Love to see it 👍
@@daveinky Will do, that will also give you a look at the razor!
Nice shave Dave
I recently picked up the old school by moon soaps. It is something, have you tried one ?
@@okiedokie_cool I don't think I've tried any Moon soaps. So many makers out there. How do you like it's base and scent ?
@@daveinkythey apparently make their own proprietary tallow - coming from a line or family of butchers. So, the tallow feels different. The scent note of old school is deep leathery scaly mahogany with just a touch of sweetness which comes off in the second pass (to my nose). The base itself is quite brilliant. It starts off unconventionally and then erupts into a very creamy sticky lather that can continue to absorb a lot of hydration (always a good sign for me).
