For makers the movie should generate money. And that's exactly why you were forced to change dialogue as per hero's demand. Coz he's the one who's bringing audience to the theater. Sexist? Yes. Unfair? Yes. But the day you can bring same level of audience to the theater, they will fall in line. Secondly, Taapsee you're an okay actor. I watched Badla. It was a difficult watch for me. It was a scene by scene faithful remake. But you lacked emotion and it was boring to watch your performance. Work on your acting skills. I am no actor. But I understand when a performance feels natural and authentic.

If it's a movie like Dhoom 3, you won't know its not a good movie from outside. By the time, you realize, you have already paid and you're watching it. Then you have 15% who are genuinely movie lovers who don't mind who's acting; as long as they find it interesting, they will watch it. Rest 5% either won't watch or wait for online release 🤷🏻♀️ Audience make the movie hit or flop. It's not patriarchy. It's all about who you love watching on screen!
