Alastair McDowell takes a whipper on Los Indignados

This should be a strong contender for the 'weekend whipper' award. This was Alastair's second attempt and ended abruptly. After breaking an ice axe pick on his first round, Alastair got straight back on with Lionel's ice tools and gave it everything.
This is the week of climbing in the lead up to the annual Remarkables Ice and Mixed Festival 2017, New Zealand's largest gathering of Ice Climbers.
And just for the record, nothing was broken save for some gear and pride.
