- Hey all! In this video we take a look at Xenia, the best Xbox360 emulator for PC. Currently it is only working with windows. At a high level, the MASTER version is the main go-to version to use. The CANARY version is the forked development / experimental version that might work better with certain games / hardware.

I'm so glad I found this. Now I can enjoy and stream all my old games without digging them out of storage. I was having major issues with the steam version of TR:Legend and it's hate of ALT+TAB leading to crashing, but now Xenia may be the way I will have to go. MANY thanks for making this easy and clear to understand!
how can you play without a disk? u log into xbox live and download lke on xbox?

imo this is better than the others emulators with bios and UI or whatever it's called lol so easy

@@joezep yeah, currently playing Red Dead Undead Nightmare DLC with no problems and 50-60 fps (except for cities that lowers to even 30 fps but perfectly playable). When I end it I'll play Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts also. Those were the two Xbox 360 games I most wanted to play, feels nice to play them without an xbox (my old xbox got broken a long time ago)
@@paquito4147 That's not bad at all! Yeah with the 360 being a bit tricky to mod, emulations options like this are great to get a chance to play titles from the console. Sorry to hear about your old console, but I am glad you're enjoying and thanks again for the info. :)

Really well done tutorial, super clear and the pacing is perfect! I only just found out about xenia and am new to emulators, so I never would have known all the extra stuff about the portable file and Canary or editing files etc. This has really helped me actually kind of know what I'm doing a bit!
I'm so glad you don't go off on pointless tangents every few seconds and take up half the video with an introduction like everyone else seems to do.
Though just a question, if you're running from a disc can you chuck it right in the disc tray and play or do you have to extract an ISO from it?

Great video! I really wanted to find an Xbox 360 emulator 'cause Saints Row 1 is exclusive and Saints Row 2 has become unplayable on PC.
Btw, completely unrelated and I know no one asked but "sujano" in brazillian portuguese is a slang form of the verb "sujando", which means "getting something dirty", same as "dirtying" in the present continuous. Hope this info doesn't spoil the name for you. No pun intended lol

Is it only discs that work with this? I had RDR on PS3 but would love to replay it. Could I get the iso for it online? I tried recently but kept getting asked for a key.

I got my uncle a modded 1 hand xbox one controller however he can't use it for other older consoles. But even if he can't play my original copies, he can play them via emulators. Fingers crossed his machine can handle this thing though.
Great tutorial ! I run UFC 3, it loads fast, great intro, all good, sound and music perfectly emulated, everything perfect in roaster player selection e.t.c. but once you start the match and you are in-game, the main image is black (not showing the fighters the cage, the surroundings e.t.c.), it only shows the messages at the bottom of the screen, the tips, tutorials e.t.c. Any ideas ?
Update : In the configuration file, change the setting gpu_allow_invalid_fetch from FALSE to TRUE and problem solved ! UFC 3 emulated totaly perfect on Windows 11 !
Note I had to make a Folder file called "Content" not a .text file.
Disclaimer: not sure if i my way correct but it worked for me.

ahhh and my friend told me my dedicated 8TB hard drive for 360 ISOs was a waste. RIP xbox 360 Iso and the rest of the iso network. will never be forgotten.

What if for the first few minutes of the game it works but you don't get passed the press start menu. Like the file is basically from the disc itself. it just doesn't go pass that.

Good video. I just copied a couple games from my 360, and and they work kind of, but how do I import my save files? Where do I put them?
@EVERYTHING I was using an Xbox One controller, but a 360 controller should work fine, a wired one unless you have the adapter.
Im loving this so far, my only small issue is that of screen tearing. Anyone have a fix? Ive tried turning off/on vsync but that dosent seem to help. I am displaying it on my tv which is 120hz, but havent tried on my pc monitor with has gsync and 244hz.
So where exactly do I enter my screen dimensions so that I can have full screen?
What about audio playing back too fast, or in-game characters talking fast and then repeating the last few words they say? Can you help with a setting for that? Thx!!

do you know if theres a fix for the screen being black once the games loaded up? it was working until i loaded into a race, all of the hud was visible but thats it.

For long term playability, is it better to use Master or Canary? I've noticed playing the same game with either creates different save files. Is there a way to use either Master or Canary on the same game save file to see any differences?
I've noticed other tutorials show to create a Folder named "Portable.txt" while your tutorial shows to create a Notepad document named "Portable.txt." Is there is difference? What is the use for Portable.txt?
One thing i didnt get is?.. where do i go to set my controller?
i opened xenia and did no get that folder or the config one what do i do?
I’m having an issue where on the normal version it asks me to sign into Xbox account when I say yes the game gets stuck in a state if I say no it will allow me to create a new alias but when I do that the game will get stuck in the canary version it will save my alias i created but when I play game it will get stuck so idk what to do

why cant i find the config part
I'd love to have a high end PC to emulate a couple Xb and 360 games, the fact that I only liked a handful of exclusives for those systems made me decide to ignore them and wait for possible ports, but that never happened.
The official recommended specs are 4th gen i5 or i7 quad with gt 950 and 6gb of ram. So if it says playable in the compatibility list it means playable from start to finish with those specs. A pc with those specs can be found cheaper than a new xbox or ps5.
Is there a way to save your settings for a specific game? Or would I have to copy the application and reconfigure the settings for games that aren't working until reconfiguring.

Anyone have a fix for my game running very slowly? Playing blitz the league 2 and it’s going in slow motion basically. Was wondering if any of the confit changes could help fix this problem

Mr. Sujano. Any way to bypass the "need to login to xbox live to be able to save?" This is present in Naughty Bear.. I found a video showing how to create a profile for xenia, but in the comment section, it said this method doesn't work anymore.

Thanks for the clear video. I have a question. I downloaded the iso for diablo 3 and in the config file I have the language set to 1 (English). But the game loads up in I think Spanish or something similar and I can't seem te set the language to English in any way.

how do you start a freaking game. You jump from config file to playing virtua fighter, but what did you do inbetween? I open xenia and then open the iso file but all i get is a white screen and no obvious options on how to start it or do anything.

I get sound but only a black screen? I heard it may be something with the shaders zeroing so I changed the gpu_allow_invalid_fetch_constants either false or true and that didn't do anything. any suggestions? I have intel integrated 520 graphics but I play Cemu Breath of the wild on here nicely. tried using just vulkan but then it just closes I have vulkan 1.0.66 is that why should I update it?
