Custom cotton mattress bed in my Jeep Meridian | Mattress cover with zipper | Preparing for camping

Finally, I have prepared my Meridian for a riverside or forest camping.
I had measured the boot in the Meridian after completely folding the 2nd and 3rd row seats. The space is 72"x 40". Then, I got a custom made mattress of 2" thickness which can be easily folded as per the available space, if either of the 2nd or 3rd row seats are placed upright.
I ordered a brown coloured mattress cover from Amazon, to match the trim colour in Meridian. The closest size available was 72"x36" for a 6" thick mattress. The mattress cover has a zipper.
It was easy to put the mattress inside the cover, and it was a snug fit.
After that, I was good to go. With 2nd row seats upright, I can just keep the mattress in the boot with a single fold. With both 2nd and 3rd row folded, it becomes a completely flat bed that can accommodate two six footers. Even with one of the 2nd row seats split folded, the mattress can be adjusted as per the space to let my daughter comfortably play and lie down on a short road trip.

I am having Jeep for last 2yrs and had 3 services and two body work. So far, I have no complaints. They are good and quite professional. But things differ from dealer to dealer and from one city to another. I am from Raipur and my dealer is Car Planet FCA Raipur.
