Great vid pal,I've got a DL650 2014 with only 6k on the clock I do all my own servicing and I love the bike feels like it will never let me down unlike some costing 3x as much..subbed.
Nice review and bike. I’ve got my eye on an ‘07 with 25k miles on it, but I’m concerned about the size and weight as my last bike was a SFV650. How do you find the bike handles around town and at slower speeds? I’d hate to drop it and have to get it back upright. The 1000 seems like a much more comfortable tourer, though, especially for the occasional two-up trip.
The bike is quite heavy but feels really light when riding, i have a t.r.e fitted so riding around town at slow speeds is not a problem for me. As for comfort, I could ride all day without pain and two up Mrs Hof is so comfy she quite often nods off on the back!
Aclítico, escróbago for the new ascrow😊😊😊

Thank you, the V Strom in my opinion is a great bike, 1st gen to the latest, thanks for the sub too, much appreciated.
Great rewiew! I have Vstrom 1000 2007 for about 2 months and I love it, comfort, speed everything! I hope to make many km with the bike! 👍
Thank you, hope you have as many trouble free miles as I have had
@@M_T_Motorbike_Travels I hope so!
That's a lot of miles, great bike, thanks for sharing
It is, I'm hoping for more trouble free miles ahead.
I like this bike but the handlebar should be more next to the rider. I spoke with my mechanic and he said that it is possible to do that.
You can fit bar risers, but i don't have a problem with the handle bars, I find the riding position fine even when standing

@@M_T_Motorbike_Travels Thank you for the response! What’s a TRE? I guess if your wife is nodding off, you must be a very smooth, safe rider! 😃👍🏻
Timing retard eliminator it smooths the bike and enables you to ride at low revs and also use 6th gear at slower speeds than 70mph
Have you checked the valves?
Yes, and didn't need any adjustment
Where did you get the headlight cover?
