"He can dance", yes, well, Jhope is the main dancer and the dance leader of BTS haha. The members always follow his guidance for their performances.
Yeah, when he said that I thought about how their minds would be blown if they watch some of the Hope on the Street videos.
That's true. I mean Jimin and JK are awesome dancers, but somehow even people within the fandom put Hobi's skills aside, when he is the best dancer in the group and even his colleagues insist on it. I dare to say, he's probably among the best idols of his generation (personal opinion).
j-hope has great dance credentials. He was an underground hip hop/street dancer who even won national dance competition in 2008 with his crew Neuron. (btw his crew Neuron was mention in this song in his verse). You are right he would definitely take part in the dance battles, he did in the past! He also attended dance academy fo six years where he learned various dance genres.
He is BTS' dance leader and one of their main dancers (main- the highest position in the group). I recommend to watch his dance compilations in the future.
This song had literally 3 languages in it. Korean, English, and Spanish!
Interesting fact: JHope shared that the original "Chicken Noodle Soup" by D J Webstar and rapper Young B was meaningful to him because he often listened to it when he was first learning to dance. This song was also very meaningful to Becky G, as well when she was young. As a sign of respect for the original artist, JHope personally paid Biana Bonnie (Young B) $2.7 million for the rights to remake the song and then he released his version of Chicken Noodle Soup for FREE! Young B thought JHope's remake was dope and she thanked JHope for trending #1 with Chicken Noodle soup!

You seemed surprised by his dance skills, crazy. Some background, this was a song JHope grew up with that inspired him to pursue dance. He paid the original artist around 3 million for the rights to this song and then gave them the royalties.
J Hope was a street dancer before he joined HYBE... if u watched the rise of Bangtan you can have an idea about each members. Jimin make contemporary dance, different about J Hope who makes dance street like hip hop.

Everytime I watch this, I always remember what Jhope said when he thanked Becky G for being so cool. He kept re-taking this music video because he's looking for something more for a better output and Becky G is so cool with all the re-takes until Jhope gets his satisfaction because she said it's his video. I liked Becky because of this and I liked her more when I saw their interaction in the AMAs. She's so sweet. :)

I’m sure you probably know already Its a remix cover of 2006 track by artists Webster & Young B (Bianca) but I wasn’t sure when J-Hope would release it. He said it was the reason he found his passion for dancing and how he joined BTS, he also mentioned this was supposed to be part of his first mixtape “Hope World” and that it was his idea to do a remake cover of the song which gave him inspiration to pursue dance & music. It’s super impressive how they mixed in three different languages Korean, English and Spanish explaining the back story of the track within the song Lol like can we talk about the amount of extreme diversity? #JHOPE #ChickenNoodleSoupftBeckyG
*The fact that he had contacted YoungB’s agency through Bighit of course to get permission and bought the to copyrights to create this remix of the song and she was honored which he didn’t mind how much it cost because this song is why JHOPE started dancing and got the courage to join BTS.*

You should really react to "Outro:Tear". It's a rap line (Suga, RM and JHope) song. The live at wembley with eng sub its the best video to watch for sure.
