I’ve been subbed to Tech Deals since last year and I really love him. He’s like a loving dad that sits down at Christmas and has a Generic American Turkey or Ham that his wife cooked. They say grace and are like the Lampoons if their Christmas didn’t go wrong Pin me dad :)
We live in a world where people jam out and listen to phone speakers as opposed to actual headphones. Those 150s may be the best thing people these days will ever listen to
I will consider buying the Z200 speakers actually. You know why? Cause I have close to zero room on my desk, and I have a pretty small budget for speakers now as I invested a lot on my PC already. I even have older speakers currently but I want to give those to my father, alongside with my old TV. The old speakers work mighty fine for me, so these should too. I don't need top notch sound quality, especially since I already have a great Logitech headset with 7.1 surround. If I play a strategic Multiplayer where sound is crucial, I simply use my headset. However, I also play Singleplayer games. And to be honest, if I play with my headset for a while I get an annoying feeling, so I rather not wear them for too long. So whenever I play AC Origins for example, I simply want to sit back, chill without my headset and use something that simply works. There are much more important things than sound in this situation lol Thank you very much Tech Deals, as always a great video! :)
I have a pair of logitech $20 speakers. My favorite thing about them is that they are portable to swap from computer to computer on the go. They have some more kick than really cheap speakers, they appear nice, and, I can hook up additional sources. Those are all wins for some people who don't want to spend lots of money or just need reference audio.
I have these speakers and they are alot better than older style multimedia speakers. This is a smart design with passive radiators, which work better than ports, and are much better than my older Logitech's, with much less distortion. They are also decent for music, particularly older pop music that doesn't have deep bass. They are also good for helping to clearly hear speech in youtube videos.
This is why I subscribe, you are honest sir. Well, you're right these plastic boxes are just... noise makers. Ok for small group presentations or office pheripherals. To appreciate music, a 2.0 bookshelf speakers/monitors or a 50mm studio headphones is recommended. Been there. Learned the hard way.
I use these speakers. There fine. Im used using edifiers Luna, logitech z623 and z625 speakers. 100+ speakers. And these 30 pound speakers sound fine. I use them in my bedroom where it connects to my parents bedroom and my edifier Luna produced too much base at even lose volumes so i brought these back out over head and these do a better job because they don't disturb or goes though my parents walls. They don't produce enough base to be ever be a problem and they sound very balanced
I bought a pair of logitech speakers with a 8" subwoofer about 20 years ago and those bad boys are still rockin'. They sound great with the Asus Crosshair VI onboard sound chip.
I have Logitech Z200 2019 speakers, they look a bit different than those but i have been very happy with them. Gaming, music and everything sounds very good.
Congrats on 200k man been here since last year around when you had 2k loved your streams too!And remembered your wife would make tea for you while streaming
I have Altec BX1220 USB powered speakers and they "are just fine", too. I bought them about 10 years ago, (I think, it has been a while), and they serve me well. After watching the comparison video prior to this one, I decided to save up for the Z333 set. I do not currently have the room for them, but that did not stop me from buying three Acer R240HY bidx 23.8" 1920x1080 60Hz monitors, but that is a different story. After my daughter graduates college, moves out, and begins her teaching career, her room becomes my gaming/streaming room. I plan to build a custom desk, so lack of space will no longer be an issue. I look forward to more videos of this type. I find them informative and entertaining, especially this video. I laughed so hard at the beginning, I cried. Back surgery was less than two weeks ago and I am recovering from that. Stitches come out Thursday. Anyway, rambling done. Adding this type of comparison video to your repertoire is a great move, IMHO. Thank you for making this type of video.
Since my down time is between 10pm and 1 am when the family is sleeping the $20 speakers are perfect. They are quiet and clear. Some say headphones but I also like to beable to hear if my son or wife call for me in the night so...
I have a pair of those. They're okay. Lasted me for a good couple of years. Just upgraded to the z333 because of the recommendation you gave in your last video. They sound so much better! Anyone want my old speakers? Lol
I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of these speakers: Go with the 313 or 333. They really are miles ahead! I don't know if I can ever go back to anything below 3 drivers after having the Z333's!
I'm confused as to why you're saying the z200s are bad compared to the rest. Because of the sub? Not everyone likes heavy bass. The z200s are way better speakers than the satellites of almost any other Logitech speaker system.
I currently have those speakers and I would recommend them, they are an amazing budget speakers, I’ve had them for about 2 years now and have had no problems with them
Yeah subwoofer is important... had Logitech x-210 many years ago and when i moved to my first apartment and was listening music and drinking beer with friend my neighbour called a police. Becaus too "mutch" bass at midle on night ":D"
What are your thoughts if the Z200 is used for tv movie watching? I just like something that is better than tv speakers with balanced low mid and highs? Fantastic review comparison by the way. Thanks
Now that was an ad worthy of Mr. Deals himself....a 3 minute plus ad about LEGO "REBRICKULOUS". Entertaining video...."They're just cheap". That says it all. :)
Recently bought the z200 speakers and are ok for youtubing on my pc . It depends what you are wanting speakers for. If you use for listening to music a lot or watch movies on a pc then i would not get these . I have different speakers on my tv and a music player with higher spec speakers for that so i am happy for what i bought them for.
I tell ya. I had the 10 dollar speakers he showed up until an hour ago. Then I plugged in the Z313s and holy cow. This isn't even the best, but it's a million times better than the $10 ones. Been playing destiny 2 for a while and it's much more immersive with the bass. Thank you tech deals.
Thank you for dropping a heart. A quick question: I just got myself a 8600K i5 8th Gen processor and ASRock Z370M Pro4 LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z370 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard... now, which RAM should I go for? My budget is for 8GB(anything below $160). I'll be using my old ASuS Strix OC DC2 GTX960 4Gb and SeaSonic Focus 650W 80+ Gold PSU. Your help will be appreciated. Thank you. 😊
I'm glad that you're being honest, i've had the X-210 set for years, so i know the importance of a subwoofer to the overall sound quality, so i'd go for the Z333s anyway. Thank you for this honest review.
Great video! Quesiton: if you do want to go for a two speaker set withoit the sub. Which would you recomend? For acceptable music/movies/gaming I looking at the Edifier r1000t4.. any thougths?
Those big Logitechs with the drone cones are good for replacing tinny TV speakers if you have a TV with a miniplug for headphones. I Kill-A-Watt-ed them and couldn't get them to draw more than 1 Watt, so even if they're left on accidentally I just leave them at 75% and use the TV remote to adjust the volume. :-)
Funny thing is I own those 10 dollar speakers for about a year now, and almost bought those 20 dollar ones last week. What are the chances he does a video on this lol. So based off his not so glowing review, I'm just going to save up for the z333s
Hey Mr.Deals I have a PC for my grandkids and some are 789 yrs old and older I have found that at their age those 10 or 20 dollars speakers are ok, but for me no you're right but for young kids it's ok, so for any of your critics I thought I would cut the off at the pass! I got your back
I use the z200 on my pc just for co op / split screen games and the rest of the stuff i use a gaming headset . the z200 in my opinion are good enough .
I think Your Is the best review I have the S120 which I prefer over the S150 because It Is amplified and can be used with other things Not just the computer. I just bought the Z200 out of the box the S120 sounds better the Z200 has slightly more bass but the mid range and twitter Is somewhat muffled I plan to add cheap mid range tweeter horns to It, I seen a review of Black Web speakers that have fake tweeters so I decided on the Z200. 15 years ago I paid 20 dollars for Creative Labs 3 way speaker system that sounded fairly good, this time I was just looking for something small and affordable
Happy holidays from Costa Rica! Honestly, your channel is the first channel I ever subbed. Gotta fix my Patreon too...Well, I have a $10 speakers connected to my PS2 with a CRT TV. Then I have a 2.1 speaker 12 Watts RMS with my gaming PC. Maybe I will get the Logitech Z506 for 5.1 in the near future...
I just bought these and I have to say I really don't agree with you. If you're looking for a good pair of stereo speakers for your computer desk I'd say these are a great choice. The sound is very good in my opinion. I don't miss the subwoofer at all. They might not be great for a home theater setup or a studio or something, but as computer speakers to put on your desk they're great.
Great review! The tech community could use more blatant and honest reviews such as this. Short, simple, and to the point. I also love the fact that you compared them to speakers above and below it's class. It brought everything into perspective and really set apart this review.
I have the s-150's for the kids pc. I actually run the Logitech z625 and although a lot more expensive I think they sound really good for under $150 on sale. I am not a audiophile but it sounds good to me.
Hee hee, I love the running theme in this vid about the low end of speakers, when referencing the A and B of advantages. "...and B.....yeeeeah, A is pretty much it."
I canceled my Amazon order for the Z200 and was ready to buy the 313, but then I noticed that you CANNOT return them. If they arrive broken, too bad. So... Back to the Z200.
I only game with headphones currently I use the open back phillips shp9500. Never been into speakers idk just never cared lol, I like to hear everything in game & soundwhore I feel like what could do it better than 40mm-50mm speaker drivers right over your ears. Speakers/soundbars are more important for music & movies
@Mai Va Lee I have BT speakers. I also have headphones, which are better than speakers. But none of that matters, because it was a joke as just how bad my monitor speakers are.
@Mai Va Lee For good headphones? Depends a lot on your budget and tastes. Do you want heavier bass, or balanced? Open back, or closed? Checkout the subreddit I mentioned (/r/headphones). People there will know a lot more than I do. Also /r/budgetaudiophile for speakers and stuff.
Exactly... the reviews on Amazon basically say the opposite of everything he has said about them lmao. I think he got a faulty pair or something. They are highly rated especially for the price.
Do you know of a higher powered 2.0 speaker like them? I have a lot of hearing does in the mid to high end, so powered subs over power the satellites. Thanks. Or can I run the 333's without the sub?
Hi, have you had a chance to look at the Asus Xonar U3? It's a USB external "sound card" that amplifies a headphone and a microphone. I have one, and think it's a good little gadget. There are of course "better" products out there but for how much it costs and how well it works, it is a pretty good deal. Please could you do a head to head review of it against the SoundBlasters' equivalent? P.S. I have that AWE Gold too. It was an ISA card so it is totally obsolete now. Good times (playing FF7).

how many stars would you give it out of? ( ?/5)
Haha this is a good one man. Like I can really see it now.
I know I'm out of place, but the real question is
can it sound crysis
Tanmay Jyothis at 10fps? 😂😂😂
Yes but it can’t run Microsoft paint unfortunately
"They are........... Not complete crap." LOL
We live in a world where people jam out and listen to phone speakers as opposed to actual headphones. Those 150s may be the best thing people these days will ever listen to
ive just bought the z603s and have received 3 noise complaints from my neighbors in the last two days..... 2 thumbs up
So true

I watched the video using the exact same speakers :D
And how was it?
Do they have spatial audio meaning by in a game if a person is coming on the right will only the right speakers sound come out?
@@mohammedqayyum8205 They should, since they‘re stereo speakers.
Why dislike a flawless video?

This was definitely an entertaining video! These are........not complete crap. Well.....there you go then!
Can't get much more honest than that! :)
MidnightBanshi this is the best comment of all time
I’ve owned many Logitech speaker sets. They last about 1-2 years. They sound okay, and you really get what you pay for.

In Aus, the Z313's are only $15 more than the Z200 at $65. Easy choice right there. Even better, the Z333's are only $4 more than that
Can't get any more direct to the point than what was said in the beginning of the video.
Actually the z200 look pretty good for work if you want your desk to look decent, even if you dont use em.
I bought the Logitech z313 to replace some crappy Amazon basics that I had, and now I have much better audio.Keep up the great videos.
I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of these speakers: Go with the 313 or 333. They really are miles ahead! I don't know if I can ever go back to anything below 3 drivers after having the Z333's!

I currently have those speakers and I would recommend them, they are an amazing budget speakers, I’ve had them for about 2 years now and have had no problems with them
You probably dont use this channel anymore, but if anyone can answer this question that would be great. How long do these speakers last?
not many youtubers cover this kind of stuff. that means he mind the budget consumers. good job techdeals.
Yeah subwoofer is important... had Logitech x-210 many years ago and when i moved to my first apartment and was listening music and drinking beer with friend my neighbour called a police. Becaus too "mutch" bass at midle on night ":D"
The reason why got the z200 years ago. One I am extremely sensitive to bass and I got them for sub $15
I love the fact that Tech Deals gives an honest opinion about all of the products that he reviews. Thanks and keep the videos coming.
I bought the z900 set recently, but have always been happy with the z200. They're good enough for "making sounds".
I have these, they're fine as long as you don't use high volume
What are your thoughts if the Z200 is used for tv movie watching? I just like something that is better than tv speakers with balanced low mid and highs? Fantastic review comparison by the way. Thanks
Now that was an ad worthy of Mr. Deals himself....a 3 minute plus ad about LEGO "REBRICKULOUS". Entertaining video...."They're just cheap". That says it all. :)
I bought $100 GX Gaming speakers and they are fucking amazing! The sound quality is amazing and the bass is through the roof. No regrets at all.
I've had these speakers for like 7 years and now I want to upgrade.
I have the 200s right now. Guess it's time to get a set-up with a sub
I just love how honest you are in every single review.
Buy JBL305s and never worry about sound on desktop again ...
I can confirm
Recently bought the z200 speakers and are ok for youtubing on my pc . It depends what you are wanting speakers for. Even those $20 speakers are light-years ahead of some built-in monitor speakers. Spent a bunch of money on headphones and got usable speakers.
This is very helpful. Nearly bought the Z200 for my wife’s work computer. Now I’m confused as to what to do. Lol
I have these 20.00 speakers and they work good for me.
do you know if a sub can be added to the z200's?
I like the way they look of the z200 over the Z313's
I tell ya. I had the 10 dollar speakers he showed up until an hour ago. Then I plugged in the Z313s and holy cow. This isn't even the best, but it's a million times better than the $10 ones. Been playing destiny 2 for a while and it's much more immersive with the bass. Thank you tech deals.
Thank goodness I saw this video, some other youtube was claiming these were the real good. I appreciate your honest and review!

Hahaha loving the honesty! 😂
Jaja funny intro. I can imagine people with high hopes on the 20 dollar speaker jaja.
Funny. Theses are quiet expensive in Australia. They cost more than z313 here.

I have the z333 and they are AMAZING! I definitely recommend them.
Because I'm honest !!!! Yes you are
I own the z623s, have you ever used/looked into them and could you consider it for a video.
This is the best opening minute of any video ever- keep up the good work.
I have the 313s and I love them!
I bought these speakers a month ago and I love them. The bass is so nice!
I do run my logitech g430s through them tho so enhances the quality
Do they work with a tv or just a monitor
Hey Mr.Deals I have a PC for my grandkids and some are 789 yrs old and older I have found that at their age those 10 or 20 dollars speakers are ok, but for me no you're right but for young kids it's ok, so for any of your critics I thought I would cut the off at the pass! I got your back
I ordered those Logitech Z200 speakers and they come tomorrow

Hee hee, I love the running theme in this vid about the low end of speakers, when referencing the A and B of advantages. "...and B.....yeeeeah, A is pretty much it."
whats the cheapest recommendation for full sounding speakers?
Perfect video! Was looking exactly for this comparison video!
I have the $10 speakers but I got them for $3 so they’re pretty worth it
Do these work as satellites for a powered sub with a jack splitter?
Any reason to get these over the built-in ones on monitors?
I canceled my Amazon order for the Z200 and was ready to buy the 313, but then I noticed that you CANNOT return them. If they arrive broken, too bad. So... Back to the Z200.

But are they better or worse than my monitor speakers?
*monitor speakers. Even worse than laptop speakers! But it was a joke...
@Mai Va Lee I have BT speakers. I also have headphones, which are better than speakers. But none of that matters, because it was a joke as just how bad my monitor speakers are.
@Mai Va Lee Why are you still talking about laptops? Who mentioned laptops? And get yourself some decent headphones.

😍 Get the one that has a separate dedicated Subwoofer to go bump! 😍
Wow this is the best review for looking for affordable tech stuff I have ever seen.
Do you know of a higher powered 2.0 speaker like them? I have a lot of hearing does in the mid to high end, so powered subs over power the satellites. Thanks. Or can I run the 333's without the sub?
nice to see you growing
