Awesome run! Great display of technical skill. At first I was confused when your description described Copen's gameplay is paradoxical. Then I learned about Guard Counters. I'm content to stay with regular S-Ranks and jumping around the map all the time haha. Really love the amount of time you put into notes for this game and giving multiple weapons and skills a chance to shine!

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words; I did my best to get as creative as I could with the various weapons and skills available. Guard Counters are certainly an interesting mechanic. Inti did a good job with making them entirely optional since every S+ is possible without ever having to go for one.

Great runs on the stages! I see you didn't use the Asroc skip as Copen that would've netted 1000 Kudos for free, as if you defeated the boss with GV's 0 SP Skills. Would've boosted your score a lot, but oh well, still a solid playthrough.

Thank you! Interestingly enough, I learned about the Asroc skip by watching your run of the stage long after I'd already recorded that segment. Since I'd already moved on to later stages I didn't feel compelled to go back and redo Isle of Dreams, but I'll keep it in mind for the future.

Ugh, the more I watch these, the more get the urges to replay them, lol.

Good to hear! What's nice about GV2 is that you have a lot of freedom in how you want to go about getting an S+. Optimizing every combo isn't necessary and you can even use checkpoints. Much more welcoming than GV1 for sure.

My favorite/hated part about GV2 is how the first time I do bossfights, I have to sandbag on purpose so I can read the textboxes mid-fight, lmfao. It's so silly but I kinda love it in a rite-of-passage type deal.

@@rebycVG Yeah, the real-time dialogue can be a bit jarring, but at least you only have to go through it once. Inti Creates was surely aware of that too since the option to turn conversations off after your first clear of a stage becomes available.
