Wiha makes a damn fine screwdriver, blades are very similar to the Witte but the handle is a nice cushy palm swell. He Witte shape is actually better for transferring torque

It's never ending with this type of thing. Personally snapon screwdrivers are the winner for me but I like a little more robust driver. Wiha make lovely screw drivers as do Wera but most of them I would say are for nicer work rarther than heavey work. The CK Classics are another German made screwdriver that I love, relatively thin hard handle though so an required taste perhaps? The Stanley Max ones are very good too, the oldest screwdrivers I got new and still in great shape, also sould as Britool/facom/Mac Expert but have a diffrent finish in them.
If you want top value I would say the Wera Chisel drivers are the best, they are almost indestructible I have removed thousands if screw that where fitted 100+ years ago with a 7mm Wera Chisel driver, they are what I would tell an apprentice to get for top value and ability to take abuse.
But for putting screw back in I love my SnapOn 👌👌
I think in the top of my box right now there will be an Snapon; SDD2, SDD4, SHD4, SHD6, SDDMR4B, a Teng PH2, Wera 7mm Chisel driver and CK HD Classic strike through 6mm.
The two the same size is because one is much older and is an inbetween size now 😁

Those Vessel screwdrivers are JIS standard. You can the tell because of the "." (dot) next to the size: P.2X150. There is nothing bad with that, though. I've been using JIS P. screw driver for all my Phillips screw needs without any problem, and most of the screws I run into are non JIS Phillips.

I have always liked the way Snap On fit my hand, maybe because I have been using them since the 70s.
Having said that, I am a big fan of the Tekton hard handle screwdrivers. Might be the most comfortable handle I have yet to use. It's kinda like a modified Snap On.
    Thanks for the video brother.

I got my Vessel as a special item brought in by Princess Auto. ( a Canadian Harbor Freight). Through the years they have become my go to screwdrivers. The brand I will never buy again is Klein. Two broken tips , one scratching my car and poor warranty service. I feel for for people using them every day not knowing about Vessel. Great video. It will help make a lot of lives more enjoyable !

I love the Tektons. Made in the USA and their hard handle is extremely comfortable for my hands. Wish they made their nut drivers with the hard handle.

Good Evening All: CP it was happy to see Henry at the start of your video. Since you brought up screwdrivers I had a complete new set of Snap On comfort grips in my box fir a long time. My friend in Idaho uses Klein's so I boxed them up & he just received them the other day. He knows of Snap On but there are none where he lives. I figure I would expose him to some decent tools for his enlightenment. Another great video sir I can see a trip coming to JDTCO for some Vessels. Thank you for your opinion. Have a great weekend you & Henry, TMP from N.J.

I’m an electrician and I do like Klein and I believe their designed to fit electrical equipment hardware, and they’ve never let me down, that said I also like the Snap-on , I really like the Wera brand as well. I’d also give honorable mention to craftsman, you’ll probably find a few in 90% of electrician’s tool bags, and the old industrial black set they had, you could chisel cement block with them, really hard steel and believe it or not I never broke one, I wish they still made them !

I recently bought a vessel ball jis a wera and a set heyco. Those ball grip vessels grip the screw like crazy. Probably one of the best I’ve used. The heyco 2k has a very comfortable grip. Probably the most ergonomic with a rubberized grip. They are kind of short handles so people with large hands may not care for them as much. The wera was ok as far as ergonomics but not as good in my opinion. They laser tip didn’t grip the screw as well as the vessel or witte.

I have been wanting a quality screwdriver set set for eons. I have had snap on and love the handles. I love the knurling on those vessels, bolsters seem nice, too much to chose from. Maybe that's why I have leaned on the 6n1 style screwdrivers so much. My favorite seems to me the old USA made masterforce from Menards, I have 4 or 5 of these. I was sold on the Snap-On #2 PH in the 90s and bought my set 20yrs ago (yellow & red hard handles) which are still sold as Williams today. I think I might have found one that might be better at gripping screws is the WERA laser tip. I turn a lot of screws at work (usually partially stripped JUNK soft chinese stuff) and the WERA just killed it on the last job I did. Taking them to the UK next week for a big job. I might have to try the Vessel out if break the WERA.
