As a new player I moved the coop next to the pond before I bought any ducks because I had seen a TH-cam video where the ducks were swimming in a pond and I thought that you need to have a space for the ducks to swim before buying them. I am very disappointed that I have never seen my ducks swim. 😅
I'm surprised, I've watched a few of these videos now from different creators, and not one has mentioned that you can now make vinegar by putting rice into kegs. It's a really great way of making money too. When you're level 10 farming you're pretty much guaranteed to get at least 2 unmilled rice per rice crop you harvest, and then once milled it can be turned into vinegar in 5 hours in a keg, and you get 2 vinegar per rice. That's 400g for a plant where the seed costs 40g. And if you make sure it's irrigated and you use deluxe speed-gro, you can get 6 harvests in one spring, netting about 80g per day averaged out. That's better than planting strawberries and turning them into jelly.
Can confirm ducks swim. I have a Forrest farm and one corner of the fence area is a pond. I kept noticing the ducks outside the fence which was weird then one day I actually saw them in the pond. They would then exit the other side.
Dehydrator, hopper, and excess ancient fruit (more than your barrels and casks can handle) is incredibly over-powered. For example, iridium quality ancient fruit wine sells for 4,620 and dried ancient fruit (requires 5 pieces) sells for 5,810, but it's ready in 1 day instead of 2 full seasons! I might not even bother with casks anymore!
I mean none of his quests are really “easy” but compared to all the other ones that one was doable if you already HAD the prismatic shards but no more 🥹
@@gferrol118 oh me too, i have only been getting better since i use the jade for stair cases trade on sundays at the desert trader, going in with loads of bombs and explosive ammo, only on very lucky days and then use a lucky lunch or whatever i can make at the moment. Maybe this helps?
Also omg I got the laurel wreath crown the other day when Emily turned my male character into a frat boy a toga party. It's my favourite outfit it's so funny
That’s super lucky! I hope he might fix some makeovers because I think every single outfit should have a hat as well, there’s quite a few that don’t give one, I’ve gotten pretty unlucky with most outfits except for the one in the video where she gave me the cat ears 😅
Love these, some new ones for me. One that I haven't heard anyone mention yet is that the iridium scythe is great for harvesting crops on trellises, you can plant them in four rows close together and then use the scythe from each side to get all of the items, it even works on tea saplings. Also great for harvesting moss off trees as it doesn't use energy, or damage the tree or any tappers that might be present.
This is me too. I am on mobile and as much as I I am waiting with anticipation for the update thorough are some things that are a negative lol. I generally don’t buy the energy tonics but I find them in chests and I think Pam has given me some… And I’ve used them for emergency health. I mean by that time I have enough star drops in me that I don’t really need food for energy anymore.
Just found this video, really like it. Subbed and watching others! Also, I really like how your farm looks and how you decorate inside your buildings! Edit: Maybe its just me, but I'd really enjoy an overview of your farm and decorated buildings!
As someone clueless about Stardew Valley, my first play through was the Riverland farm and I knew about the ducky going swimming ‘cause… well they were surrounded by water anyway so that’s the only thing they could do all day 😭
I find it weird how it took so long for life elixir and energy tonics to actually just affect what you'd expect, instead of being basically full health and energy
lmao only once have I seen a duck swimming on my farm, and by golly it was just the cutest thing I ever saw.
Didn’t know that even the ducklings can swim and it’s just so adorable 🥰
I took pictures of my monitor and sent them to my friends 😭😭😭
I did a big AWWWWW
Just found out yesterday, it was such an adorable surprise.

i was at the park and also can confirm that ducks swim
you can now place pathing underneath a building so it has a more even look
Your farms are so cute! Didn't know about the clay turning into a castle in the aquarium. Going to do that right now! Thanks for the great video!
Glad it was helpful and thanks for the nice comment!
You can now have a beehive produce honey influenced by potted flowers so a shed apiary is now possible
Don't the bee houses still have to be outside?
@@buzzle4271 Yes they do. The benefit of being able to use potted plants is that you don't have to waste valuable crop space on beehives.

I dont enjoy skull caverns, so that one sucks for me :P

Riverland was my first farm, so I new about the ducks swimming! I keep my coop near the pond on my Forest Farm now and the duckies love it ❤
I like to play on the Forest Farm map, and I just saw one of my ducks swimming in one of the ponds for the first time, just the other day!

You can also harvest tree moss with your sword!
I wouldn't really say thats a missed detail, since the item description in the mastery room tells you it works with harvesting :P
NOOOO NOT THE ENERGY TONIC D: (I live off that and cheese in the mines)

Wow so many small details, i would have never figured this out on my own
According to the wiki, a duck that swims also won't need to eat any grass that day. No idea if it's true, but I trust the wiki entry
I also read something similar on reddit!
Keep up the good work. You make great content.
Thank you so much! 🤗
Have you left cookies and milk on a table on Winter 24th yet?
I have not tried that!
@@GuidingPixels then where tf do you get all these "facts" then?
@@TC-kw4xu I thought he was talking about irl not the game, it was meant to be a joke
Hey i just today noticed! If you click ape logo before starting menu shows there is new animation! At least I just got it and was like "WOAH?!"
That’s so cool! I haven’t seen that one myself :D
Meadowlands farm was the first farm I ever saw ducks swim on! Couldn't figure out how they were escaping their pen!
I also had a duck swim in the river on the meadowlands farm, so I assume it works with any body of water
The cookie thing works on milk too. I put out milk to display in my shed as decoration and it somehow turned into a mystery box.
Funny that you mention that! I was just playing before and also tried it with milk, surprised to see that not more people have mentioned that.

Hey thanks for the nice comment! I’ll do a farm tour eventually:)!
wow i didn't know a lot of these things, thanks
Glad it was helpful :D
The dehydrator is actually worse than the preserves jar. It's only advantage is that its faster at processing individual fruits
As someone clueless about Stardew Valley, my first play through was the Riverland farm and I knew about the ducky going swimming ‘cause… well they were surrounded by water anyway so that’s the only thing they could do all day 😭
Yea they REALLY enjoy going into the water on the riverlands farm 😂
Shellfish can also be put into the fish smoker.
Didn’t know that thanks!
Look, ma, I'm on TV!
Also mini shipping bins aren’t even that useful so it’s not really like you’re missing out on much if you don’t buy it
The cookies thing is mind blowing
My first duckling on the Meadowlands escaped the original enclosure by swimming in the river...
I find it weird how it took so long for life elixir and energy tonics to actually just affect what you'd expect, instead of being basically full health and energy
The first one also works with milk.
2:07 100%, i got mastery levels way faster than i shouldve with kale
Ahhh yea now I get why he nerfed it
