I like it . Doesn’t break the bank , and it gets the job done ✔️ I mean we’re not welding things within a 1000th “ tolerance as blacksmiths so that looks great for me . Have fun Troy and thanks for the tip .
Bought this table and changed out the feet for some wheel casters, so I can move it around my garage easier. I used the locking nuts from the feet on the casters, so I could get the table as level as possible. Works well so far.
That's a great move. Ours is intended to stay level and stationary. I'm quite pleased with it so far. We have made a few modifications and actually purchased another one and attached it. Game changer for us. Maybe we'll do an update video. Thanks for watching.
its a great table you right I been try to get one since Christmas got it this week . what I did on mine I put wheels on one end make it easier to move around in my shed .Its great love using it just made it work some much easy . I just been setting up a jig to be able to make bumpers for CanAm spyder rt .
After waiting a few months they finally had a couple in stock the other day so I grabbed one. I'm a beginner welder, just wanted a surface I could clamp things to so I can practice, make some drift trikes, etc.. I'm looking forward to putting mine to work.
I agree with you on the leg brace needing bolts and possibly a cross brace from corner to corner for stability. I just put one together today and the legs do not give me confidence.
Youre right!, I made a work table base in less than 1 hrs with all this !!! And perfectly squared and leveled too!. All those fixtures are a wonder. Its cheap and its efficient. 😃

Hey, that looks like a great little fixture table for a Hobbyist welder. tRoy, if you can figure out a good way to add slide out shelves under the table top to store the clamps n fixtures and stuff, that way it's right there easy to reach. Jus' my 2¢ 😊
I would have definitely loved to have a table like that to weld small parts on. I have a homemade cart with a 10ga plate on it I bought for scrap price from the old shop I worked at.
@@kevinkelly5430 yes. It has made a big difference for that kind of work. The homemade carts we’ve all used may not be as convenient, but they have made do. Thanks for watching. We actually just purchased another one and attached the two together. Wow.
I'm pretty sure it's 1/8" plate. 1/4" would be an amazing deal for that price. It's not a bad table for the price. I just wish they actually did make it 1/4" One thing about the nuts on the underside is that you can't mount it to a cart because you have to have access to the underside. Someone showed where he mounted the shorter table to a cart and can store all the stuff. The issue there is that now you can't access the underside. IDK how it would hold up with the modified "F" clamps being only 1/8" thick. They claim 4mm, but someone said it's really just 3mm
@@bobreichel Well, Bob. I must ask what you vision prescription is? It literally is and is specified to be between 3/16” and 1/4”. Definitely not 1/8”. @@larrymcgill5508 ha. Well, I guess you could use it for both. No claims of being some huge fixture table. It meets a specific need. Thanks for watching.
Tables like this, with a 3/16” thick (it’s not 1/4”) surface are made for people who don’t need really flat surfaces. They’re flat enough for most work that doesn’t need precision. They’re fine for TIG where you’re making small objects that are of odd shapes, such as exhaust tubing and such. What I really don’t like about these are the cheesy clamps that you have to reach under the table to attach a nut to. That’s a real pain. I can tell you that clamping is something that you have to change constantly. Often you put clamps on the table and find they aren’t in the right place. So you lift them up and move them. With these, you have to reach under the table, remove the nut, move the clamp and reach under and tighten the nut again. believe me, it will be a pain. The truth is that you can get regular top insert clamps and use them. You don’t have to clamp so hard that it will be a problem.
I see where you’re coming from it’ll definitely show some weak points if using it from a commercial stand point like the clamps. But it can still definitely work considering if you have more time to use it properly
I know your comment is 4 months old, but I bought some casters at Home Depot and used the nut that was on the original feet as a lock nuts, so I could adjust the casters to get the table as level as I could. Seems to work well.
Great review.
Thank you so much. God bless.

Pretty sharp looking beer table as well. Use a coaster.
It certainly would be. We have a recent video of a small belt grinder. It was easy to mount table top tools to.
I might get two. Double the tops. Use 2nd frame as table extension or use that frame metal for additional support and or drawer
@@JD-ft2lr nice!
Double the tops and halve the stability ?
What size are the holes in the table?
5/8”
is it FLAT when putting a long straight edge on it????
mostly. there is a little suck down where the screws tighten down to the frame. That can be easily adjusted by shimming.
Has anyone found castors or wheels that will fit it? Harbor Freight doesn’t make any for it & we cannot find the right size to fit
Not sure. I have heard they are a tough fit. Ours will remain stationary. Thanks and God bless.
