Thank you! Your comment means a lot ☺️. I’m currently in the middle of trying to change the interior structure of the dolls house but it’s not going so well… but at least I can shut the doors and be happy with the outside of it 😂.
@@barbarakaywhite5166 Aw, thank you! I definitely like using what I already have rather than buying new things where possible. I was happy with how they turned out. ☺️
I dont know how you worked all that out. I am terrible with stuff like that. I am doing it in 18th scale so am trying foam and other thinner card on the roof of the farm building to work out what looks in scale. I think I will base coat the whole thing in black and maybe do a muted terracotta however that works out. I think you did a beautiful job!
If I was to do this roof again, I’d definitely paint it black as a base colour before adding the tiles. I feel like the thickness of the card I chose shouldn’t be right for my 1:12 scale… but it seems to look right so I went with it 🤭. Good luck with your roof!
Absolutely gorgeous!! The moss was the icing on the cake!!
Thank you, and thank you for watching!
The roof turned out wonderfully. The moss was a great touch, makes it look that much more authentic. 😊
Thank you! On to the brickwork and chimney pots next!
The roof looks so life-like. Just fantastic!❤

Your color combination worked really well, and the moss is just what was needed. Your roof is the perfect cap on your house!
Thank you! I was so pleased with how the new roof changed the look of the house. ☺️
Very pretty. I really like it
Thank you! 😊
What a great job the moss looks fab.
Thank you so much! ☺️
Love love LOVE this!! Absolutely beautiful! I think I would have added rails to the front staircase, but all in all- it’s gorgeous!
Thanks, it’s not finished yet and rails are something I’m considering! Thank you for watching ☺️
I’ve added this balustrade to the gallery, so something similar may be good for the stairs:

🤗
Well done!!! It looks amazing:)
Thank you so much 😊
I love your glue gun holder! What type is it?
Hi, do you mean the little cork pot that I keep the sticks in? It’s from The Works ☺️
I’m impressed how well the tiles meet so neatly between sides. ❤️
Thank you! If I was to do it again, I’d paint the roof black before putting the tiles on so that some of the gaps weren’t so apparent!
Good job
Thank you!
Your new roof looks GREAT!
Aw thank you so much! I had to retouch the paint a bit a day later because it dried quite dark! Thank you for your lovely comment ☺️
