  • Please note, none of the items that I make in my videos are toys: they are not for children. All of my miniatures have small parts and are made with a variety of tools and materials. They are also not edible. Please do not follow my videos as tutorials - they are made as diary entries to show you the progression of my doll’s house makeover.
In this video my dollhouse makeover takes a huge leap ahead as the inside of the dollhouse is transformed. This part of the dollhouse makeover took three days to complete - at times, I wondered if I’d made a huge mistake with the alterations I’d decided to make. However, I persevered and I’m incredibly proud of the outcomes - I’ve put the before and after at the end of the video for comparison!
If you’re new to my channel, I’m currently in the process of transforming a preloved dollhouse into a Miniature Tudor Hall. If you’d like to see how the dolls’ house has changed and been restored prior to this video, please check out the other parts in my Tudor dollhouse restoration diary:

Part 5: Altering the Interior Structure of the Dollhouse - • Interior Restructure o...
Part 6: Miniature Front Door Transformation - • Miniature Front Door |...
Next, I need to think about the flooring, gallery balustrade and the miniature kitchen fireplace. The dollhouse windows are ready and waiting to be attached… but I don’t want to do that until the structural work is completely finished, so that they don’t get damaged! I can’t wait to show you the miniature leaded windows though… I’m really proud of them!

Lookin good!! I don’t know if they had chandeliers in Tudor times, but that would look gorgeous in that open space! I love watching dollhouse renovations-it’s so interesting!

Thank you! I think they did have them, with candles in… I’m thinking one hanging from the healing and another on the stand in a corner somewhere! 😀 Thank you for the suggestion, and thank you for watching!

Now that you opened up the banqueting hall its beginning to resemble the plans of my tudor house that I havent assembled yet, I'm really excited seeing how yours is coming along. I think I will try to find that diamond shaped net you used in your windows because it looks to be perfect!

I was so pleased I took the risk to make the banqueting hall double height. If you search for ‘drainpipe netting’ online, I think it will come up for you! I searched for ages to find something that would be good to use and it turned out to be the perfect size. My house is 1:12 but I think it would probably also be a good size for 1:18.
