i watch a lot of dnd mini channels, despite only really using the techniques for doll miniatures. i wonder if the texture rollers they use would work here? you could roll a brick or stone texture onto thin foam, then paint with a sealant to keep the texture from getting too damaged. it means you don't have to cut or score thousands of tiny bricks. that, plus a black wash and you'd be set, i think!

Yaaaay for the final result! The idea of a sign sounds so much fun. Here in the Netherlands you see on very old buildings also “anno [year]” that could be an idea to add?

I think your right and the glue (pva I'm assuming) and the joint filler are having a reaction. I know that in making paper clay (PVA, joint filler, & paper recipe) certain brands of joint filler (DAP here in the US) have an ingredient that has an adverse reaction with pva glue. It kind of turns the clay gelatinous and a bit bubbly for me - not good. I made a less than ½ inch ball with my goo-clay and it took most of a week to dry. I do think that all your trials and patience have paid off. And your final floor looks great with the added paint. Can’t wait to see it when it’s dry. Thanks for sharing.

Oh boy what a rollercoaster ride that floor journey was! LOL It does look so much better now with the extra gold paint in the new lot of flooring, but man it's crazy how long the floor took to dry. I would have been tempted to leave it with a fan blowing on it, but thats not so easy to do with a cat in the house I imagine. You could always keep the left over plaster dust in an old recycled jam jar or something so it's airtight until you're ready to use it later.

The floor looks great 😃trial error worked out . Have you thought of a long square cap to cover the the second floor. Maybe adding two thinner pieces to the long piece on either end. I hope this makes sense to you. I think that a sign on the inside will take away from your gallery but a sweet swinging sign out side the door would be amazing. You could use your hook idea on that, I thought it was brillant.Your print is so lovely and yes use your platform to get your product out . Great stuff as usual. For my Tudor doll house bricks I used the very thin foam board used as underlay for laminate. I think it's green . Very easy to cut. Once I'd cut my hundreds of bricks I scored them randomly with a craft knife to give them an old bricky texture. Then I glued them on individually with tweezers. Covered with bricky paint and then a wash of black to get in the cevices. You could paint the back a mortar clour and then glue them on or, like I did , Fill the gaps with filler and wipe off.
