@Paige Loren giving dark roast to someone who doesn't like coffee is like giving absinthe to someone who doesn't like alcohol.
Darker roasts tend to be less acidic, have less caffeine, and more flavor. It's not that it's burnt.

@@Momoolein Nescafé is pretty strong, even the light roast versions, so I can only nervously chuckle thinking her first try of that whipped coffee was using one of the darkest roasts that brand offers.
Most beginners prefer a darker roast, it typically has more chocolate or caramel under notes, you are not going to want start with a strong coffee.

The small pancakes idea seems to be derived from the Dutch dish called “poffertjes”, they are delicious, we usually eat them with powdered sugar and butter, and sometimes strawberries.
Ugh powdered sugar and butter is literally my go-to choice for pancake topping

The strawberry milk reminds me of something my grandma taught me: lingonberry jam in milk topped with crisp bread. It was a common snack in her family when she was growing up in the 1940s. Due to the food rationing during and after the Second World War, you couldn't just go into the kitchen and grab any snack you wanted but those three ingredients were something they had plenty of and anyone could have as much as they wanted of.
A more global version would probably be strawberry or raspberry jam in milk topped with plain cereal.

i freaking love mia and her mom. so funny. mia quickly and chaoticly eating those fallen strawberries while her mom dies laughing in the background is so perfect
tips for that coffee:
-only do one spoon ratio for the amount of cups so like one spoon of coffee one spoon of sugar and two spoons of water for each person.
-i sweeten the milk and ice at the bottom of the cup before i add the topping
- i also add a tiny bit of the whipped part into the milk and really mix it into the milk then add the rest at the top so that the flavor is more evenly distributed. and as you drink the coffee flavor will get stronger so it’s a more natural build to the flavor.
DONT KNOW IF ANY OF THAT IS LIKE A COFFE SIN LOL i just really love how it turns out when i do it that way!
