Same. But I don't identify as that. I just don't care. But I'm a girl. Then they can do whatever. I mean, I am masculine. But I'm still a girl. I got female reproduction system and all
I love how he takes amusement parks pizzerias and buffets to explain gender identities 2nd: edit 321 LIKES?!?!?!?! 🤯😯😦😧😮😲😵😱😨😰 3rd edit: I have 8× more likes on this comment then my channel (82)
Explanation: Sex is the whatever is in your pants, so it's also gender you were assigned at birth. (See edit) There are only three sexes. Male and Female and Intersex, however many intersex people will either decide to identify as male or female. Gender is how you present yourself to society in regards to sex-based social structures. Your characteristics, behaviour and self-image can be an expression of your gender. Your gender is determined by how you feel in your mind about your own sex. Gender and sex are NOT the same thing. They are connected, but not the same. Edit: So, now that I've been more educated by the replies, I've learnt sex isn't just what your assigned at birth. It is a group of characteristics like chromosomes, hormones, gonads and sexual organs. I've also learnt (from the replies) that sex is usually split between primary and secondary sex characteristics. Primary sex is the reproductive organs and biological differences at birth. Secondary sex being the sex characteristics from hormones that appear at puberty. I didn't explain what intersex was and I thought it wasn't really a sex but the replies educated me so here's a very very brief explanation: It's when people are born with sex characteristics such as chromosome patterns and genitals that do not fit with the typical standards of male and female. Examples of this can be having XY chomosomes but you're a woman with a vagina (This is known as Swyer's syndrome) and when a man is born with an extra X chromosome (XXY). Thanks to the replies for educating me more!
There is male , female and INTERSEX ( intersex is being born with chromosomes and genitals outside the typical standards of male and female, examples : A man with XX chromosomes , a woman with XY chromosomes, Klinefelter syndrome , turner's syndrome , 40xyy syndrome , being born with 2 genitals, being born with no genitals )
@@User1924-seNo, they are not. Imagine a Cis, masculine man. Now imagine him being forced to wear a pink dress and heels. He would likely be uncomfortable. This is because this does not line up with his gender identity. There is absolutely NOTHING in your dna that tells you if you should wear a dress or suit. Sex and gender are different.
There’s certain nuances, but for the most part what sets them apart from gender fluidity is the fact most gender identities are “solid”, meaning they don’t shift. A cisgender person is always a man or a woman, a demigender person is always partly a man/woman and something extra, an agender person is always devoid of gender, so on and so forth.
I think genderflux is how strongly you cling to your gender identity that day. one day you might feel strongly masculine while the next day you feel agender
Genderfluid can fluctuate between any gender from Non-binary to something like Maverique (which wasn't covered) meanwhile Genderflux is a gender where they fluctuate between one sex (take female for example.) In which this person can be Agender, Libramasc/fem/fluid/gender, Demiboy/girl/fluid/gender, or Paraboy/girl/fluid/gender. Boyflux, Girlflux and Genderflux are examples of these, but.. yeah.. (I'm girlflux and found myself!)
Just as a reminder: It's completely okay to not have a label for your gender, it's completely okay to identify with multiple labels, it's completely okay to use a label and then find out that another one fits better. You don't owe anyone an explanation of yourself, and you do what feels the best for yourself 🫶
Sigh... I MIGHT get hate for this but it is honestly sad for the people hating on this just because it's a topic they do not like, hate, or despise. I know it's wrong for some people that other people are not in the simple sides of Male and Female and go to the Wonderland of Sexualities/Gender Identities but that doesn't mean you have to hate/harass/correct them? Let them be peaceful with who they are and please don't interrupt it. Just, ignore them and go on with your life. It's just a simple waste of your precious and little time to hate on them.
Me, for example, I don't know what I am. I don't care. But I don't know. That's why I just go by my birth gender, she/her, or they/them. I do zi/zir in replacement for sir or ma'am. Sometimes I'm masculine, other times I'm more feminine. Mostly masculine. I don't like dresses. Does that mean I identify as a guy? No. Does it mean I don't know how I feel gender wise? Yes. Do I care? Sometimes, but not often. Oh. Well. I hate that some people don't support me for my decisions on being they/them sometimes, or most times, but... I can't do much about that right now. So I don't tell them.
I lobe the way you out things. You don't have to agree with something to respect it. For example: I may not like that my friend got a tattoo or smt, but it's their choice and body and it's my job to respect their opinions. Thank you
I mean I find the whole thing ridiculous, I will debate people on this topic, but absolutely nobody going out of their way to harass these people has a life
Yeah but there’s only 2, and also, saying that you’re female when you have been born male, is saying that God made a mistake, and that is blasphemy, one of the worst redeemable sins

PLEASE READ ❤: The definition of gender identities are incredibly subjective. There is no right or wrong way to identify or express your gender. For example, two demigirls could describe the word demigirl entirely differently. The general desccription is that demigirls are agender but have an attachment to feminity. But demigirl A could go by she/her, and describe it as "i dont feel like a female, but its the closest thing to whatever I am, so I'm a demigirl." Demigirl B on the other hand could go by they/he, and describe it as "My gender is something else, but I also partially identify as a girl." that doesnt mean they aren't both demigirls, it just means that the word demigirl fits them in different ways, and at this point I think we're trying too hard to categorize people who don't need to be categorized. The whole point of gender identity and self expression isn't to be crammed into a box and to slap on a label. Sometimes it feels like the words we use to describe our unique gender experiences are just as restrictive as the binary...I've been told before that I'm "not trans enough," as if there's a strict criteria like I have to pass a test. Anyway I'll get off my soapbox. Take care, all you beautiful people. ❤❤❤
I am a female and I'm lesbian, I like women who have manners, who knows how to cook and also be kind to those who deserve it, I am currently courting a woman fitting of those descriptions, she's beautiful and absolutely cute. (Just sharing)
I love how the video didn’t start out on a „this is cisgender, this is what *normal* people feel like“ 😄 Very objective and sweetly explained. Good job on the creator

Then you prediction was correct. Read the first 10 top comments that predict a war and read the replies that they got. You'll see that the replies are more or less the same: just the commenters chilling and bringing up other topics
One of my favorite things about gender terms is that there are so many words that really just boil down to one thing: authenticity. Its so beautiful that humans have found so many ways to describe the way that make them feel most true to themselves.
Even though there are millions of words in the English language, there still aren't enough to express our complex thoughts and emotions, it makes sense that we create new words for things that people have always done for centuries but didn't express it through words.
As a demigirl, the pie chart analogy is actually very accurate. I have previously used pie charts to try and understand my own identity. I feel about 40% like a girl and the other 60% is a mix of: a completely muddled identity, a strictly non-binary third gender identity, and an agender identity. (The "other" part of demigenders can be anything)
yup! i'm a demigirl and use fem and androgynous pronouns and i've felt weird my entire life until i've found other people that feel the same way i do ^^
I reaaaaaaally want to show this to my mom Sadly I am not out as nb and I don’t want to risk her finding out by thinking “oooo they talk about it so they must identify with it” (this is literally how she found out my sexuality) 😔😔
Its actually crazy how people get mad about gender and gender identity. I dont think its that difficult for people to at the very least respect peoples pronouns and names and gender even if you don't agree with it.

okay im pretty damn stoked to see this video be pretty respectful towards trans people as a whole (as someone who is genderfluid haha) i do wanna note that a lot of trans people consider nonbinary to be an umbrella term as well, as in it encompasses all gender identities that aren't in the binary of girl or boy. some people identify as nonbinary on its own, while some get more specific about it (like identifying as genderfluid/genderqueer/agender/etc.). there really are no set rules to gender or how you choose to identify, but i thought i'd give a bit of clarification :).
also! the gender masc section is not all that correct at all :(. first, i dont recognize the term gender masc at all... the flag used is typically used as the transmasculine flag, a term for people who have transitioned to a masculine identity, so i imagine that's likely what was meant. secondly, the term "soft boy" is kind of contentious among trans masculine people. some like the term but lately there's been an aversion to it, as it's been used as a way to demean and make fun of trans guys before and can be seen as a stereotype. i dont mean this as an attack at all, i dont think this was out of malice at all or anything. again, i just wanted to offer a correction of sorts.
lmao you are brainrotten to the ground, actually worms inside your brain, also you are attention seeking lmao, genders is an excuse for terminally online nobodies with no personality to have something to assign themselves, there is a reason "genders" never existed before the internet and dont say because of "oppression" XD homosexuals existed for thousands of years, also intersex is not a gender :D, not a sex even, it is still male or female with abnormal amount of the opposite sex traits.
I genuinely think this will educate so many people , and its broken down in a way I believe a child on the internet can understand and grasp as well. Thank you !
Nah, they'll ignore it anyways, it's harder to educate a child than people think, and it's even harder when every child nowadays wants to be a red pilled sigma male or some shit
what’s the school in which state in which country in which continent in which planet in which world in which universe in which multiverse? because i wanna go there
Ok so I’ve never said this online bc I’m out irl and pass well so I’m kinda nervous but I’m transgender female to male and you described this perfectly :)
I stopped keeping track of these once I figured out I was agender in 7th grade. I played a pride flag game on roblox recently and was like "OH MY GOD HOW LONG IS THIS GAME?" it was over 200 levels and not even finished.
I want to cry... I had phantom limb for years. YEARS! I was so scared bc I couldn't talk to anyone and there was no research or therapist to talk to.. I repressed myself so hard for over 10 years and disconnected from all physical sensations. I'm so happy that this vid brought it up. No one should have to feel like I did, so scared and panicky.
As an agender person, I LOVE your description of being agender though i feel like it was a bit decisively "one way to be agender". Applies to the other stuff too, like i use it/he/they or it/they/she not just they/them. Also, you push the whole "you can choose" thing, which is just wrong.
This is actually one of the best explanations Ive found in a video As a genderfluid person its a relief to see my identities being represented pretty acurrate
There's some things could use subtle tweaks to explain better and more accurately, but over all this definitely seems good as at least a starting point to understand! Good job!
I watched because i was questioning if i was agender or nonbinary, and after this i can absolutely confirm i will bring my own snacks to the restaurant : )
I love that most of the comments are genuinely trying to understand the topic instead of straight up hating without even trying to understand the topic, The video is actually easy to understand and very informative

Explanation:
Sex is the whatever is in your pants, so it's also gender you were assigned at birth. (See edit)
There are only three sexes.

It’s interesting how some of these gender identities sound exactly the same like gender fluid and gender flux. What makes them different?
There’s certain nuances, but for the most part what sets them apart from gender fluidity is the fact most gender identities are “solid”, meaning they don’t shift. A cisgender person is always a man or a woman, a demigender person is always partly a man/woman and something extra, an agender person is always devoid of gender, so on and so forth.
I think genderflux is how strongly you cling to your gender identity that day. one day you might feel strongly masculine while the next day you feel agender
I'm a genderfluid person and I'll tell you, I do not feel identified/connected with genderflux at all. No matter how similar they may sound
Boyflux, Girlflux and Genderflux are examples of these, but.. yeah.. (I'm girlflux and found myself!)
thats just history, its all under the non-binary umbrella

You don't owe anyone an explanation of yourself, and you do what feels the best for yourself 🫶
I love you
tysm man, I needed this.
Thank you
You shouldn't get hate for saying that tbh
I mean I find the whole thing ridiculous, I will debate people on this topic, but absolutely nobody going out of their way to harass these people has a life

okay im pretty damn stoked to see this video be pretty respectful towards trans people as a whole (as someone who is genderfluid haha)
i do wanna note that a lot of trans people consider nonbinary to be an umbrella term as well, as in it encompasses all gender identities that aren't in the binary of girl or boy. some people identify as nonbinary on its own, while some get more specific about it (like identifying as genderfluid/genderqueer/agender/etc.). there really are no set rules to gender or how you choose to identify, but i thought i'd give a bit of clarification :).
also! the gender masc section is not all that correct at all :(. first, i dont recognize the term gender masc at all... the flag used is typically used as the transmasculine flag, a term for people who have transitioned to a masculine identity, so i imagine that's likely what was meant. secondly, the term "soft boy" is kind of contentious among trans masculine people. some like the term but lately there's been an aversion to it, as it's been used as a way to demean and make fun of trans guys before and can be seen as a stereotype. i dont mean this as an attack at all, i dont think this was out of malice at all or anything. again, i just wanted to offer a correction of sorts.
lmao you are brainrotten to the ground, actually worms inside your brain, also you are attention seeking lmao, genders is an excuse for terminally online nobodies with no personality to have something to assign themselves, there is a reason "genders" never existed before the internet and dont say because of "oppression" XD homosexuals existed for thousands of years, also intersex is not a gender :D, not a sex even, it is still male or female with abnormal amount of the opposite sex traits.
