Glad Market went well. You are such a creative lady! Nothing better than your fur babies welcoming you home. 🙂 I don’t do much of the gardening but I always look forward to the lilacs flowering. In the backyard, the whole width of our yard is lilac and it smells so nice when they are in bloom.
Oh lilacs are my favorite and I love the fragrance! It's a few months away for us here, although they are showing signs of life so I need to be patient. 🤣❤️
Hi, love the measuring tool and those so cute bobbins. I look forward every year to my beautiful pink peonies coming into bloom, such a luscious pretty flower. 🌸🌼
So glad to see you again. It was great to see your market set up. I think it is so much fun to see how everyone displays their charts and finishes. I always enjoy seeing your dogs too. Lady.
I always love growing cherry tomatoes and morning glories. I used to be quite the plant lady, but moved to Texas and don’t know how to grow things here.
I have a huge Douglas fir tree outside of my apartment and I get to see the red squirrels (although they get a gray coat in the winter) run up and down the tree, and see them jump from the roof onto the tree branches and from the tree branches onto the roof. One morning I looked up to see one of them peeking over the roof line into my apartment slider. It make my day as I love, love squirrels ♥ I'm so happy that you had a lady friend with you to make sure you ate your peas and carrots! Love your stitching Janeen, and I really need to get busy and stitch the squirrel chart I have by you!
Love your dogs, they must have been so happy you were home! Love all your designs and thank you for sharing!❤it was very interesting about the squirrels!
Your squirrel patterns are my absolute favorite to stitch. I’ve gotten so many opportunities to purchase them and have stitched the winter and spring so far. They are so cute!!! Thanks for telling us about the Eastern gray squirrel. We had families of them at our house we just sold. I’m looking forward to seeing what we have when spring actually happens here in NY. Thanks so much sweet lady for gifting us all with your talents!!
I'm so very glad that you like the squirrels! I had such fun designing them, and it brings back memories of seeing squirrels in the yard for me as well. ❤️
❤. Great video! So lovely to catch up! I love watching our local squirrels gather up their stash for the winter. Sometimes, they try and go for my potted hydrangea plant! I will say un- lady like words to them to shoo them way. Then I get their chattering back to me! 😂❤
Oh I love your jadeite stand for the Bees in the Greenhouse stitch. I just received that chart from 123 stitch and now it looks like I'll have to hit the antique stores also. And the hunt is on. The lady scissors are just lovely. I sold my house a few years back but when I had it my very favorite things were peonies and black/brown eyed susans. I liked that they were so easy to separate and spread around the yard. Enjoy being home and getting your energy back.
Thank you! And while I do have some vintage jadeite, that particular one is a new one from Mosser Glass if you want the particular size. We had lovely peonies at our Portland house and are trying to grow some here. We had one bush doing well until Rye arrived and dug it up, and now there's a new one starting (behind the fence where it's safe). 🤣❤️
My “In Praise of Pollinators” pattern arrived today! I’m so excited to stitch this. Good for you in finding balance in life…I really respect your need to limit events and work at a pace that feels better for you.
Loved your information about the squirrels. We have a large LADY squirrel and two small squirrels who visit us in our backyard in the trees and tease our Iris Setter. My husband built a two room squirrel house on a high post and we love to watch them run jump and run up the trees. I just love your patterns and have purchased three so far. Keep up the great stitching.
My favorite garden plant in the summer is cucumber. There is nothing better than a fresh cucumber either by itself, with a meal, or even in a sandwich with mayo and a little salt & pepper. Sounds like you are having a grand time with the different activities that go along with your craft. Dealing with a bad back is a tough one; and so nice you had a friend to understand and be helpful. I am a lady who gets a little annoyed with the gray squirrels here. They are huge lol.
I totally agree about cucumber - ours didn't do well last year (first time starting them from seed) so this year I'm getting the seeds going earlier and switching to some varieties specifically for the high desert climate. Fingers crossed! And good luck against the giant squirrels. 🤣❤️
What fun the doggies had in the snow. Bet a long nap was taken after the one ran round & round in the snowy yard. Your tool information was interesting and I especially like the Lady scissors. Take care of yourself so you can continue designing your beautiful pieces for us to stitch.
A pleasure catching up with you! I love the Lady scissors, so special. My favorite garden crop would be string beans, love to be able to harvest enough to freeze for later in the year. Rest up, get some stitching in when you can.
You know, we've been trying to grow string beans but haven't been successful yet (although our little dog loves to eat the few that we have grown). I'm trying a new kind this year that supposedly likes our high heat and altitude a bit better - fingers crossed! ❤️
Happy to hear you are considering yourself care needs. Hooray for the Eastern Grey Squirrel who with buddies is called a scurry or squad. As you were talking, I kept envisioning the Scrat from the Ice Age movies always chasing that acorn. Our summer garden always includes herbs like basil and parsley and flowers that include sunflowers, zinnias and marigolds. Love the vibrant colors. Good to see the pups too. Stay well !
I love the herbs as well (and not just because I can actually manage to grow most of them!) There's something so wonderful about going out to the garden for fresh herbs when you're cooking, isn't there? ❤️
As a fellow dog lady, I can just imagine your delight and theirs as you walked in the door! Thanks for your flosstube. I love your designs, the calm way you explain about all the interesting animals we share our days with and of course the cool videos of your furry family.
I need to learn your tricks! We haven't had great success with green beans yet, but our little dog loves to eat the little beans when we get them. Anything crunchy is perfect for him. ❤️
I always love your puppy videos. All your new designs are amazing, you are very talented. The Lady scissors are very beautiful, you are so generous and kind. Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy all the information you provide.
Hey, love that you are teaching again this year at the ball! My little lady Nyla, who is 1-yr-old, said "squirrel" as her third word. She has a great view of the dozens of Easter gray squirrels that scamper across our yard. Her playroom window is like watching a Disney movie. Hope you have some great self-care time this spring!
So much fun learning about grey squirrels. Yes they are so cute. Never lived where they are wild so when I did get see them always fun to watch. You are such a smart Lady always teaching us something interesting!
I have really enjoyed watching, as a gardening Lady I have to get my hands some a set of those Putini Putini pins they are adorable, I always love to see to doggie pics, I am sure life is never dull with those guys.
My favorite flowers are bleeding heart and columbine, two spring plants in New England. Since I moved to Florida a while back I don’t see them often. I’m happy to see a new video especially since you are such a busy lady! Welcome back home and stitching!
Oh yes! We always had bleeding heart in our Portland garden, but I struggled with columbine (apparently they like more company than I was giving them). They're just so lovely, aren't they? ❤️
I would love to learn how to do a stand up. The lady liberty scissors are amazing! I need some of those in my life. Glad you are home and back to regular life. 🎉
So glad to see you back from market … your new releases were top notch. I can only imagine how exhausting it can be. Three days just seems so short for the amount of designers and shops that attend. I share your happy sentiment about being back to your home and family and pets. I have become a big time homebody and I really miss our Golden, Reesee, when we are away for extended periods. 20:51 I really enjoyed listening to your “talk” about the eastern gray squirrel but was really laughing inside because they are quite a nuisance on our property and in our neighborhoods. We have had many a battle chasing them off the bird feeders and keeping them from digging in my flower gardens for 28 yrs now. We have succumbed though and have just learned to deal with them. In a few short days we will see and hear all the babies scurrying around our large backyard trees and running across the top of our property fence. It is fun to watch the littles playing and chasing each other around the trees and yard. And boy can they run fast and leap far! Unfortunately, the hawks are on the lookout for the nests and babies, as well as the many multiplying rabbits we have under our porches and sheds. The bunny and squirrel babies don’t have much of a chance when the hawks are hovering. I thought you’d enjoy hearing this east coast resident’s stories about the eastern gray squirrel. Even more fascinating is that we have seen two albino squirrels in the neighborhood. Now onto cross stitch, I loved seeing the stitching on a tee shirt. Thank you for passing that information on. I will definitely have to check that out. Loved the lady liberty scissors as well. Happy stitching and stay well!
I love hearing about your neighborhood gray squirrels! I totally understand that they can be a nuisance, although we've always had cats and dogs when we lived with squirrels so I've never seen a baby. I did have one launch from a tree to my head, once, when I was out walking the dogs! I think he was just looking for a better angle because he leapt off again onto the trunk and started chasing another squirrel around it. 🤣 It was so fast that the dogs didn't even have time to react! We would sometimes put a bit of peanut butter on a tree branch for the squirrels and they loved it. ❤️
W have gray squirrels and ground squirrels here. I like the gray squirrels best! It’s always nice to come home when I’ve gone away. And happy puppies make it all the better!
My favorite garden plant is Bolero roses. I’ve even tried them in the low desert of Arizona and they’ve survived their first year! I get them from Heirloom Roses out of Oregon, who grow them on their own rootstock, which really helps. Love, love, love them!
Oh I love Heirloom Roses! They are a game changer for tough climates, aren't they? I haven't put in any Bolero, though, but I'm sure I could find room for some.... 🤣❤️
Awww, so happy that Rye was so happy to see you. Thank you again for an amazing experience. My favorite things to plant are tomatoes. I love them for salads and also to made yard sauce for soup and spaghetti sauce. Take care my friend!
The video showing your models at Market was fun to see, lovely to see them in one place. I am looking at a few of your patterns now that I pre-ordered and have next to my stitching chair!
Another lovely video🤓 I love coming home to the animals after being away! My favorite plant to grow is any type of hosta - I have had several varieties. Roma tomatoes grow like crazy for us - I make sauce that lasts in the freezer for months👩🏼🍳
How wonderful that they grow well! We're still learning, so we tend to eat all the (small) tomato harvest as soon as it's ripe, but maybe someday we'll grow enough to make sauce. ❤️
We enjoy planting Japanese Maple trees. We have quite a few of them. The deer have broken off a few while the tree was young and it actually grew back! I took your biscornu class last year and really enjoyed it. I would take a class on this again as it was so fun and I loved the finished product. I imagine others that didn't have the opportunity to attend may also be interested. Otherwise if you are looking for something different, a small drum would be of interest.
I loved all the information on the squirrels. In my backyardin Connecticut, we have plenty of grey squirrels and also black ones. They use to only be seen in Mass. but have made their way to CT. I love seeing them! I love seeing all the white Daffodils and Hyacinths in my front yard, they just brighten the whole front yard and their perfume fills the air! lady
Aren't they lovely? Something about the fragrance of spring flowers just has so much more impact - maybe because we're extra alert to anything fresh and blooming this time of year. ❤️
Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous travel case, so perfect for all things stitchy related, I am hoping to finish two small pillows this weekend I I time for Easter, I so wish I could get some Lady dot chenille, as I think it makes such a lovely trim finish.
I really enjoyed Your FlossTube today. I loved watching Your black & white Greyhound play in the snow, although I have to admit that I was glad the snow was at your house and not mine.😊 I don't do snow to well these days. As for the squirrel info, the only thing that I would add is that they are very dangerous to dogs. I had a dog that nearly ran himself to exhaustion whilst chasing one. Later the dumb dog caught one of his enemies and we spent a fortune getting his face and neck repaired at the Vet's office. There took over 150 stitches to repair the damage that squirrel's teeth did to his face. Fortunately he was a large mixed breed so that all it got to was his face and neck before the silly pupper killed it. So please don't let your dogs chase squirrels as the potential for serious damage is always there. I really enjoyed seeing your pictures of your Market set up. All the haul that you brought home was wonderful!! I'm particularly interested in the plastic stitchers helper. Could you please let me know again where you got it?? Those Lady scissors arereally beautiful as are the curved ones. Did You get them at t 20:51 he same place? Thank You for Your kindness and beautiful patterns. Linda
Oh how terrible about your dog! Fortunately ours have to be on leash when they walk, and any squirrels they have encountered have immediately darted for cover. But they have been good about not chasing things (except the little tiny mice that sometimes come in the yard) and we have plenty of birds milling about. Rye is very upset by hot air balloons, though, and gives those a thorough barking when she sees them. 🤣 I'm not certain whether the scissors came from the same place - I got mine from The Scissorist/Tres Chic Stitchery as their booth is next to mine at market. ❤️
I completely understand your travel issues. I get so excited to go somewhere, then when we are driving home I can’t stand how long it takes to get home! lol. I saw on the news that you guys got quite a bit of snow! Wow, Mosiac really likes it! So cute. I’m glad you didn’t come home sick. It sounds like a few people brought Covid home. Interesting about the squirrels. Of course in Fresno we have tree and ground squirrels. Lady ❤
A lot of people did get sick. I tried to take precautions against spreading anything (we were rigorous about wiping down pens, etc. in the room) and I'm very relieved that the germs didn't catch me. It's always something I'm nervous about, because I'd hate to be the reason other people get sick. But it's hard at market because we're all together in a small space and there's a lot of hugging! 🤣❤️
Interesting to learn about squirrels! I’m usually annoyed by them since they are digging in my garden. 😂 my favorite thing to grown in my garden is green beans. They are my favorite veggie to eat and they seem to do well for me. The lady liberty scissors look so fancy!!
I love green beans! They didn't do well for us last year, so I'm trying some new varieties this year (specifically chosen for high desert environments) so fingers crossed we'll have better luck. ❤️
I hope you are feeling better…it’s an awful feeling to be so tired. Good plan to do one trip away a year! Your Pollinator design was so popular at market…well done!! I love those squirrels…always such a delight to watch their busy little ways.
They are such fun to watch, aren't they? There is a rhododendron garden near where we lived in Portland. The squirrels there would actually take a peanut from your hand if you were calm and patient! ❤️
Good for you for taking care of YOU! That is a really wise move and I support you in that. Too often we figure that out too late! One thing I would like to learn in a class is how to wrap a wooden hoop to finish a Christmas Ornament in it. I was raised in foster homes but had a loving grandmother who taught me how to be a lady, she even taught me to modulate my voice!
Thank you for the video. Lady was the name of my daughters aussie dog. lady was so gentle and well trained that we sure enjoyed her. There are so many things I 2nt to learn that I m lucky to have many books on needle arts. I enjoy you dogs and lov3 to see them.
Oh I'm so glad! I was quite nervous about how that one would be received - I wanted to capture the vibrant life of nature but was worried it would just seem chaotic. ❤️
Lady Liberty is so sweet!!! I hadn’t seen that pair before. Traveling is fun when I arrive at my destination and then when it’s time to go home, that’s my focus, home! I totally get it. Glad you’re taking a break. Self care is so important ❤
I have a scurry of 11 squirrels that I feed an assortment of good bird seed (fruit and nuts) peanuts and sunflower seeds and dried corn on the cob. They are very familiar to me and I can recognize several by markings. They bring me so much joy! I am the Peanut Lady❤
I would love a class on cross stitch pattern design! As for garden plants, I love vines- grapes, cucumbers, peas, squashes, and for flowering plants, I am obsessed with clematis. I have several dozen of different types and different colors.
I have always been intimidated by clematis - I get tangled up trying to decide how to prune them. But they don't love the climate here so I haven't tried them in a few years. ❤️
@@theblueflower2115 The pruning can get tricky, but someone once told me that pruning them “incorrectly” won’t kill them- they may just bloom a little later. That made me feel much better! 😂. There are many smaller/ shorter clematis which do well in containers. Not sure if that’s an option in your area. Happy gardening! 😍🌱
@@AlisaHof That is good to know, thank you! And containers would probably be the best choice for us. I've been hoping to add a few more raised garden beds in the yard and that might be the prefect spot to pop in a nice clematis as well!
I hope you're enjoying a lovely Dallas spring! I really struggled to grow things while I was there, I think because I was still trying to grow Oregon things and they really didn't like the climate. 😭❤️
Thank you for another wonderful video. I will be praying for your back & recovery of your health. May you rest & be renewed. 🙏🏻 I actually love squirrels. 🐿️ We have a squirrel that lives in our yard. I think they are so cute. You are a sweet Lady to be so generous with your time, talents, & gifts! Thank you for your kindness!
Thank you so much, I am feeling much better. I need to be more consistent with yoga and stretching, since both my jobs involve a lot of sitting down! 🤣❤️
So happy market went well! I don't have a vegetable garden but I do have tons of flowers in my yard. I don't know what many of them are called but there is this one that has these micro white flowers that look like roses but are only 1/4" big. My friend is a big gardening lady and is always bringing me over fresh zucchini and squash (my favorite!)
Oh those sound lovely! I don't know what they're called either, but maybe I'll look at the nursery in a few months and see if I can find anything like that. ❤️
I live in Oregon. The squirels here eat my Camillia flowers and Crocus corms. Luckily I grow a lot of both, so I can share. They do bury some of the Crocus corms so they "naturalize" in my yard. I garden and love all of my plants. Choosing one summer plant as a favorite is really hard. I have a very large collection of pelargonium geraniums in pots. They have to be moved every fall for winter protection. Then returned to their summer homes in the late spring. A lot of them are really old plants in heavy 18" clay pots. Because I must put a lot of effort into their growth & survival I guess they could be called my favorite summer plant. Lady
I've never grown that type of geraniums, although we did have the volunteer geraniums in our yard all the time. But we used to go to Leavenworth WA for vacation and they had lovely geraniums in the window boxes - they were so beautiful!❤️
Oh yes, tomatoes from the garden are so wonderful! We have a lot of tomato seeds carefully planted in the garage, with their warming mats and grow lights ready to get a head start on summer. ❤️
So glad you will be back for Jingle Ball 😊 I look forward to the flowering of the Butterfly Bushes and Salvia in my garden because they attract the bees and butterflies. I don’t have much luck growing vegetables other than tomatoes. I try to grow squash and zucchini but between the squirrels and wild rabbits I don’t end up with very many. Lady
I love those as well, and I can actually grow them so it's an extra bonus! Fortunately the rabbits haven't invaded our yard yet - I think the dogs keep them out even though the garden is fenced off. If they ever figure it out they'll have a feast. 🤣❤️
Always look forward to your videos! Looks like a very successful Market for you! Yay! Lady scissors look fabulous! I have squirrels daily mostly brown but the occasional black. I was gifted for Christmas a bird cam and they have figured out how to steal the food! So fun to watch though 😅. Dog welcome home are the best!
My favorite garden plant is a tomato plant. There's nothing better than eating a tomato fresh off the vine! I enjoy your videos; Your voice is so soothing and I learn something with each one. Those lady Liberty scissors are beautiful!
Loved your video, Spring is approaching I have my seeds all planted indoor. I think my favorite vegetable is tomatoes. My garden is a combination of flowers and veggies. I also rent a plot at the college they have a program for community gardens. I plant there as well. It is a place where everyone has their plot and plants in the fall it’s a great time when everyone harvests. Squirrels are many where we live I have one that I call mr. Nutty pants. The birds are also my favorite to watch outside my window I have two bird houses and watching momma bird with babies. I recently filled bird feeders and it was a frenzy party outside great to watch. Take care glad you will be part of the jingle ball
We have also set up our indoor seed nursery. I haven't had one before because we didn't have space in the house (because RYE) but we set things up in the garage this year so I check them every day to see if they're sprouting. I love that you have access to a community garden space as well - I really wish we had more of those as a normal part of our community spaces. They are so lovely and such a good time to get to know people and learn from other gardeners. ❤️
Thank you! I love flowers as well - I'm trying to put flowers in between all the veg so it's attractive for pollinators (and so I don't feel bad if the vegetables don't grow). ❤️
That cross stitch ruler is genius! I'm glad you had a good time at Market, but I can understand that it's exhausting. I hope you get some time for some nice relaxing stitching in the next few weeks.
Isn't it great? They show prototypes at last market and I was so excited to see the final product. I've been catching up and relaxing, and even got in some personal stitching so all is well. ❤️
Hi Jeannine❤. I always love coming home to my pets it's the best thing ever. I am so so so so so so so excited to see you at Jingle Ball this year. I absolutely loved seeing and learning from you last year. I think I would like to learn how to do the little greenhouse finish from your market release this year. Maybe it could be an elf's house or a reindeer barn? Lol lol. Again so great to see your beautiful face again ❤ Michelle.
I've had a few requests, and I'd love to do a holiday version of the greenhouse shape. I'm thinking maybe a Christmas Carousel? But I love the idea of a reindeer barn as well. ❤️
Oh my goodness how cute is your design on a t shirt, I will definitely be looking into that idea, I tend to wear plain T,s too I think I would a very stylish Lady wearing T with a hand stitched design, Glad the energy levels are returning to normal after market.
They wreak havoc on my Dogwood trees and rhododendrons. Good thing they are so cute. I am in the Appalachian mountains in WV. They have a battle with my husband over his bird feeders and they will drain a hummingbird feeder. Cone flowers and monarda are my favorite summer plants.
They are wily and persistent! On the one hand you have to respect the skills, but it's hard to appreciate them when you are dealing with their havoc. 🤣❤️
Thank goodness for the internet! I'm old enough to remember when you had to rely on the library and encyclopedia to learn anything (and there were nowhere near as many pictures). 🤣❤️
Hi! Glad you had a successful Market experience. I love the Lady Liberty scissors. So happy you will be at Jingle Ball again. I loved the Biscornu class and would love to do another.
I love cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden and of course my flowers !!! AZ gets snow?!!! I would love to learn how to make charts.. I would love to design cross stitch patterns!!!’
We're actually in northern Nevada (in the Sierra Nevada mountains, close to Lake Tahoe) and they got a surprise foot of snow while I was in Nashville! And I wish I knew how to teach cross stitch design - my approach so far has been to muddle around until I get something that I like. 😭🤣❤️
@@theblueflower2115 your designs are beautiful- the pollinators chart is stunning Lake Tahoe area makes sense .. just crazy seeing your dogs running in the snow.. I’m in SW PA we get snow during the winter- this winter so far has been mild - thank goodness…. I hate snow ❄️
Your designs were a hit at Market, but that is not surprising! I am thrilled you will be at this year's Jingle Ball. I took your biscornu class last year and I can say with confidence that anything you decide to teach, I will sign up for it. Enjoy spring!
We need something small to set the new floss bobbins and floss drops so sit in so we can decorate with them. Tomato’s and Cumber are two. Don’t for get to plant your marigold plants to keep away certain pest. They don’t like the small. My dogs name is lady. Beading would be a little different. 😊
Oh that would be good - I'd love to have them displayed (up high, so Rye can't nibble...). And I think we do better with marigolds in our garden than cucumbers and tomatoes so far! But it's no hardship to have beautiful flowers. Please give Lady a hug from me. ❤️
I love that you wore a beautiful shade of green for St Patrick’s day , I hope you had a lovely day, I have so enjoyed hearing all about market, I think I have watched every video that flosstubers had about it, you are a very generous Lady , the scissors look fabulous and would be a real asset to my stitching basket.
I love that you've been watching market videos - it's a good way to get a sense of things even if you can't be there. And while I wish I could take credit for a holiday-themed shirt, I actually forgot about St Patrick's Day. But green is my favorite color so I'm very likely to be wearing it anyway! 🤣❤️
I would be so happy if I could grow tomatoes! The squirrels and birds always mess with them just as they get ripe though. I'm going to make an effort this year to keep up with hummer feeders. Mostly, I'll be in the house lol.
We had that same problem when we lived in Texas - the squirrels took every single tomato. They would even sit on the fence and eat them right in front of us! 🤣❤️
We have gray Squirrels here I WI. I have a favorite that I named Chuckie. He waits every morning for me to throw out bread crusts for him. 😁 I can't wait for Spring to see my favorite flower, the Iris to come up. Those scissors have a pretty lady on them. Marilyn
I am not a lady who manages to grow anything. I did grow all kind of vegetables when kids were small but I think it was too difficult compared to what you got after all moles and insects eating your hard work. I trust the nature and the mushrooms and berries that I pick in the autumn.
That sounds lovely! Mushrooms are some of my favorites, and I'd love to grow them. But in the desert I'd need to work a bit harder to set up a good environment for them. ❤️
The Lady Liberty scissors are beautiful. I like growing okra...it has the most beautiful blooms and my husband and I like it. (We bread it and fry it and also cook it with tomatoes and bacon.) For flowers, well actually it is a bush, it would have to be lilacs. I grew up in Ohio (zone 6a) but now live in North Carolina (zone 8a), so the only lilacs I can grow here is the Miss Kim, but I just love the scent of lilacs! Have a great Easter!
I don't think I've ever seen okra growing in person - I'll have to look up and see whether it likes the conditions here! (And I love lilacs as well - my personal favorites) ❤️
Thank goodness for the internet! I'm old enough to remember when the only information source was the library encyclopedia - it's much easier these days. ❤️
Lady bugs in my garden are my favorites. I have a medium sized butterfly garden which is a certified monarch waystation. Not much food for me but plenty of milkweed and cone flowers,
Congrats on market! Beautiful designs per usual…so glad you’ll be back at the Jingle Ball❤ I’ve been thinking about those Animal Cracker charts and those Kathy Barrick smalls shaped like animals but am intimidated. How fun would it be to do holiday shapes in a class? You do such beautiful plants: holly leaves and then finish as shapes or amaryllis, poinsettia? Or some creatures (I’m partial to plants). But that’s my class idea 😊 ~Elise
I love squirrels, but we have more grey than red where I live, but I still love to see them, there are two beautiful parks close to where I live and I enjoy walking and seeing the critters and spring bulbs appearing, oh your back eases soon, there is nothing worse than being in constant pain, big hugs beautiful lady.
The arrival of spring is so wonderful, isn't it? Those spring bulbs are so lovely and colorful, and they small wonderful as well. It's a little early here but we do have daffodils coming up and they always lift my spirits. ❤️
A "squirrely" floss tube???? Love it! Have had many encounters in the past, all wonderful. I finally finished "Happy Campers" -- the 40 count was challenging, but so worth it at the end. Now to FFO. Looking forward to the next Jingle Ball, it's so much fun. I'm a homebody, so I know the pleasure of walking in your own door and having your fur-kids so excited to see you. And love your hairdo!
I'm so glad you liked Happy Campers! And please never feel like you need to use the same count fabric as I used - I'm just rubbish at stitching with two threads so I generally use 40 count but that's entirely personal preference. ❤️
What fantastic goodies you picked up at market, I love the Lady Liberty scissors and so many used for the ruler, way to go,,,,, Squirrel t shirt is awesome, .
You're a lovely lady, and smart to take your well being into account as you plan and prepare your events. I grow many plants and trees, but nothing beats the blooming wisteria in the late spring, the fragrance and those beautiful pendant racemes.
Thank you so much! We have a wisteria vine at the house (planted by the previous owner) but it was in pretty bad shape when we moved in so we have been coaxing it back to health and waiting for our first flowers. ❤️
How great that your shirt has lasted this long! Now I really need to try one and see if I can keep it nice for quite a while as well (no gardening in the cross stitched shirt!) ❤️
Love the Olympic style music for the Market setup. I am not a gardener, but my favorite plant is tomatoes, any type of 🍅. I also love flowers. The Lady scissors are beautiful! I haven’t developed a scissor addiction yet. 😹. For the Jingle Ball, I don’t have a suggestion. But I will be there!
Hey Jeanine, My favorite from the garden would have to be cucumbers. I found a great easy recipe for cucumber dip. As far as a class, I'm not sure. I love learning. I know what you mean about being home. I'm such a homebody. Lady
We love cucumbers as well, but ours really struggled last year. I might try a combination of transplants and seed starts this year to cover all the bases. 🤣❤️
Oh they are wonderful, aren't they? And I love the way they come up out of the ground with the new growth that lovely red color. ❤️
So glad to see you again. It was great to see your market set up. I think it is so much fun to see how everyone displays their charts and finishes. I always enjoy seeing your dogs too. Lady.
It really is such fun to see - everyone sets up their room differently and they're so creative! ❤️
Love all your new releases and thank you for sharing puppy video. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
I always love growing cherry tomatoes and morning glories. I used to be quite the plant lady, but moved to Texas and don’t know how to grow things here.
I was the same way when we moved to Texas. All my reliable plants didn't like the heat there! ❤️
How fun to see them so close to your house! And I can only imagine that little face peering in through the glass door. 🤣❤️
Love your dogs, they must have been so happy you were home! Love all your designs and thank you for sharing!❤it was very interesting about the squirrels!
It really makes you feel wonderful, doesn't it, when your dogs are SO excited to see you. 🤣❤️
oh yes definitely !
I always enjoy your videos. I stitch alone early in the morning and it feels like you are keeping me company! 🙂
Oh thank you! I so appreciate that you're sharing your time with me. ❤❤
I love your calm program. All the details you bring to FlossTube are fantastic! Thank you lovely lady!
Thank you so much! It's a real treat spending time together and I get to learn about something fun every video. ❤️
Glad you are rested from Market. The Lady Scissors are beautiful. You can never have too many scissors!
I totally agree! I love having lots of scissor options. ❤️
❤. Great video! So lovely to catch up! I love watching our local squirrels gather up their stash for the winter. Sometimes, they try and go for my potted hydrangea plant! I will say un- lady like words to them to shoo them way. Then I get their chattering back to me! 😂❤
But the hydrangea is so pretty! And it's easy to dig in pots! 🤣🤣❤️
Yay! I hope you like stitching it, and please let me know if you have any questions. ❤️
Thank you! And I love that your squirrels can frolic AND entertain your dog safely. ❤❤🤣🤣
She is such a typical greyhound - a little romp and then a big nap! 🤣❤️
It is a lovely way to come home, isn't it? 🤣❤️
My favorite thing to grow in the garden is green beans. They always seem to grow well and they are delicious, too. Enjoyed the visit! 💜
Thank you! I have such fun learning about something new for every video. ❤️
Oh she must have so much fun with that window! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
So much fun learning about grey squirrels. Yes they are so cute. Never lived where they are wild so when I did get see them always fun to watch. You are such a smart Lady always teaching us something interesting!
Oh, thank you! I always enjoy learning about something new. ❤️
I have really enjoyed watching, as a gardening Lady I have to get my hands some a set of those Putini Putini pins they are adorable, I always love to see to doggie pics, I am sure life is never dull with those guys.
She makes the most wonderful pins, I love having them as well. And the dogs do keep us on our toes! ❤️
Lady…sure enjoyed this Floss Tube, thank you! Loving your new patterns!
Thank you so much! ❤️
I would love to learn that as well! 🤣❤️
Thank you for sharing your talent with us. You seem to be an awesome lady!
I really enjoyed listening to your “talk” about the eastern gray squirrel but was really laughing inside because they are quite a nuisance on our property and in our neighborhoods.
Yes, lady, keep your schedule open to design. Your work is amazing
Thank you so much! I admit, I always feel more relaxed when I have time to design and stitch. ❤️
Cutest dogs, nothing like coming home to your fur babies! Thank you for sharing your market hotel room some of us never get to see that. Lady.
I'm so glad! I will try to do a better video next year. ❤️
W have gray squirrels and ground squirrels here. I like the gray squirrels best! It’s always nice to come home when I’ve gone away. And happy puppies make it all the better!
They make everything better, don't they? 🤣❤️
@@theblueflower2115 They most certainly do! ❤️
Enjoy your designs. I like to walk in the woods to look for lady slippers.🦋
I've never actually seen a lady slipper orchid in real life, but they're so lovely! ❤️
Awww, so happy that Rye was so happy to see you. Thank you again for an amazing experience. My favorite things to plant are tomatoes. I love them for salads and also to made yard sauce for soup and spaghetti sauce. Take care my friend!
She was absolutely thrilled! And thank you so much for helping me - I really couldn't have managed without you. ❤️
My sincere pleasure and the very least I can do for all of your kindness!!
The video showing your models at Market was fun to see, lovely to see them in one place. I am looking at a few of your patterns now that I pre-ordered and have next to my stitching chair!
Thank you so much! ❤️
Another lovely video🤓
I love coming home to the animals after being away!
That's a great idea, thank you! I might be able to add a second biscornu class, if there's enough interest. And aren't Japanese Maples lovely?! ❤️
I totally agree - it's a lovely finish and so easy to work with! ❤️
Lady scissors are so nice. I love to plant red geraniums and of course my vegetable garden with lots of tomatoes. Glad you are home to your animals.
I think garden tomatoes are pretty much the absolute best. I'm still learning how to grow them but it's worth the effort for that delicious result!
Love your squirrel patterns on the table!
Thank you! They were the free chart and the cookbook chart (and those little wooden frames make finishing so easy). ❤️
Oh that's a great idea - I'd love to learn that myself! And I'm so glad you had a loving grandmother in your life. ❤️❤️
Thank you for the video. Lady was the name of my daughters aussie dog. lady was so gentle and well trained that we sure enjoyed her. There are so many things I 2nt to learn that I m lucky to have many books on needle arts. I enjoy you dogs and lov3 to see them.
Oh, Lady sounds like such a sweetheart! ❤️
There is nothing like coming home to your pups! Lady.
I was remiss I saying how much I love your designs, can’t wait to start In Search of Pollinators. One of my favorites ever! Thank you.
Oh I'm so glad! I was quite nervous about how that one would be received - I wanted to capture the vibrant life of nature but was worried it would just seem chaotic. ❤️
Well I think since I understand it was one of the top sellers at market, it was a hot! You should be proud!
Lady Liberty is so sweet!!! I hadn’t seen that pair before. Traveling is fun when I arrive at my destination and then when it’s time to go home, that’s my focus, home! I totally get it. Glad you’re taking a break. Self care is so important ❤
Lady it looks like you had a beautiful room at market this year
😊
Thank you! ❤️
I have a scurry of 11 squirrels that I feed an assortment of good bird seed (fruit and nuts) peanuts and sunflower seeds and dried corn on the cob. They are very familiar to me and I can recognize several by markings. They bring me so much joy! I am the Peanut Lady❤
You sound like the Peanut Fairy! (Peanut Goddess?) How fun to have a scurry so close that you can get to know them. ❤️
Welcome Back! Your market displays were a treat to see and I’m so glad you will be part of the Jingle Ball! Love seeing your dogs as well.
Thank you so much! I only wish I could have done a better video presentation. ❤️
Greetings from Dallas! I love roses and snapdragons in my garden. Lady. Thanks so much!
My favorite garden veggie is the tomato I have memories of planting tomatoes with my grandfather. You are such a sweet lady. Enjoyed your video.
Oh that must be so fun to watch! I can only imagine what they get up to in pursuit of that delicious birdseed. ❤️
There's nothing like coming home to the puppers 🥰
My favorite garden plant is a tomato plant. There's nothing better than eating a tomato fresh off the vine! I enjoy your videos; Your voice is so soothing and I learn something with each one. Those lady Liberty scissors are beautiful!
I totally agree! Our tomato seeds have been tucked into the sprouting nursery in the garage, trying to get a jump start on the season. ❤️
I am a Lady who loves flowers in her garden. Thanks for the great video. 🎉
My fav garden plant is a Big Boy tomato to eat and then Knock Out roses to just enjoy. Lady Liberty!
I would eat ALL the tomatoes as well. ❤️
I’ll be stitching Queen of Freedom this summer. The lady scissors would be perfect!
Oh yes, they would be! ❤️
Oh my goodness how cute is your design on a t shirt, I will definitely be looking into that idea, I tend to wear plain T,s too I think I would a very stylish Lady wearing T with a hand stitched design, Glad the energy levels are returning to normal after market.
Pretty soon we'll both have a full selection of "fancy" t-shirts! 🤣❤️
I your knowledge of Animals ❤ Love the Lady Liberty scissors
@@theblueflower2115 your designs are beautiful- the pollinators chart is stunning
Lake Tahoe area makes sense .. just crazy seeing your dogs running in the snow..
Oh, thank you so much! Now I just need to think of something to teach. 🤣❤️
I can't wait for Spring to see my favorite flower, the Iris to come up.
Those scissors have a pretty lady on them.

Lucky Chuckie! We used to put peanut butter on a tree branch for squirrels in Portland - they loved it. 🤣❤️
Another fabulously fascinating flosstube, you are a very knowledgeable Lady, I love learning new things, have a lovely week.
Thank goodness for the internet! I'm old enough to remember when the only information source was the library encyclopedia - it's much easier these days. ❤️
Lady bugs in my garden are my favorites. I have a medium sized butterfly garden which is a certified monarch waystation. Not much food for me but plenty of milkweed and cone flowers,
That's wonderful! I've started trying to establish some milkweed in our garden, but it's new so not very productive yet. ❤️
I love your designs so much! I have a scissor obsession as well and the Lady Liberty scissors would be a nice addition.
Ooh, that would be fun, wouldn't it? I need to think about that. ❤️
One thing I'm looking forward to seeing in my flower garden this season are the lady bugs and dragon flies. Thanks for sharing the dogs with us 😊.
Fabulous travel bag, I’ll bet you were one happy lady using it, love the photos.
You are a great lady. Enjoy the video and your charts
Thank you so much! ❤️
Loved your market releases. I stitched on t-shirts back in the 80’s. I still have one. I used waste canvas. Lady
How great that your shirt has lasted this long! Now I really need to try one and see if I can keep it nice for quite a while as well (no gardening in the cross stitched shirt!) ❤️
Hi, talented lady! For Jingle Ball, a class on how to finish Bees in the Greenhouse. ❤
That would be fun - there are finishing instruction on the website but I'd love to design a holiday version and teach that. ❤️
Ohhhh, yessss!
Thanks so much for the squirrel information. I have a lot of grey and red squirrels. Love to see the babies they are so cute. Loved your new bag! Lady
Oh I've never seen squirrel babies in person - they must be adorable! ❤️
I totally agree. I will actually work to learn more about gardening just for those fresh tomatoes! ❤️
Oh wow, that t-shirt that is stitched on is great!! My favorite flower in the garden is echinacea or coneflower. Xoxo
