I live in Massachusetts and we love the rocky beaches in the Fall and Winter. We tend to stay away when summer comes due to the amount of people. I love when we’re alone and can truly listen to the waves. Whale watching, of course, is always a joy.
Thank you for sharing all those beautiful finishes. They are very inspiring! Love that whale chart. Can’t wait til it is released. Looking forward to your market releases. Thank you for sharing and happy stitching! Stay well. 😊
Whale. I love to walk along the shore in the shallow water and watch the waves go from big to tiny. Also to just sit and listen to the sounds of the beach, particularly the waves.
This was such a lovely video and I love seeing your dogs at the end. The sweater on the Whale is awesome. I always learn something from your videos. Thanks for sharing.
I loved your hair today! I would say my fav beach thing is sitting and listening to the waves. I’m finally going back to the tropics after 6 years away. I am so ready for two weeks in the sun and sand! Seeing those Festive Forest finishes makes me envious as I have a long ways to go on mine. Interesting facts about clementines!
Thank you! I love this wig as well. My own hair never lies straight like that so it's fun for me. How wonderful that you're going back to the tropics! I hope you enjoy every second. ❤️
I love the Gulf of Mexico beaches, watching the waves and dolphin watching. Oh and pelicans. I love pelicans. They look so ungainly standing around but put them in the air and diving for fish and they are amazing.
Happy new whale ;) and year too! My fav things to do on the beach is just walking, enjoying the fresh , salty air and occasionally collecting rocks, sea glasses and whatever the ocean brings to my feet :)
That really is bliss, isn't it? I'd absolutely love to live near the ocean someday, but for now it's the desert and it's very ancient ocean floor for me. 🤣❤️
The winter whale in the sweater is so darn adorable!! I go to the beach but from the lakes side. My family has a boat so we do lots of floating, throwing a frisbee and enjoying sunsets. Can’t wait to see the market releases!!
I love Clementines! Sometimes we luck out and can stretch the season into March...or at least find decent ones at the grocery store. Who wouldn't love a whale in a Christmas sweater? 😊
So delicious, right? I will savor them more now that I know why they're only available for a short time. And I loved the sweater as well - I'd like to do lots of animals in sweaters, maybe a Bison next?🤣❤️
Here in Westerly, RI we hit the beach often. Quiet walks in the winter and hitting the beach after lunch is our favorite in the summer. We always love looking for fun rocks for our front porch rock and shell collection(we don’t have too many shells wash up). And I can’t wait to stitch that whale in a winter sweater! Adorable!!!
I’m a lake lover . My parents retired to NH on a lake. My favorite things are watching all of the water birds. Great blue heron, ducks and loons. My kids spent many hours catching frogs and fishing. No whales here. 😂
I love the beach. Especially in the colder times of year. We used to go as a family and have cookouts. I was able to go whale watching the last time we were visiting the Oregon coast. That was so cool. I am looking forward to market pattern reveals. Happy Stitching.
Good morning!! We enjoy going to the coast every year!! Last year we went to Cannon Beach in Oregon. The best time to visit the beach is when it is low tide. They actually have staff on hand to protect the tide pools and ask questions. They also have binoculars on hand to find the nesting puffins on the large rock. We did not get to see the puffins because the eagles were on the rock that morning. It was an enjoyable trip!! Have a wonderful week. Can’t wait to see your market releases!! ❤
What a great trip! I've been to Cannon Beach several times, but haven't had the full tide pool experience. And I love the thought of the eagles and the puffins taking their "turns" on the rocks. ❤️
I loved seeing the new fabrics you bought. They are all so pretty. I agree with you that the feel of the fabric is also very important and her fabrics are really nice ti work with. I really don't like going to the beach as I do not like getting sand all over me.
My favorite time to go to the beach is in the winter. The sand is firm and compacted so it's easy to walk on and you never know what you are going to find along the waterline. Sometimes it's shells or driftwood and sometimes it's sea glass and tumbled stones. That was a Whale of a Tale about clementines! Really interesting. Please say, "Hello to the pups for me.
Whale watching off the Oregon coast is one of my favorite things, right after sitting and watching the waves. There is an embroidery shop near my house that I go to for work occasionally, they have a dog who will meet you at the door with her soft ball. So of course you have to keep tossing it while you take care of business!
Oh how fun! Do you mind sharing the shop name? I get back to Oregon every few years and I'm always up for a new shop (and a wonderful dog is a great bonus!) ❤️
I live in CT near Mystic which was a historic whaling port many moons ago. We don't see many/any whales here, as most are further north off Cape Cod & Nantucket. I think once caught for their whale oil, they were brought here as well as the ships being serviced here. I'm so glad we don't use their oil any more, & they can swim freely!! Such beautiful creatures!! Saw one breech once off the Cape...just amazing! Your pattern is fabulous! Didn't do the advent box, but can't wait til next year! Have a whale of a week!😊
I was just listening to an audiobook that mentioned the Mystic river! There must be so much whaling history there, although I'm also glad that we don't hunt the whales any more. That breech must have been wonderful - that summer design I'm working on has a whale breech as well. ❤️
My favorite thing at the beach is when the water is calm enough at a beach in the panhandle of FL that you can just float in the water as it just barely goes up and down - no real waves to be seen. It’s my favorite because 1) you can see your feet and see what’s around in that kind of clearer calmer ocean but 2) it’s still easier to float in than a swimming pool and it’s the only place I’ve ever been able to float!
That sounds absolutely wonderful! I'm going to be in Florida in May, but I'm not sure I'll get the opportunity to go for a swim. That's my kind of floating, though. 🤣❤️
Love winter whale! Beautiful linens. I've never stitched on Lakeside linens. I'll put that on my list if things I need to try. Can't wait to see your Market releases!
I always love Lakeside linens, so they're worth trying if you get the chance. But we have so many great options now it's a real treat. And I think I said "Lakeside" instead of "Legacy" for that stitch - one of those things that keeps me up at 1am! 🤣❤️
I bought clementines at the store today. I will look at their shape! I like watching the waves at the beach and when the tides go out. We never saw a whale, but we did see dolphins.
Have always enjoyed clemantines. What a cute whale pattern! I took my grandson on a Whale Watch one year and we were so disappointed not to see one....not even a tail. I just love searching for pieces of seaglass here on our mid-Maine coastline. I have a little jar I keep them in, but have to admit they are not very large pieces. While searching I get to enjoy the sound of the waves splashing on shore and feel the wonderful breeze on my face. Guess, to sum it up....I just love the ocean beaches better than lakes or ponds.
There really is something special about the ocean, isn't there? I started the design being more inclusive to lakes and ponds, but by the time I finished it was 100% ocean. 🤣❤️
I LOVE Winter WHALE! I always enjoy your videos and your beautiful wigs! Just finished my Festive Forest thingy which I enjoyed making. Thanks for sharing your wonderful gifts with us.
I live on the West Coast of Florida, so we get the most amazing sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico beaches. The "whale" of the Gulf is the manatee, which are wintering in our area now.
I love clementines also. I didn’t realize they had such a short growing season. Mow I know why I don’t see them often. I love your whale design. It’s so cute! Nashville is coming too quickly for me. Need to save money for it. lol. ❤
Right? I didn't realize it either, so now I really need to enjoy them as much as possible while they're available. And I need to save up for Nashville as well! Every year there are so many lovely new releases. ❤️
Nothing special just a suit. I did discover early on that a one piece suit is safest! 😂 I think humans picked up body surfing from dolphins/porpoise. When you watch them in the waves you'll see humans do exactly the same thing, no coincidence. When you catch a big one, and there were plenty at Huntington Beach in Southern California where my family vacationed, and you are on the crest ready to be taken in to shore you feel like you have wings. It was exhilarating.
Love to walk the beach and see what I can find and see. Tide pools are a favorite. Bucket list item is to see a whale in the wild (I haven’t been anywhere that is likely).
We live on the Texas Gulf Coast. At the beach we love to look for shells and sea glass, fly kites, body surf, picnic, and look for porpoises. When we are in Michigan in the Great Lakes, it is similar except looking for Petoskey stones instead of shells, no body surfing and porpoise though.
As I watch, my puppy is sleeping cozy next to me. It is 8 degrees outside. No walks planned till it reaches at least 20 tomorrow 😳 (that might be the high 🥶). But Nashville is coming - think Spring🌹
Winter Whale! I saw the pattern on another channel and immediately tried to track it down. Of course I couldn’t find it, but now I know why. A year is a long wait. 😢 But I’ll get it as soon as it’s available. Glad I found this channel today.
I like looking for shells, rocks, and seaglass! I once found a tiny petrified/fossilized seahorse! I would love to whale watch, but I need to visit a different beach for that :)
PS- There's just something therapeutic about sand between my toes and under foot (while on the beach). The smell from the ocean, finding shells and eating fresh seafood!!! 💖
I live on the East Coast, so beaches here see sunrise over the water and not sunset. My favorite time to be on the beach is the late afternoon/early evening. It's cooler and quieter. My favorite thing to do is just sit on the sand and look out over the water. Watching the waves roll in, smelling the sea air, seeing the clouds change to the colors of the sunset behind me and watching the moon rise is truly so peaceful and relaxing. Have a great week!
I love your whale pattern! How sweet is that? When I'm at the beach, I enjoy watching the birds divebomb for fish, sea lions frolicking, and either reading, knitting, or cross-stitching!
@theblueflower2115 yes, it would! I am actually headed to Carmel and Pacific Grove. My husband volunteers at the AT&T golf at Pebble Beach. Hope I see a whale!!!!!
I love being in the beach, especially towards the end of the day into the evening - listening to the waves and just staring out into the water. I adore everything about the ocean and have the utmost respect for it - I would prefer it if all humans would respect it and the creatures that reside there!! I LOVE whales!!
That sounds like absolute heaven. I struggle a bit with being in/on the ocean, but I do love to be near it. And I'd be thrilled if we could take better care of such an amazing part of the world. ❤️
I liked your winter whale design. There was something very peaceful about it. I've lived in different places, so it's a mixture of the great lakes and different parts of the Atlantic Ocean. I love to listen to the sounds of the waves as they rush in and out on the beach, especially at night. It's also fun to look for shells or stop at tiny beach restaurants. And reading a book is perfect at the beach!
Have you heard of tiny Melinda Mae, Who ate a monstrous whale? She thought she could, She said she would, So she started in right at the tail. .... (Shel Silverstein) My absolute favorite thing about being at the beach is listening to the waves! 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
Hello Janine, A visit to your printer's office sounds truly enjoyable, I hope that they will one day allow you to include pictures of their dogs in your wonderful puppy videos. Please forgive my ignorance, but I am confused. Which of your dogs is Mosie? I don't recall ever hearing that name before. Thanks for sharing your new email, I understand how difficult it is to sift through emails looking for one subject. I know that my email is absolutely crammed with good stuff every day, but looking for one specific email or subject is often difficult. I absolutely love your whale pattern, as always it is so delightfully whimsical. It is fixing to be really, really cold here. The low temperature here in East Texas is projected to be in the upper **shudder** teens and lower twenties with the highest temperature only supposed to be ***shudder*** in the upper thirties and lower forties. I know this is winter, but geez Louise that's really, really cold for us in East Texas. The one thing that I am so thankful for us that there is no mention of any sort of rain, sleet or snow!!! Hallelujah!!! I look forward to all the new market designs. I can't wait to see them!! Take care, be safe, and as always, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS.
Great idea - I'll have to ask if I can put them in a video! And Mosi is the black and white greyhound. (Her proper name is Mosaic, for a type of hops, but she gets called Mosi quite a bit.) You are really getting pelted with the cold weather, aren't you! I feel quite guilty, as we continue to have sunny and pleasant (if cold) weather while everyone else is getting hammered by the storm. ❤️
I love walking on the beach when the waves are crashing and the sky is stormy. 🌊 I have fond memories of a trip I took to Tofino, BC and it was so soothing. You need your wind- and water-proof jacket for that though! I recently went to Prince Edward Island and got to experience the same thing, but on the opposite coast! Whale please. Can’t wait to see your Market releases!
Whale 🐋 watching is a Joy!
I’m so excited for market this year I can’t wait to see all the new releases. Have a great week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
It really is so exciting, isn't it? I can't wait to see what's coming out! ❤️
Love to go to the ocean and sit on the beach just listening to the waves and watching the water roll in and out! Whale
I like the beach for rock hunting & and just listening to the water so relaxing
I live in Massachusetts and we love the rocky beaches in the Fall and Winter. We tend to stay away when summer comes due to the amount of people. I love when we’re alone and can truly listen to the waves. Whale watching, of course, is always a joy.
It's the curse of living in a lovely place, isn't it? I'm glad you get the quiet time in the rest of the year to enjoy it. ❤️
Watching your videos is always a whale of a good time 🎉😊
🤣🤣🤣 thank you! ❤️
Can’t wait to see your market releases! Whale 🐳 🐋
Whale I just love that design 😊

Whale, that was just fascinating about clementines. Thank you
Love being on the beach listening to the waves coming in and looking for dophin and shells.
I love that Whale - crossing fingers. Thank you 😊
Thank you for sharing all those beautiful finishes. They are very inspiring! Love that whale chart. Can’t wait til it is released. Looking forward to your market releases. Thank you for sharing and happy stitching! Stay well. 😊
Oh thank you! ❤️
Whale. I love to walk along the shore in the shallow water and watch the waves go from big to tiny. Also to just sit and listen to the sounds of the beach, particularly the waves.
Oh, me too. That sound is like nothing else in the world. ❤️
I have wonderful memories of seeing WHALES during a cruise to Alaska that I took with my forever friend years ago.
That sounds like an incredible trip! The two of you must have had such fun. ❤️
Thank you for another great update, love your Whale stitch 😊
Thank you so much! ❤️
Whales are so amazing. I love watching sunrises and sunsets at the beach. I’m looking forward to your new releases!
Thank you! I'm so excited to share them. 🤣❤️
Whale
I really enjoy visiting with you and especially love the world around. Thank you. Barb
Thank you so much for joining me! ❤️
This was such a lovely video and I love seeing your dogs at the end. The sweater on the Whale is awesome. I always learn something from your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! I was really excited about doing that sweater, and the design was such fun to work on. ❤️
I loved your hair today! I would say my fav beach thing is sitting and listening to the waves. I’m finally going back to the tropics after 6 years away. Happy new whale ;) and year too! My fav things to do on the beach is just walking, enjoying the fresh , salty air and occasionally collecting rocks, sea glasses and whatever the ocean brings to my feet :)

I love whales and I love looking for colored sea glass it reminds me of a poem I love
I'd love to hear the poem! ❤️
The winter whale in the sweater is so darn adorable!!
I go to the beach but from the lakes side. My family has a boat so we do lots of floating, throwing a frisbee and enjoying sunsets.
Can’t wait to see the market releases!!
That sounds wonderful! ❤️

That whale is adorable! My favorite beach activity is shelling. I love finding treasures on the shore. 🏝️🐚 Can’t wait to see your market releases. 🤩
Oh me too! And I keep things like that around so I can pick them up and remember the trip. ❤️
Adorable!!!
That sounds absolutely wonderful! And I'm inveterate picker-up on the beach as well. ❤️
Omg that Whale 🐳 is so cute!!
Thank you! ❤️
I love to stitch nautical themes and your little whale is adorable!
Thank you so much! ❤️
Fun! I love oranges! The beach creatures are my favorite! 😊 A whale would be amazing to see!
If you love sea creatures, this new summer release might be for you! 🤣❤️
That winter whale is super cute!
Thank you! ❤️
I love Clementines and haven't even thought of looking for them this year. Once the cold front moves on I will check them out!
I’m a lake lover . My parents retired to NH on a lake. My favorite things are watching all of the water birds. Great blue heron, ducks and loons. My kids spent many hours catching frogs and fishing. No whales here. 😂
That sounds absolutely wonderful! ❤️
Winter whale is so sweet!
Oh thank you! ❤️
I love the beach. Especially in the colder times of year. We used to go as a family and have cookouts. I was able to go whale watching the last time we were visiting the Oregon coast. That was so cool. I am looking forward to market pattern reveals. Happy Stitching.
Me too! There's just something about fog and the ocean that's magical to me. And I don't get sunburned which is also a bonus. 🤣❤️
I love the little doggy coats!
Aren't they cute? Rye HATES wearing any coat but she's so slender sometimes she has to put up with it. ❤️
Good morning!! We enjoy going to the coast every year!! Last year we went to Cannon Beach in Oregon. The best time to visit the beach is when it is low tide. The sand is an unfortunate downside. But I like rocky beaches that you can walk on with regular shoes as well - and no sand! ❤️
What a beautiful whale.
Thank you! ❤️
Thank you
It’s the “year of the whale “ for me! I am finding many cool whale patterns calling my name! 🐳
Oh what a fun theme for the year! There must be lots of fun whale patterns to choose from. ❤️
A winter walk along the shore sounds wonderful. Please enjoy it for me as well! And I'll be sure to pass on some extra love to the pups. ❤️
Oh my gosh that whale!! Love it so much as I do all of your designs.
Oh my, thank you! ❤️
The whale is so cute!
Thank you so much! ❤️

@@theblueflower2115 It is a commercial embroidery shop, they stitch company logos on shirts for us. No fun stuff to be found there except for the dog!
I live in CT near Mystic which was a historic whaling port many moons ago. We don't see many/any whales here, as most are further north off Cape Cod & Nantucket. I LOVE Winter WHALE! I always enjoy your videos and your beautiful wigs! Just finished my Festive Forest thingy which I enjoyed making. Thanks for sharing your wonderful gifts with us.

just love watching your videos and all the information you share. whale
Oh thank you so much! ❤️
Beach activity for me was always body surfing: 8am to 5pm!
Oh that sounds lovely! Do you need to wear a wetsuit for that or is the water warm enough? ❤️
Nothing special just a suit. I did discover early on that a one piece suit is safest! 😂 I think humans picked up body surfing from dolphins/porpoise. Whale (Well), I can hardly wait to see the new goodies from market!! This whale pattern would be great too!!! It's too cute!!!
Thank you! I had so much fun with him and his little sweater. 🤣❤️
Love to walk the beach and see what I can find and see. Tide pools are a favorite. Bucket list item is to see a whale in the wild (I haven’t been anywhere that is likely).
Fingers crossed you'll get to see one! Obviously you need more beach trips, just to improve the odds. 🤣❤️

Winter Whale! I saw the pattern on another channel and immediately tried to track it down. Of course I couldn’t find it, but now I know why. A year is a long wait. 😢 But I’ll get it as soon as it’s available. Glad I found this channel today.
Fortunately (?) time seems to go more quickly every year! 😭🤣❤️
Happy New year Jeannine
Thank you so much Hannah, and happy new year to you as well! ❤️
I like looking for shells, rocks, and seaglass! I once found a tiny petrified/fossilized seahorse! I would love to whale watch, but I need to visit a different beach for that :)
How wonderful that you found a little seahorse! What a great treasure. ❤️
PS- There's just something therapeutic about sand between my toes and under foot (while on the beach). The smell from the ocean, finding shells and eating fresh seafood!!! 💖
I'm an inveterate shell-seeker as well! ❤️
At the beach, I love to be a sloth, sit under a cabana or umbrella and read…look up now and the. To look for a dolphin or whale. Happy New Year!🎉
That sounds wonderful! Although in fairness, I like to sit and read pretty much anywhere. 🤣❤️
I love to read under a beach umbrella close to the water. I’m not sure I’ve seen many patterns with that in it.
Oooh, great idea. I put a beach umbrella in one of my designs for summer, but no one is reading. I need to put that on the list for future! ❤️

I love your whale pattern! How sweet is that? When I'm at the beach, I enjoy watching the birds divebomb for fish, sea lions frolicking, and either reading, knitting, or cross-stitching!
Wouldn't it be lovely if we could do all of those things every day? ❤️

What was the music that played when you were showing the pups at the end? It's so pretty,
I'm so glad you liked it! It's called "Go Baroque" from the youtube free music library.
Thank you! I wanted it to feel peaceful but also happy. ❤️
@@theblueflower2115 It did both! ☺
I’m having a whale of a time….hugs
Oh, thank you so much! And hugs to you as well. ❤️
Have you heard of tiny Melinda Mae,
Who ate a monstrous whale?
She thought she could,
She said she would,
So she started in right at the tail. .... (Shel Silverstein)
My absolute favorite thing about being at the beach is listening to the waves!
