I tick every box for this including problems swallowing. Loss of muscles hanging head, droopy eyelids, etc but sadly no doctor want to help me even get the test.
They just have temp doctors and you have three minutes per visit for them to determine what’s wrong and prescribe medicine. The two good doctors I had that helped me get some tests to start sorting out what’s wrong have both been unemployed because they refused the three minutes checkup as rule. They both stated it takes longer then that to find what’s wrong when it’s complicated.

Hello! I learned about a new drug from ARTHEx Biotech that can greatly help people who have myotonic dystrophy. Do you have any predictions as to when this new drug will be available for purchase?

Great video. The only thing I'd add which i important for clinicians to know, is that these patients tend to do quite poorly when GA is administered due to cardiopulmonary dysfunction, and so they often need extensive postoperative monitoring if given a GA.

Hey id just thought id give you a couple answers to your questions.im my husbands carer who has this disease i support him by pushing and motivating him to do the things he can do and with alot of patients help him do things he cant and treating him like a normal person and just being there for him and secondly i wish there was something that could stop progression and i wish there was a cure its hard watching them deteriorate and have no way of slowing it he gets physio once a week and according to our specialists doing more physical activity can make him progress more so its a balancing act hope this helps with your queation

Look into Dr Dayan Goodenowe and plasmalogen replacement therapy. They’re using them to treat lots of rare genetic disorders. I’d also reach out to grant fowler (fowler fitness). He treats a lot of people with peptides for muscular dystrophy
